Starter car? More like Ender car. You don't need more than the Swinger ever gave ya. You get from A to B and maybe you put in an 8 track so you can have a little Bee Gees with ya but that's about all ya need. You have other things to do - let the Swinger get you there.
Is it fast or a boat I'm looking at buying a 76 dart sport with slant 6 but I don't want a old american ricer/ slug. It is hard to tell how fast it is in the video
A 225 slant six would not be fast. In it's day, it was the smallest Dart and was considered a compact car. However size classifications have changed since then. It's easy to find size specs online, so you could compare that to more modern day cars you are more familiar with.
@@dangeroreilly2028 ooh okay, yeah I found out they wanted 5k for it rusted out and literally no interior besides a seat. I said screw it and got a 79 el camino with a 305. I was doubtful of a 305 since the smallest engine I've ever had was a 350. However, it is surprisingly peppy.
I would love to have a car like that, but I could probably never handle it. I could barely park a Mini when I used to drive; this would take me so long that I'd probably just give up and leave it in the street :) But I kinda would like to try and shoehorn the slant six into a Mini...
In my eyes the 73-75 are Dodge Demon. Dodge had to change name from Demon to Sport on account of religious folks complaining on the Demon name.
Those cars with the slant 6 were tanks, they were a lot better than the aspens that replaced them
They were good cars, slant six was bullet proof, back when Chrysler Plymouth was quality
My folks had one with 318 that I learned to drive in circa 1980. Rather lackluster performance
the 225 would just never quit, and with a few goodies would shame a 318!
Limu the emu car, liberty mutual customizes your car insurance so that you only pay for what you need
You need some Rush or Boston playing on that radio
Vintage Slant Six, folks!
Ya a turbo kit would wake this up a bunch if it would put out 400 foot pounds that's crazy!
The perfect cruiser, love the slant too!
Slant 6 engines are durable and will last forever. The slant can be hotrodded too!
You can't kill a Slant 6 even if you tried. It was virtually indestructible.
Slant Six ,Sweet man,Keep up the good work man.
Slant Six,
Yeah, Yeah, well, you have a little following, anyway.
Me? I want to see a V8 AND a 4 speed Manual transmission, in ANY MOPAR.
Al Bundy takim latał

Has Ice Cold AC, he said, then said "It needs some freeon", LMAO!
75's have the chrome around the tail lights. They only made these cars up through 76.
The car of my childhood. Slant 6 engine.
Excelente, muy bonito su carro, que tal si me lo regalas y me lo envias por barco a Venezuela? seria genial...!

I was never a fan of 6 cylinders. But this actually looks & sounds nice. Go check mine out.
Ray LowKey These slant 6 cars respond to boost very well. A turbo kit can get it to over 400 foot pounds of torque.
Rust scratch and dented bucket junk
keep familys together free the kids and say no to the wall and yes to open borders
Had one similar. Had 260H Comp cam.. 440" lift, Edelbrock 500. Kept up with 5.0 Mustangs
