I think Ashoka knew who Vader was. She just didn't want to believe it. She liked Anakin too much to destroy his myth. Anakin had problems with himself long before he turned to the dark side. Ahsoka telling Anakin "this isn't about you" will always be so funny to me not only because of his ego and literally being the "chosen one" but also because the story is still very much about him even long after he is dead 😂
@grimmrefertheJedi I'm sorry, remind me again why Kylo Ren became who he was and did what he did? Oh right it was because he wanted to finish his Grandfathers work. It all still even in the new movies goes back to him. There is a reason why they had his helmet in the sequels.
@user-vi4xy1jw7e Yes I understand that... I meant the overall story of Star Wars in general, not that specific part. Also it is a joke. Don't take it too seriously.
Great video, I have a theory that Ahsoka should be left alive and brought back in the new Star Wars films to help rebuild the Jedi Order with Ray like Obi-Wan in the original Star Wars so she can become the new Obi-Wan Kenobi
Hopefully not, don’t want her to have any connection to the sequels, I think she’s gonna die not much older than she is now, either in Dave’s movie, or if he makes a 2nd or 3rd movie after the first, sacrificing herself for Luke to carry on the jedi legacy, sad as it is.
Nah I hope that' not the case. Unfortunately Luke's character arc was trashed by the new trilogy, so anything in sacrifice for him feels wasted, as we know how his story ends. @@ncard00
Since the “daughter” (the Light side of the Force ) infused Ashoka with her life essence and brought her back to life , Ashoka has become more important and more powerful in the grand story of StarWars .
I wonder if Bariss' mind got corrupted by those worm parasites from Geonosis, that got in her brain after the destruction of the droid weapons factory, which her and Ahsoka actually destroyed?!!!
15:48 I’m still trying to determine where in the time line Ahsoka originally starts training Sabine as a Jedi? Is there a short, a book, or anything that covers that timeframe?
I'm confused by this, Sabine has no aptitude for the force, she's a Mandalorian whose entire arsenal is designed to take down force-wielding Jedi... yet with weak and incomplete training she picks up a saber and goes into a fight with a dark-side user. This made no sense to me whatsoever.
@@dizmatt1 We don't know quite exactly how incomplete her training is yet. She was also fighting another apprentice who, even with a connection to the force, has likely had much less training in combat than Sabine has.
@@ChrisEllorris, true. But Sabine didn't know that. Her default tactics would be Mandalorian based unless there is an element I'm missing, and as quoted.. she's the least attuned apprentice that the robot has ever seen
@@dizmatt1 She didn't have any of her gear on her when she was attacked. If you've got no beskar around and are being attacked with a lightsaber, you fight back with the one you've been holding sentimentally 😂 It was a surprising scene but I think that was the point. She has been depressed and doesn't have her fighting spirit until the end of episode 2. Otherwise her hair wouldn't have been so long.

You know I kind of wish Disney never decanonized the old timeline as far as the extended universe but I can see why they did it so they could start from scratch I guess but it really kind of messed up a lot of things to in some ways but I enjoy the New Canon to
Note: This series is yet another in the long line of media wherein men are relegated to "fool" or "evil" roles only. The crew of the Ghost is featured but the show is careful not to include any male members. It still has good production value, excellent stunt and fighting sequences and great effects. The story is a bit formulaic but its very watchable. It's unfortunate the narrative is "girl-bosses" only. But there is definitely an audience for that.
Heaven forbid that amongst the likes of Andor, The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi Wan, Solo etc... they produce one series with a female main character that spends most of her time with female companions :O Incel mindset.
@@JoshSmith-q6p Funny you should mention those. Because the women in those shows had real parts. The writers knew better than to relegate them to subordinate status. That just isn't done now (nor should it be). Those women were written with respect and dignity, they had strength and power. But its perfectly okay to make all men idiots, or just cut them out entirely, because what are they gonna do about it huh? What is anyone going to do about it? Nothing is what. Enjoy your girl-bossing there will be plenty more where that came from. There is a big market for disparity.

@@JaylaSecuraReason for the 2 episode premiere is probably cause the first episode will catch a lot of people up with Ahsoka’s journey, as well as the Rebels crew, either with clone wars animation clips in there, or scenes from clone wars and rebels remade in live action, which would be SICK.
Ummm it’s official the Multiverse has destroyed everything. I was watching The Flash and it was just like Peter Parker visiting Dr Strange. Now there’s a “world between worlds” and Ahsoka is able to go back to her own timeline? I’m sorry but no thanks. There has to be a way to write this keep it interesting, maintain and grow a fanbase. Before we know it Star Wars will devolve into the multiple timeline nonsense Disney is doing in the Marvel Universe. It’s only a matter of time (pun intended) until there are Star Wars & Avengers crossovers. Probably not gonna stick around for that.
The Only Star Wars Recap You Need Before Watching Ahsoka - Disney Sucks, cancel Disney+, don't watch it, eat popcorn and watch Disney stock plummet in real time. There, I fixed it.
I just wish she would’ve returned to her animation backgrounds as she was a far more flushed out individual in the animated form. Her three-dimensional human form is so flat, only because she’s limited by being human being, the limitations of being human in a world of the Jedi and our imagination and a cost-effective production team who can’t afford the special effects to make an actress and actors look like their actual Jedi can we go back to the animation please?
Blah blah blah Ahsoka, blah blah blah Vader, blah blah blah Palpatine. This is how the original Star Wars becomes trivialized in minutiae and inconsequential characters nobody cares about. Now we see how Greek mythology evolved over such a short time into a complex labyrinth of interconnected and confusing storylines and characters.
Well we all know Disney KK has killed Star Wars, this will be no different. Do not know how they had the balls to state everything done between the films and them taking over was none Canon when the vast majority of it is better than anything they have done, including all the novels etc.

Ahsoka is arguably one of the best story arcs in the franchise. She just happens to be a female. Sabine has prior lightsaber training but is not force-sensitive. Is very unique and come a long way. It looks like after her saber training with Kanan and Ezra she started training with Ahsoka. Which explains why she couldn’t train Grogu. Also, I think that it’s pretty badass that she is taking on a padawan that doesn’t have force sensitivity. I think after order 66 that beggars can’t be choosers when it comes to mentoring. Despite all of that with all of Ahsoka's knowledge of saber stances (and she knows a shit ton) that she should be able to mold Sabine into a very good duelist. (Think Arya Stark) which brings us to the last female lead Hera who will have an interesting plotline potential. How old is Jacen now? Will he be mentioned or shown if not I have doubts about how big of a role Hera will have other than being a top-shelf pilot and a matron figure to Sabine? Also, it wasn’t mentioned here but I think it’s likely that the lone wolf inquisitor with the droid is likely either Barris or Ezra. I think could be pretty cool to see Barris. That was spoken too fast without enough time/breaks between all the events for anyone to absorb and mentally digest all the info. The IGN recap was a bit better in being slower and less overwhelming to listen to. Thanks for the information! I'm probably not gonna watch that show now. Might be too much narrative to say No I don't know about Mortis? To me this is critical This was only missing the Mortis arch. What made Ahsoka work? She made mistakes...she wasn't perfect. Sounds like Ashoka's survival was retconned for the new shows and she actually died in the temple. They haven't ruined Ahsoka yet. They should ruin her character too just to be fair to the others. It's like poetry, they must rhyme. Good job. Im sure it took some time to sync your narrative with the video clips. Much better video than wasn't recent screen crush recap. a What made Ahsoka work? She made mistakes...she wasn't perfect George Lucas himself said if it didn't happen in the movies, none of the novels or other material were canon. Everyone likes to say Disney made these works non-canon but they were never cannon in the first place. IMO, the only series left to salvage the star wars lore is the sequel trilogy. Star Wars Clone Wars did exactly that for the prequel trilogy.
Great, all-inclusive video! Thank you for this! Liked, Subbed and shared!
Amazing job, thank you for this video!
Good job. Im sure it took some time to sync your narrative with the video clips. Much better video than yhr recent screen crush recap.
That was very helpful, thanks!
Correction: Maul doesnt displace Bo Katan from her rightful rule of Mandalore, he rightfullys earns rule due to winning the darksaber duel with pre viszla
Still watching the cartoon version of ahsoka and the live action one too
Would love to see an entire live action remake series of movies covering the Star Wars stories with Ashoka as the main character.
This is great
As iv pointed out before ..era pulling ahsoka out before vader killed her wouldn't of happened...in the episode of theor fight at the end ahsoka is clearly seen walking deeper in to the sith temple ..so she survived the fight
2012 R.I.P.
Ahsoka should make a cameo in the Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor series, and team up with Cal Kestis, that would be sick
My girl and I just finished Rebels. Her first time watching.
We got done a couple weeks ago and she asked y we watched it and can't watch more now. 😂
I just said end of August. Lol
Ahsoka telling Anakin "this isn't about you" will always be so funny to me not only because of his ego and literally being the "chosen one" but also because the story is still very much about him even long after he is dead 😂
Actully no its not all about anakin some are about others
@grimmrefertheJedi I'm sorry, remind me again why Kylo Ren became who he was and did what he did? Oh right it was because he wanted to finish his Grandfathers work. It all still even in the new movies goes back to him. There is a reason why they had his helmet in the sequels.
@@toriandtilly that was stupid
Huh? She's saying "this isn't about you" in reference to HER leaving the Jedi Order. That part of the story isn't about Anakin.
@user-vi4xy1jw7e Yes I understand that... I meant the overall story of Star Wars in general, not that specific part. Also it is a joke. Don't take it too seriously.
Nice video
Good recap.
Can anyone tell me which episode / show is the On The Run chapter from ?
Good resume.
when does ahsoka drop?
@@ncard00
No mention of the purple guy?
excellent!
THAAANK YOOOU
Are these all clips from the clone wars?
Thanks for the information! I'm probably not gonna watch that show now. Might be too much narrative
Since the “daughter” (the Light side of the Force ) infused Ashoka with her life essence and brought her back to life , Ashoka has become more important and more powerful in the grand story of StarWars .
Thanks for the video. I just don't have time to watch all of the series you laid out here lol...
I wonder if Bariss' mind got corrupted by those worm parasites from Geonosis, that got in her brain after the destruction of the droid weapons factory, which her and Ahsoka actually destroyed?!!!
Felt like you missed the Mortis Arc which is a huge part of Ahsokas arc
so basically it starts Ashoka and then you tell us the whole plot to rebels. Rebels is the best SW show ever. The best story and characters.
I'd love to see how got Mara Jade is
Amazingly I dont need a single recap of anything from the #EvilestCorporationOnEarth and its dead, ill gotten IP. RIP Starwars, 10.31.2012
If you don't watch it your memorys of star wars will be better 👍
15:48 I’m still trying to determine where in the time line Ahsoka originally starts training Sabine as a Jedi? Is there a short, a book, or anything that covers that timeframe?
I'm assuming we'll learn more about it as the Ashoka show goes on. That was a surprise to me.
If you've got no beskar around and are being attacked with a lightsaber, you fight back with the one you've been holding sentimentally 😂
It was a surprising scene but I think that was the point. She has been depressed and doesn't have her fighting spirit until the end of episode 2. Otherwise her hair wouldn't have been so long.
That was spoken too fast without enough time/breaks between all the events for anyone to absorb and mentally digest all the info. The IGN recap was a bit better in being slower and less overwhelming to listen to.
The narrator's voice in this video sounds like voice actor Justin Cook.
Ashoka freed Maul internationally to buy time.
So many questions
You have some incorrect things said in this video
This was only missing the Mortis arch
I thought darth maul was dead in episode one???? How is he still living through all these stories & where is obi wan in relation?
Hope _Ahsoka_ has appearances by Hayden & Ewan.
Not unless it's flashbacks, Both Obi Wan and Vader are dead by the time that the Ahsoka series is taking place.
No Mortis? To me this is critical
Please...Ezra become canon Starkiller
When referring to age of any creature within this universe, if you refer to a creature as being 14 years old. Is that 14 Earth years? As each Lifeforms Originating Planet has it’s own unique cycle around it’s key Celestial Body which in turn has its own unique cycle around the Galactic Core, every creature ages at it’s own rate. Such as Grogu being a 50 year old toddler. How can age ever be properly referenced? Both Ashoka and Anakin originated on unique home worlds only to relocate to Corsicant. 3 Different Planetary Bodies with 3 Unique Cycles, thus leaving them to be biologically how old? If I am me and my cat were Ashoka, would it be fair to reference my cat as being 14 Years Old in Human Years or for a better understanding of my fuzzy friend should I only be referring to him in Cat Years at about 56? 🤔
Can't Ahsoka use the World between Worlds to solve all her problems on this show? Hell she could open a portal below the window Mace flew out of and grab him.
“Barely legal in most systems…”💀💀💀
Thrawn had been thrown away for long
Star Wars figures / lightsabers on my vinted 👍🏻👍🏻 link in my video descriptions✅

Anyone using term “woke” casually and negatively is an incel. Don’t sweat them.
Its gonna be woke, Disney cant help themselves.
Yawn, another baby whining about "woke". GTFU child.
Yeah this will age like cheese in the summer sun.
@yusufraage8554 💯 %. Kennedy is a twat. This looks like a 90% female universe 😂. Could at least make it a bit more realistic.
Hopefully it's good though 🤞. There's Been so many low points lately.
🎉
You know I kind of wish Disney never decanonized the old timeline as far as the extended universe but I can see why they did it so they could start from scratch I guess but it really kind of messed up a lot of things to in some ways but I enjoy the New Canon to
I'm not watching this movie, it is going to bomb
I like how out of nowhere he just starts spoiling Ashoka the show???
Note: This series is yet another in the long line of media wherein men are relegated to "fool" or "evil" roles only. The crew of the Ghost is featured but the show is careful not to include any male members. It still has good production value, excellent stunt and fighting sequences and great effects. The story is a bit formulaic but its very watchable. It's unfortunate the narrative is "girl-bosses" only. But there is definitely an audience for that.
Heaven forbid that amongst the likes of Andor, The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi Wan, Solo etc... they produce one series with a female main character that spends most of her time with female companions :O
Incel mindset.
Thanks but Star Wars Official just published a 30 sec from Dawson herself😂
Which showed us NONE of Ahsoka’s journey throughout animation… Yes it was only 30 seconds, but found the time to show Revenge of The Sith clips which Ahsoka is not in…
I personally prefer this 16 minute DETAILED explanation of Ahsoka’s story that shows AND tells us why people fell in love with her in the first place.
Thanks commenter but the Dawson Recap literally shows nothing.
She called Anakin a Jedi master so not exactly the best source of a recap lmao
@@SamuelSavelithat's the joke
Rebels is so uninteresting if not for Ahsoka's inclusion
This was great except for the last jedi crud
Recap: Return of the Jedi was the last Star Wars film.
The Only Star Wars Recap You Need Before Watching Ahsoka...watch the last jedi and your good to go ! PFFFFF ! Its pissing time !
What made Ahsoka work? She made mistakes...she wasnt perfect
True. I'm just watching for original character mentions/cameos
Well we all know Disney KK has killed Star Wars, this will be no different. Do not know how they had the balls to state everything done between the films and them taking over was none Canon when the vast majority of it is better than anything they have done, including all the novels etc.
Another thing is incorrect. Ahsoka in fact breaks maul out, to use him as a distraction for her and Rex to escape. Did you even watch the series?
Yall are a bunch of shills. Your thirst for ahsoka has blinded you. Youre actively uplifting the very people that have torn down our lore and lexicon.
