Vietnamese Village Feast!! Celebrating A Child Turning One Month In Vietnamese Culture!!!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 лип 2020
- It is finally the day! The celebration of a child turning one month in Vietnamese culture. Typically a huge celebration is done with the whole village coming to participate and giving their blessing.
Today was a full day of learning not only about traditional Vietnamese foods, but the culture and activities as well.
While the preparing of the food was going on, Tim and I decided to head down to the local village lady making Banh Khot. A savory and decadent snack that’s perfect for holding off the hunger until the feast.
After returning to the village and watching more cooking and prep work, I devoured a whole plate of durian sticky rice. After the locals seeing how much I love durian they went out and bought a few for everybody to eat and snack on during the day.
As time grew closer for people to arrive, so did the pace. With a quick sprint to the end to finish all the cooking and then suddenly we are at the tables and the 5 course feast had begun. With a lot to celebrate, many drinks, eats, and karaoke was enjoyed to bring this day to an end.
Such a unique experience and I am so happy I got experience the opportunity with my friend Tim.

🤤🤤🤤🥰
Unlike other travelers who mainly stop at big and common attraction like Hanoi, Saigon, Da Nang, Hue, Ha Long Bay, your trip actually goes deeper into Vietnam and reveals more about the culture, food, and people that you wouldn't be able to experience through normal tourism. Very authentic.
🙏🙏🙏
you can check out "the best ever food review show" too, Max and Sonny are the 2 I always go to for this type of content

I really love how you make videos about Vietnam. Most of foreigners, especially from North America and Europe tend to worry about hygiene and food safety when travelling to Vietnam. Besides, I also love the way you enjoy Vietnamese food. Personally I think Vietnam cuisine is really original. They are cooked perfectly and good for your health. This is because they do not contain a lot of fat, oil, cheese and butter like Western food. Seeing this video makes me recall my childhood memories in Mekong Delta where people are truly friendly, generous and hospitable. I hope you will have more videos about experiencing the Vietnamese culture in the future. Love from Vietnam.❤❤❤
I hope I will have more as well! Thank you so much for watching and your kind words!
Nothing like home cooking. This has to be one of the best way to experience the culture.
You’re more Vietnamese than I am! So jealous of you.
I’m glad I found this Channel. I have to say you are a very humble, simple person. Enjoy watching your video.
I appreciate that! Welcome to the family!
Your videos are the only ones I make a point to watch and like every video. I love watching you. You can pronounce the words correctly, a great food hunter and the cutest country boy on UA-cam. You are authentic and ding do fake reactions. And you read all of your comments. You deserve a like for every video.
Dangggg, you are so nice. Thank you so much!
There's a country song: "I miss my son I miss my wife, I miss my ordinary life" . Looking at the whole family and neighbours got together in the kitchen to prepare for party takes me back to the good old days. Life in North America is never the same .
Max you're so lucky, the food looks delicious and the people are super friendly and hospitavke👍🏼❤️

What an honor to be welcomed at such a wonderful celebration. Tim's daughter is so precious and beautiful. Did I miss being introduced to his wife? This video is exactly what I had asked for. An authentic family meal. My mother was one of ten so this definitely brings back precious memories. When you were building up the introduction of the speakers, I thought it would be a pig.🐷🤣 Thanks to Tim and his family and thanks to you Max 🎉

It was so fun, everyone worked and ate together happily and boisterously, if you shoot a little longer about the hotpot will be better, the peaceful countryside scene I love
Everything looks so good. Ugh, I miss che troi nuoc.
Your videos are very great!
People make fun of Vietnam, but when I went I loved how the country comes together to help each other. You don't see any homeless people. Everyone has a home.
Actually there’s homeless people but it’s rarely to see them. I don’t know about the South but in the North they live together and they walk along the road selling toothpick, gum, keychain or nail cutters on the road. Yes most of them have home
In Saigon, there are a lot homeless ppl. However, the government is not too strict on them if they put up metal sheds to live along the river. Besides, Vietnamese are very family oriented. They will let the relatives live with them if their relatives don't have places to live. It's normal for them to have 4-6 ppl in 1 bedroom.
There are homeless in every county, you can look at color man youtube channel to watch more of the homeless people he help.
Because the people here are more willing to give to homeless people.
Actualy there are small room call nhà trọ. You could rent it with less than100$ to stay with other people. If u meet a man with mental problem. U could make a phone call to gov and they will come bring him to hospital for them. Its what happen in my city. . Its not perfectly how you say. But things happening good in Viet Nam. And really. I dont know people make fun about my country. Why?!
The food looks amazing!
Thanks to show me Vietnamese thôi nôi👍👍👌👌😘. I miss Việt Nam life😭😭😭😭😊
Amazing video. I miss my hometown.
Hey Max ,you are a great man .we love you so much .
You are so kind, thank you!
perfect video to relax after work
This is one of my favorite video u made so far bc I love all the traditional celebration and vn culture have. All the delicious foods they the family make to celebrate the baby 1 month. Love to watch u able to celebrate with the family and please continue the second half of the celebration. This video was too short bc I didn’t want it to finish. I love the country side of vn and how the people live. Love it and thx u for doing it....
Thank you so much 🤗 I would love to be able to make more videos like this so I am looking forward to future opportunities!
