I don’t understand why fired the person who took the Company from the ground up 😒
Scott D'Amore was fired, but it wasn't business related. Thats why everyone is so caught off guard. Nothing in the preceeding timeframe shows anything amiss. No backstage meeting with talent or any public comments either. This was an unplanned sudden change and this might take Mr D'Amore himself to explain it
If I was Anthem I would sell the company to Scott D'Amore. If Anthem wants nothing to do with TNA they should sell the company to Scott D'Amore
Agreed but then they maybe wouldn’t be on AXIS. What network would take them in the short term
@@Amir_arabian2000 TNA plus until they find a network that is willing to air impact
I read Scott D'Amore tried to they said no
Samesies. I'd do that in a heartbeat.
I think they might be looking for a bigger deal, like selling to AEW or WWE.
Scott is the creative mind TK needs for his company
For ROH.
@@johnnymittle Dynamite & Collision need help too
The TNA creative team are still there. It wreaked of D'Amore putting himself over.
@@JAClipsReal Nah, they are running great.
He was the reason why wwe and tna were making a partnership
Best opportunity for TK to hire Scott d'more and make him the head booker for AEW. Do it TK please
Yes!!!
Please man. These random fucking matches is not it
All Elite Wrestling & Ring of Honor Booking/Creative/Writing Committee:
[1]. Jeff Jarrett
[2]. Steve "Sting" Braden
[3]. Scott D'Amore
[4]. Arn Anderson
[5]. Dean Molenko
[6]. Jerry Lynn
Go one further.
Hire Scott D'Amore as head booker, buy all TNA assets from Anthem, do a storyline where TNA takes over AEW (including having every main eventer besides Kenny and MJF defect to TNA), have the TNA side win and rebrand the company into TNA, and *terminate all management/talent dual contracts so nobody gets to even THINK they're "the boys running the boys" backstage anymore.*
He’ll never let go of booking duties he wants all the credit
Absolutely agree! Bring him in, do a brand split in AEW and have him/and Danielson maybe run one brand while TK runs the other.
Regarding the letting go of D'Amore: It sounds like it was an ego thing on the part of Anthem--like a "how dare you tell me how to run my own company" type of argument. It doesn't appear to have any logic to it, apparently it was just a knee-jerk reaction. Apparently Anthem viewed him as a threat to their own power.
You know TNA is truly back when you question there decisions
😂
AEW needs to scoop him up and find a way to sign Moose
@@writersredux8425 moose has said in recent days that of D'amore is gone, he's gone. Look for moose to ask for his release/retirement.
Endeavor does tna streaming service
Moose probably gonna go MLW.
There were rumors that wrestlers right now can just ask for their realese. I wonder how many people will stay
Moose sucks keep him away from AEW
Tony khan should hire him. Add him to his team.
He should make Scott D'Amore an EVP
I agree
Nah, I can see Scott D'Amore going to WWE, once TKO eliminate whoever is involved in Vince McMahon's scandals. There's going to be a lot of job opportunities available in WWE. Who knows D'Amore might apply for Bruce Prichard's position.
@@JAClipsReal Make D'Amore an EVP and demote the Young Dumbfucks from their EVP roles. The company has too many EVPs as it is!
My friend texted me the day it happened. I was so confused on why Anthem would fire Scott but I figured it was planned a while before it actually happened.
It really doesn’t make any sense… after everything Scott did to revive the brand
I started rewatching TNA last year. I don't have AXS, so i signed up to TNA's youtube membership so i could watch the weekly show. It was a fun watch since they feel like an underdog brand. Almost no drama like AEW/WWE. ROH is in a similar boat with the exception that they lean on AEW too much.
Potential Opportunity for Scott there. Maybe even add some Yellow to ROH. Lol
Crazy how they used him to bring back and announce the return TNA but then fire him!

scott D'amore getting fired by TNA caught me off guard especially since he's been there since 2003 scott was a great part of team canada does he go to AEW or does he go to WWE hopefully TNA gets somebody with a wrestling background to run their creative awesome OTS Xtra JD You're the best.
This smells bad. Maybe they 86'd Scott and blocked his purchase of TNA and fired him because they have someone else interested in buying TNA for a higher offer?
Scott D'Amore's firing from TNA makes no sense. And if Anthem Sports wants nothing to do with TNA, then D'Amore can save up money and buy the rights to TNA. I liked TNA back when it was originally owned by the Jarretts.
Anthem was better off selling TNA to D'Amore. Scott D'Amore would've had TNA on a network that more people can watch. This is going to bite Anthem hard and I think D'Amore will either buy another company or start a brand new promotion. He already knows that a majority of TNA wrestlers will following him wherever he goes.
I think he should start a brand new promotion
yeah but what was the reason for his firing?
The ratings weren’t going up… I’m not surprised he got fired

He probably got fired for dating Shaw….international market kept impact afloat before anthem came!!! People forget tna has a huge international market
I don't think it is a Vince situation especially how the ladies and gents were upset about his departure.
No disrespect but I'll never understand Podcasters saying "I don't watch this company but I'm gonna give my opinions on them". Obviously for the clicks. I'm a realively small podcaster with 7k subs. I don't watch WWE so I didn't feel it was my place to weigh in on Vince McMahon or the Rock or Cody or whatever. I mean this is a good rant and I agree but still. Sounds like he's justifying not watching TNA because Scott was fired (I don't think he really cares that much) but way worse has happened at aew and wwe however that's where the clicks are at. Just crazy the small justifications people make to not watch when all things relative, it's better than what AEW is putting out.
Why are you telling me what you do? I don’t care. You do you, I do what I need. This is a major story. I’m not the only podcaster who doesn’t watch TNA that covered this story. This is something that will affect TNA and whoever lands Scott D’Amore.
Great point.
@@JDfromNY no one was telling you what to do lol.
Sounds like Anthem wants a low budget, small venue/studio show like a NWA and wants it more for programming than trying to grow company and making them a true competitor to AEW or WWE.
Anthem spent money you can't accuse them of not spending it.
@sickpup820 and if you listened, Scott wanted them to raise the budget and they said he's already spending too much. Yes they have spent some money but nowhere near amount it would take to truly compete with the big companies.
Moose said without scot ad more he won't stay in tna JD💪🎙️
TOny Khan must hire Scott ...NOW!!!!
So, Cody hit the head of Anthem with a Cross-Rhodes and he fired D’Amore for it? Strange.
Anthem wants TNA to stay the same, Scott wants TNA to expand and grow beyond the Anthem network. So he had to go.
Anthem Sports and Entertainment may have sabotaged their own rebrand of their promotion, however Anthem Sports and Entertainment is watching every dollar that goes into TNA Wrestling and Scott D'Amore pretty much wanted Anthem to spend more to compete with Tony Khan and Endeavor.
Scott D'Amore was reportedly attempting to buy TNA Wrestling from Anthem as well as reported the Scott D'Amore threatened to quit TNA Wrestling unless changes were made. It looks like Anthem felt that Scott was not a team player and with trying to buy Anthem Sports and Entertainment he could not be trusted. From the outside looking in, it looks like Leonard Asper (CEO and founder of Anthem) wanted more of control (I mean he owns TNA) wanted until Scott D'Amore builded up Impact Wrestling, help rebrand Impact back to TNA, make TNA more profitable and as soon as Scott did that, either Leonard Asper and/or Ed Nordholm showed Scott D'Amore the door.
I wonder what this means for TNA Plus be distributed by Endeavor and will we see Scott D'Amore as an executive or booker for Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling (Scott D'Amore are good friends with Jeff Jarrett and Don Collis at AEW) and Ring of Honor, an executive/President for Court Bauer's Major League Wrestling or a executive/Vice President for William Patrick Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance???
NWA is a you tube joke
@@BobMckinseyunfortunately yes. William Patrick Corgan has turned the National Wrestling Alliance into a parody of what it once was.
Maybe Scott D'Amore tried to save TNA Wrestling from being sold to either Endeavor TKO or Tony Khan.
How about Scott D'Amore being the President of Major League Wrestling to assist MLW owner Court Bauer?
D'Amore becoming a booker for anyone would be a step down. His talents would be ownership. Anything less than that, i wouldn't leave my couch.
He and Jeff Jarrett could get together and run Global Wrestling
I’m subscribed to the TNA+ App… Thats how I watched TNA on a weekly basis… And they’re PPV’s. If someone else buys TNA from Anthem please re-hire Scott D’Amore! That man was TNA 20+ Years.
I do believe Scott Dmore could have made changes and without being held back could have helped TNA really move forward, now what ever ideas Scott had that were shot down ,Anthem will now use those ideas as there own
That's jacked up he did a damn good job brought them through the storm and the rain got them on top of there game. just a damn shame I love his passion about Tna. when he was wrestling with team Canada just sad somebody will get him Tk or HHH 💯✊🏿
Wait until Endeavor pushes Triple H out of WWE by the end of the year and you will see a similar pattern going on there
Yep all this credit HHH is getting fans don't realize TKO is going to clean up house of all people close to McMahon and that INCLUDES Triple H
@@RexJacobus-bb1vwif Triple H is fired ever it would be because they don’t like his creative. That be Ari firing him. Not because of anything to do with Vince because Vince and Triple H butted heads. Triple H stayed away from anything Vince did. So you’re misinformed guy.
@@nerycas7 they can dig up shit from his relationship with Chyna if they wanted to in order to get rid of him. The Rock is squeaky clean that's why he's placed on the board. HHH is on a thin line. He and Dwayne butted heads in the past. It's obvious the Anoi/Maivia family is the new Royal family surpassing the McMahon's. Since Stephanie and Shane have all cut ties, the McMahon regime is finished and soon to be erased from wrestling history.
@@RexJacobus-bb1vw well yes that’s they can dig anything with Rock now on the board.
Pretty shitty way to treat the guy responsible for TNA's return to prominence.
Be best for the Wrestling landscape if TK hires him and it means AEW ups its game creatively and at least poses some kind of threat to WWE.
I'm down in NO, and was excited to see the product in person, but gonna save the cash now. I am torn because I want to support the talent, but the only way they are going to get the message from fans is from the way of the wallet. I'm hesitant on TK's ability to forego his ego and allow anyone else to be a decision-maker, even though it clearly would be for the best.
How to turn your entire roster against you, lie about firing the one guy that was keeping the company together, way to go Anthem
I hope D'Amore starts his own company or helps AEW get it shit together.
They Did Scott D'amore Dirty!
Scott should buy ring of honor from tony khan
I hope Scott doesn’t go to aew. As much as that would be great creative wise but Tony Khan is another Vince. His way or no way. He isn’t gonna step aside. The creative there is in the toilet. Look at how many great minds are there or have been there. He won’t allow Scott to make the product better. The “he should go to aew” line makes me cringe.
What’s the music at the beginning?
Power of the saber blade by Dragonforce
JD wants answers and I’m here for it
IF Scott is clean, TK needs to get on the phone with him immediately
Tony Khan signing Scott D'Amore would be a bigger business move than Tony Khan signing Okada and Mercedes Mone combined.
Jordynne Grace, Moose & Nic Nemeth would be a certain to sign with Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor if Tony Khan signs Scott D'Amore.
it would be a big business move for Tony Khan to sign Scott . he was willing to listen to wrestling people, people who have a wrestling background. And from what I am hearing, he doesn't. He just pays these wrestling people mucho dinero to a part of his company so he can say he had this guy or that guy as a manager or TV figurehead.
Anthem should spend money on building a proper location for their wrestling tv show. That cramped tv studio they film their show in makes the whole production feel small and amateurish. Talk all the trash you want about the Jeff Jarrett and Dixie eras of TNA, at least the Impact Zone looked like a proper wrestling venue on tv. Anthem should take a page from the Von Erichs who built an entire mini-arena for their World Class Championship Wrestling promotion in Texas.
Damn lol sucks for Nic Nemeth
they were all hyped thinking TNA was back again just to kill the promotion all over again. 😂😂
Anthem have secretly agreed to sell TNA to WWE that was the reason Anthem rejected the takeover bid
Scott needs to go to AEW. He would be a tremendous help to TK with so many different aspects, thus helping make AEW better for us fans and for the employees and talent. Any company would be lucky to have him, no matter where he ends up.
Tommy and Gail are likely middle management, who will have to serve up shit soup and call it gumbo.
They will sell it I guarantee within the next year it will be owned by a mcmahon
Anybody heard about a internet.
It’s widely known that Scott is in a relationship with Impact TNA talent Giselle Shaw who recently came out as transgender, hopefully Anthem didn’t hold that against him/them In their decision to terminate him, Hmmm, SMH in 2024
😂😳 now that is the first I've heard of this!! That's exactly the reason for his termination
@@RexJacobus-bb1vw it’s no secret, if Anthem let Scott go because of something in his PERSONAL life that hasn’t affected his Professional life then it’s despicable! No ones business
AXS probably has 250,000 to 300,000 viewers at most. It's been on the decline since 2014 when cable and satellite providers started dropping it. Even at its worst, G4 version 2.0 still had more viewership than AXS.
Moose signed like a 7yr deal ouch
Preparation H is in the Anthem Zone
It definitely seems like is a corporate vs wrestling booker clash ala Jim Herd/Dusty in 89 or even Bischoff/AOL in 99, both with corporately owned WCW. With corporate side winning and now just trying to make TNA/Impact a corporate portfolio asset, but one that is tighten and ran with budget mindset.
I've been waiting all week for this, what a great vid
Could this have anything to do with axs not being available on fios anymore? Not sure how. Just suspicious timing. 🤔
I can see Tony K. getting him like you said but I can see Paul L. getting him if TKO is draining the pond.
How do they expect to make more money if they do not book larger venues?
Thanks for the updates and information
Thank you JD for covering story tna Scott d
Wwe should replace Pritchard with Scott
That would be 🔥🔥🔥
How long before WWE or AEW purchase TNA and it's tape library?
Triple H needs to get Scott D'Amore in such a big way. He is so good as a GM. I would love a smartass as the GM in RAW or Smackdown. Make it happen. Im so bored with Nick Aldis already, get Scott in here.
do they think they actually gonna find a another scott d amore an who wants the runs this company after firing him for some bs whos been with the wrestling buisness an has ran tna to where it is they think there gonna be better off with out him pls
Deleting away what made TNA stand out and what made some fans came out back to the product was the worst decision Anthem has ever decided on like Scott was the heart and soul of TNA. God help us all.
Well, it looks like TNA is gonna go back to how it was from 2016-2020. Not that it was good before Anthem took over, but when they started taking over, those first few years were brutal. Scott came in and changed things for the better, stupid move firing him.
Jordan Grace would be a good addition to NXT and a future women’s champion
I could also see WWE replacing Bruce Prichard with Scott D'Amore since Ari Emmanuel said he wants to clean house of anybody who was close with Vince McMahon
I can't see Tony Khan voluntarily giving up power but Scott Damore would be a great hire for AEW. They've already got Jeff Jarrett on the payroll and are doing nothing with him. Most likely I think WWE will sign him and he'll be HHH's number two.
i want to wait and see if more comes out with this story. something stinks about scott d'amore just suddenly being fired out of the blue. something had to have been found out. if not than anthem are run by a bunch of idiots but for me something had to have been discovered
The TNA curse strikes again! As soon as they start to get some positiveness and goodwill something stupid happens and fucks it all up. Scott worked his arse off and lived for that company, it's utterly bizarre!
Facts. Scott D’More would help AEW get their stuff together.
I can see Scott D'Amore going to WWE, once TKO eliminate whoever is involved in Vince McMahon's scandals. There's going to be a lot of job opportunities available in WWE. Who knows D'Amore might apply for Bruce Prichard's position.
What amazes me is that TNA/Impact/NWATNA have been going since 2002 and have had some high highs and some low lows. Through all of it, somehow they still kept going. They've had quite the longevity despite not always being financially successful. They just rebranded to TNA again and now they fire one of their more beloved employees. Odd, but not sure where they go now in my head
TNA helped Matt Hardy years back. And many others. Now Anthem has dug the grave for TNA after everything that company had thrown at it. The very company that owns it will be the final nail.
Funny how they just started working with endeavor/ tko/wwe and now he got fired.
It just really sucks that D’Amore has been fired by the people who’ve directly benefited from his years of hard work to keep that company alive. Hopefully TK picks up the phone!!
I just started watching TNA wrestling after all of those years and they get rid of the most important man that they have in this company it just does not make any sense I guarantee you a lot of those wrestlers are going to leave and go somewhere else like AEW or WWE the question is what did he do? Hopefully we get more info on this channel.🤔
Moose just signed the longest contract in tna history literally 2 weeks ago
My take on the whole Scotty D situation is, well first and foremost I think it fucking sucks he’s gone! I share everyone’s feelings about that. The guy WAS TNA, lived and breathed everything TNA and I think Anthem will soon realize they made a mistake if they haven’t realized it already!
But… it’s being reported that he was asking for more budget and more money which I think is true. I just don’t believe Anthem flat out said NO. From what I read in their press release was that they want TNA to be more closely aligned with Anthems umbrella so TnA could utilize their resources more. To me that means utilize their money and marketing. Maybe Scott and Anthem didn’t agree on WHAT the money should be spent on? It just sounds like Anthem didn’t mind pouring some money into the company but they wanted final say on what it’s spent on. I can’t see Anthem cutting budget when they clearly seen the success of the relaunch of TNA and Hard to Kill. Why wouldn’t they wanna capitalize on that momentum going forward? They must have some kind of business sense right?
I think we all should take a wait and see approach here. Give it a chance. I know it sucks that Scott is gone but we need to continue to support TNA. It’s what Scott would want. Who knows…. Maybe this may turn out to be a positive thing.
Just my two cents…
Kevin Dunn has just entered the room
Jordynne Grace's TNA contract is up in August 2025. She will be WWE bound next year. Moose has signed a long term contract as has Josh Alexander. There's other young talent like Mike Bailey, Trey Miguel, Zack Wentz, Chris Bey, Ace Austin, Masha Slamovich & Tasha Steelz that would be eyed up.
I’m adding this to my bingo card
Anthem starts loosing more than it is worth to keep TNA.
They sell it to ENDAVOR TNA becomes a 3rd brand under TKO Groupholdings.
Under this trio they ll work as separate brands except were endavor has those roles and dont need several ppl with same job.
This would open the door to more of. Friendly big brother little brother dynamic with WWE & TNA.
It would be far more KAYFEB(realistic) to have Moose come target Rollins or reigns than it would to have someone like Connor McGegror wrestle
I think TK needs to be on the phone ASAP and get scott in AEW as his right hand man and take over creative duty's
Aew needs scott to run creative like regal did! DO IT TK!
After my research, the only people that get access tv Easily is Swing TV users.
Make Scott D’more the AEW President. TK need help running it andddd ROH.
I get impact every Thursday on a channel called fight network through optimum in New York don’t have axs tv
Hire D'Amore TK.
I've been saying this week that they felt Scott was becoming synonymous with TNA and decided to get rid of him
He needs to go to AEW, I think they need em more than WWE, he'd get lost in the shuffle over there
Names ????????
There was friction between Anthem mgmt because they thought Scott about Scott's requests for increasing budget spending... Like trying to bring in Braun Strowman during 2021/2022... And Scott tried to buy them... So Anthem probably didn't like TNA was trying to be purchased, mgmt normally doesn't like it when they know that their internal staff is talking to outside 3rd parties... Because sometimes there are negative feelings with mgmt and the same staff member trying to buy the company after a failed purchase...
I mean if AXS TV actually had great programming outside of wrestling, I would understand them wanting TNA to stay there. But they never made any effort to make it a great network with cool shit. Att least if they could buy a film liibrary and put it there. Maybe get the licensing of old TV shows like Sopranos, Mad Men, etc...
On the wrestling front, forget Tommy Drreamer, I would bring Terry Taylor as booker.
Have Scott go to Smackdown to be GM. That way Nick can wrestle again.
What if they sell back to Dixie
