Edit and Update: I tried this and it works like a charm! A few suggestions- make sure your parts going back are about the same width as your pony tail will be. If your hair is in layers (like mine) your shorter hair may stick out so make your parts going back bigger (if that make sense) so your ponytail will be more uniform. Finally it may take a few times to get it but this works best on blow out hair or freshly flat ironed hair. I wouldn't try it in my naturally kinky hair...can we say boss level of frustration?? All the best!

Naturals do this with the puff. Instead of the pony tight, just loosely band the hair making your afropuff look tripple the size. Also banana claws.lol

One-of the many things I don’t miss about relaxers is having an effed up puna and having to look to UA-cam to find a simple way to do a pony’s tail. Pros of having natural hair have a huge high puff stretched to the gods. 🙌🏽
