Want to know the best apps to help depression and anxiety or to help prevent suicide? These are my favorite, most recommended apps that can help you cope with anxiety, relieve depression, learn to meditate, and resolve stress.
I go over apps like Youper, which helps with anxiety, social anxiety, and depression by helping you take tiny steps toward growth.
I talk about Headspace, a meditation app that has massive appeal. Meditation and mindfulness have been shown to be helpful treatments for depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses.
And I talk about my favorite app, Stop, Breathe, and Think, which helps you connect with what is going on emotionally, physically, and mentally, and then recommends a meditation tailored to your specific needs.

About Me
I’m Emma McAdam. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I have worked in various settings of change and growth since 2004. My experience includes juvenile corrections, adventure therapy programs, wilderness therapy programs, an eating disorder treatment center, a residential treatment center, and I currently work in an outpatient therapy clinic.
In therapy I use a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systems Theory, positive psychology, and a bio-psycho-social approach to treating mental illness and other challenges we all face in life. The ideas from my videos are frequently adapted from multiple sources. Many of them come from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, especially the work of Steven Hayes, Jason Luoma, and Russ Harris. The sections on stress and the mind-body connection derive from the work of Stephen Porges (the Polyvagal theory), Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing) Francine Shapiro (EMDR), and Bessel Van Der Kolk. I also rely heavily on the work of the Arbinger institute for my overall understanding of our ability to choose our life's direction.
And deeper than all of that, the Gospel of Jesus Christ orients my personal worldview and sense of security, peace, hope, and love www.churchofje...

Hi love! I hope you're okay now and doing fine. I'm so proud of you.
Hello! I just want to tell a story. Ever since I was really scared. Whenever someone leaves that important to me. I was ready to think that something bad might happen to them. That's how I used to be. Until the earthquake came in. I was suddenly shocked by what happened. After that even leaving the house i always feel like something will happen even im walking on the streets. Everything I fear makes me panic. I could not breathe I was trembling. whenever it rains lightning strikes brown out, Almost everything. I always feel bad. I'm scared of traveling I feel like I'm trapped. I got to the point where I didn’t want to live. I don't know what else I should do. I worry about my college life and especially i am nursing student how can i survive? even riding a bus I panicked. :(
Hello, I'm sorry to know you're in that situation. I understand how hard it is, I've went through something similar. I'm not a mental health specialist or anything but it sounds like ptsd for me. I know it might sound cliché but professional help will help a lot
