Hey Jason this was a gr8 1. I was playing it quite nicely and doing the pick up etc but it occurred to me when I checked back with the vid I wasn't playing what u were...I slowed it down and then realised when u swing round the 4D and 4B and back down I was adding a 2B as a timing thing and didn't even realise...sounds alright tho' with that note in there as the last note before you go back to the start makes it sound a bit more 'Caldonia' if I can put that way. Anyway I use it as a variation now 😀❤😎

Hello, I recorded the drums on the song 'Blowin' Like Hell' by the late William Clarke. I'm not sure if William used a 'C' chromatic or a 'Bb' chromatic harmonica? I've been looking for someone that can play the chromatic harmonica and play 'Blowin' Like Hell'. Anyone? I made a photograph slide show set to music of my first European Blues tour: William Clarke Blues Band Europe 1988

This is awesome. Question: On your notation in part "B", you have "2" without a "d" next to it, but you don't mean for a 2b there right? Because elsewhere when you have "4" without a "d", you mean 4 blow. And later in that "B" string of notes, you have "2d."

Great video. Cofused by the pattern however. Do you play chord 1 twice, chord 4 once, the chord 2 twice, then chord 5 once? Cant quite follow your instructionc
Same as a regular 12 bar blues. The head has you twice on the 1 chord (bars 1-4), once on the IV (bars 5-6), once back on the I (bars 7-8), Once on V-IV-I kinda considering the rest of the lick carries you through bars 9-12. Hope that helps. You can also just here it in the demos and organically get the feel ❤️.
