I bought the handlebar bob which allows you to have a right hand throttle and leave the gear shifter where it is look it up 👍🏾

I had the half twist throttle but I found I got whiskey throttle quite a lot so I put a thumb throttle on the right hand side of my handlebars and it feels better 😊👌
Yeah Alvin seems to be okay with the twist but I would much prefer right thumb throttle. Left thumb for dropper post
FYI: You can enable the throttle in PAS 0 by reprogramming Assist 0 Current Limit and Speed Limit % to 1.

Hello there and thank you for commenting! I had to look up the Bafang M300 as I was curious to see what it looked like. Unfortunately, judging from the how the wiring harness looks, it doesn't appear to have a wire for throttle. For that reason, I'm afraid a throttle is not capable for your controller setup. Sorry! I'm sure if you get into customization, one could wire one in but that's beyond the knowledge and scope of what we would want to try.

Might be a late comment, but i want to convert my bike into one of these electric ones with a throttle, i just want to know if its possible to do it and remove the pedals and still ride? And how fast can i reach with 1500 watt motor?
Hello and thank you for commenting! To be honest I feel like the Bafang kits work with many style bikes. The question is whether your bottom bracket is compatible to house the mid-drive motor. Got a bike brand/name you can give me to better help you out? With the Bafang kits, you don't have to use the pedal assist and can solely use the throttle. As far as how "fast" you can go depends on the gearing you are using.
@@FirstTimersCycling eh, no sorry I don’t know my bicycles name, but it’s just a standard medium sized mountainbike I want to put 48 volt battery maybe 52 and 1500 watt motor, and as My questions was before if it’s possible to remove the pedals and make it like a suron and just use twist throttle?
@@zvat4788 So the answer to your question is yes it can be ridden by throttle only. You'll still need some sort of pedal system so you can stand or have to make a foot peg somewhere like a dirt bike or Suron.
@@FirstTimersCycling yeah that was what I was thinking, just mounting dirt bike pegs, so it can be done like this? Alright thanks for answering, cuz I didn’t know because I haven’t seen anyone do it on yt and this is probably the closest I will get to a sur Ron that isn’t pretty expensive
@@zvat4788 Just need to figure out how to mount the crank arms to fit the pegs. Maybe really short crank arms I don't know. You're right, I haven't seen them done. The Sur Ron has two versions, one with crank pedals and the other with stationary dirt bike pegs. Both have different applications to fit the style. You'll have to figure that out as I haven't seen any being done on YT either.

Hey Ron, no we've been busy and I was out of the country for 2 weeks. That's why we were deploying the full ride episodes while I was gone. One more mod to Alvin's bike and we'll pickup riding again.

does this work on the rear hub motor as well?
If the rear hub bafang system comes with a throttle input wire then yes. The cable should look the same as in our video.
does this only work on a mid drive?
To be honest, can't say for sure. What I'm thinking is that it should work on any Bafang kits with a throttle input.

Not just any ebike I wouldn't think. It would have to be a Bafang product since this throttle specifically works for the Bafang wiring harness.
