Mung beans (Ndengu/ greengrams) are great with chapati. Chapati gets better with Swahili coconut bean stew.

I went on a trip to Australia years ago and we had a cowboy cook out in the outback and afterwards we did star gazing. It was amazing and so was the cook out. We ate kangaroo, crocodile and bread that the cooked on the spot. We practiced our boomerang skills.

Can't go wrong with chapo aka chapati....I make it twice a month for my family with Ndengu or chicken coconut stew...
Ndengu is my favorite Kenyan dish too. It's pretty simple to make for yourself. But my Kenyan mom's version is the best along with her chapos.
GRVL is the one place I've golfed in Kenya. The place is beautiful. Zebra and other animals on the course!
