Essendon actually dominated large portions and looked dangerous, but made poor decisions inside 50 Melbourne just look woeful and had so few shots on target. Poor kicking inside 50 is expected and they hardly had any decent run and carry. Scoreboard somehow still flattered them
@@RyanQuinn0397 To me it didn’t like Essendon were going to win at any stage , I thought Carlton dominated 3 quarters , and no I’m not a Carlton supporter
Clubs like Melb or Geelong that claim to have the best interests in the players health is laughable. Geelong kept Cameron on after that heavy head knock desperate to win and now Melb kept Petracca on desperate to get back in the game when he could barely get off the ground. Goodwin is also a tool. This time last year Goodwin was poking at Collingwood about not valuing Grundy like Melb did yet melb didnt play him and then offloaded him after 1 season because he didnt fit their mold. Talk about values. They tried to turn a ruckman into a forward. That was never going to work. The reason Pies got rid of Grundy is because he held the club to ransom about his salary and didnt want to take a pay cut to open up their salary cap to gain other players with the likes of Hill, Mitchell, Frampton and McStay who they ended up getting and got a flag from it, so they offloaded him. It had nothing to do with them not wanting him and Grundy wasnt doing anything since his long term contract was extended in 2019. Now he has stepped up because he knows its his last chance at a third club otherwise hes toast.
Things that showed that Melbourne is a shambles. The coaching staff locking the players out at half time, never seen that before. May being May having a go at his own teammates. He's a great defender, but toxic. The Daicos tag that was a win for the Pies. He still had an influence, and the Dees lost out on the influence of one of their key movers. Terrible move from a very average coach. Pies decimated by injuries, but the players coming in know their system, the Dees have no system.
I hate them but Fair play to carlton they won that's all you can do but seriously I've never seen a more over hyped team it's ridiculous the only difference in that game is 1 team took pretty much every chance they had and the other team took none like the 3rd qtr essendon kicked 3.6 to 1.0

Also to the naked eye Essendon played better than Melbourne and the scoreboard backs it up
Essendon should have won that game? Gimme a break!
Essendon actually dominated large portions and looked dangerous, but made poor decisions inside 50
Melbourne just look woeful and had so few shots on target. Poor kicking inside 50 is expected and they hardly had any decent run and carry.
Scoreboard somehow still flattered them

To me it didn’t like Essendon were going to win at any stage , I thought Carlton dominated 3 quarters , and no I’m not a Carlton supporter
Should have, could have etc etc. Bad kicking is bad football possum.
Pretty harsh on Petracca
Melbourne is navy blue
Best proven solution is to get the players to do a bake off because they're literally cooked!
They're*
Looks like melb is copying port adelaide theyr gonna respond next week too. Just ask Ken hes been using that line for over a decade now
Things that showed that Melbourne is a shambles.
Melbourne will bounce back no doubt and back in finals contention 👍💪
I hate them but Fair play to carlton they won that's all you can do but seriously I've never seen a more over hyped team it's ridiculous the only difference in that game is 1 team took pretty much every chance they had and the other team took none like the 3rd qtr essendon kicked 3.6 to 1.0
They are a fake 2nd placed team. They are sitting 2nd with a percentage of 109. I still think Collingwood are better than Carlton.
Sides like Collingwood, Freo, Geelong, GWS and Bulldogs have had a harder fixture.
@@Not1Dimensionalpossum, according to the ladder Carlton are currently placed second. Remind me where Collingwood is? Typical collingwood supporter: opens mouth before brain kicks in. Today Teams fear Carlton.
@@giopomerol3952I don't fear them. Sydney don't fear them. Collingwood certainly don't. 2nd with a weak percentage says it all.
@@giopomerol3952Collingwood are 2nd on the ladder if they beat North. They're a bad matchup for Carlton. They beat Melbourne with a quarter of a team while Carlton barely beat them.
Petracca embracing Maynard pre-game was a bloody disgrace.
Melbourne still whinging about an accident that happened is a disgrace. Brayshaw wore a helmet long before Maynard.
Petracca is a decent and intelligent human.
Not sure why he’d carry on like the nuffies in the crowd who have no understanding of football.
wait till you find out Maynard's brother is an ex Demons player
And why is that. Thats good sportmanship, unlike Kosi giving Howe the bird which the media would have been all over as racial abuse if Howe gave Kosi the bird and Kosi would have had his arms up in the air and made sure everyone noticed.
Maybe you should stick to golf. This game doesnt seem to suit your style.
I agree. Why hug a thug!
