Great channel fellas and another excellent video. You made me fall in love with the XT all over again seeing that beautiful and magnificent XT. I tip my hat to you Rusty. Love to meet you someday and shake your hand mate. Excellent work brother.
Rusty is a very good builder with attention to all the little details. His car is absolutely beautiful. Glass like black paint perfect gaps and it just goes on. It's one of the best quality builds we have seen.
@@rrusty71 Hey buddy, unfortunately I'm not even close mate. I'm in Western Sydney. I'll shake your hand in spirit mate and if I ever get over there, I'll keep an eye out for you. Take care bud. 👍
What a beautiful car. The best part is that you built it yourself Rusty, that is what i appreciate the most and that is a stunning looking Falcon, Thanks for sharing mate.
@@rrusty71 I sure did mate its a stunning Falcon, i built my xy gt rep in my garage at home also, from body, paint to all the running gear. I follow you on fb and the xy you restored is incredible also 👌 thanks for sharing!
@@Itallstartswithadream1 Tried to get XY Lic the other day but it failed because steering doesn’t self center. So it’s booked in to a wheel alignment & suspension specialist. Fingers crossed he can do magic on it so it passes soon. As soon as it passes I’ve got some ripper plates going on 3GTHO71 & chrome tramp rods to put on.
@@rrusty71 Yeah i seen that mate, you were trying out another idler arm, i thought you might of had it back to front, i did an xd the other at work with same problem and someone fitted the idler arm wrong way. Man those are super cool plates, its lucky they were available 👍😊
Crikey, he has certainly gone to some massive effort to build that car. Well done Rusty and thanks AussieGarage for sharing with us. What a wonderful build and awesome looking vehicle.
Ahhh, there you go you let your little secret slip out. Panel beater for many years. Any wonder it's absolutely perfect. Once again fantastic job on a fantastic car. Old Ford's Never Die ! 👍👍😎
My first car was a white ‘68 XT with the 302 Windsor ex cop car. Got silly one night sliding up the street in Sydney, put it through a brick fence and that was that!! That was in 1978 and I paid $1800.00 for it. I miss that car!! Like he missed his first Fairmont!!
@rrusty71 thanks bud really enjoyed seeing your build, I'm currently doing one aswel xr, but turning it into an xt gt mock, really inspiring watching your videos. I'm almost finished it now just couple bits to go. How much are you selling the fog lights if I may ask? Cheers rusty 👍
