Thank you Fletcher Farms, Thank you Julie x
Well, that's just the way the world is nowadays towards horses once their broken or old and worn down or get sick off to the slaughterhouse they all go to become dog food for dogs to eat or glue and I think some people even eat their meat.
Right? Imagine turning it around. Work your entire life looking forward to retirement - downtime, a bit of traveling and time with family/friends. And instead you’re slaughtered after your exciting last work day. Horrible.
@@Alex-ft1df yes sadly they ship horses live overseas to Japan to become horse sushi (eaten raw), for Rich people. $100 a plate. Thats why they send them live. Its a delicacy there. Thank you Julie & Corey for starting this foundation. The whole Fletcher Farms Community is absolutely amazing & never fail to dig deep when it’s needed the most. I crr every time I watch a freedom ride but today I bawled because of Princess Penelope. That beautiful little baby was going to die for no other reason than she has a bum leg. The absolute injustice of this makes me wanna rage but she will now know love, compassion and respect because she was rescued by BHF. I hope she becomes a total diva and runs the farm like her own little kingdom. Thank you for saving this precious little girl and all of the others. They now have lives of comfort, love and respect and that is EVERYTHING!! Thank you!!!
that bum leg turned out to be her salvation - a gift for sure - now she'll know love - without the bum leg who knows what kind of life, if any, she would have
What a cruel life that baby filly had. Recently weaned, shipped to auction, injured somewhere along the way and soon to be on a truck to Mexico. Thank you so much for taking her. Someone kind, moral and responsible needed to step,up to amend for the cruelty of mankind. ❤️
Knowing the Amish like we do and how they feel horses are disposable after they're used up-she was probably injured on their farm. Amish NEVER ship a good horse young or old to auction that can be worked until it drops.
If it’s an injury, how, how does a baby suffer that type of hurt? Ahh, poor sweet Penelope. She was exhausted and knew she was in a safe place to be able to rest. Too young to be so cruelly discarded. Thank you for rescuing her and “thank God” the 27 that were dumped were ALL rescued! Heartfelt thanks to all the other rescuers.
For me, the thing that stands out the most is how quickly the horses come to love Julie. They haven't been on the farm very long, but Olivia and Piper already are following her, wanting pets. And you see it in the field too, whenever Julie goes out there, one of the horses will come and hang their head over her shoulder for pets. That to me tells the level of compassion and love they are receiving. Thank you Julie, Corey, and everyone else at Fletcher Farm Amarillo and the Big Hoof Foundation. You have truly put your hearts in these rescues.
Thank you so much for saving this sweethearts, aww Penelope how a sweet girl she is! She already trust you at the first day, she knows you saved herLoves from the Netherlands

So cool how these horses get saved and well cared for in their retirement. You are truly doing God’s work. 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Thanks for everything you all do for these wonderful horses. 😊👍👍
Seeing that baby Appy and all the other babies (There were quite a lot of young ones this time) made my heart clench. I wish we could just scoop them all up and save them. Thank you for saving so many. That Belgian baby...4 months is WAY TO EARLY too wean...and then they just left her there, alone and in pain. I'm SO glad she's safe now.
Thank you for rescuing the baby, P. Penny, along with the 2 year -old gelding and all of the other older horses. Honestly, you are doing God's work, is the best way I can phrase it. So grateful for your charity and wish there were many, many more like you. 💖💖

With rescue dogs I always tell people it can take up to a year for them to feel safe enough to sleep with both eyes shut. Penelope figured out right away that she was in a safe place. God bless you. Blessings that her youth will allow healing of her leg,
Oh My Heart 💗 Princess Penelope 💗 she is So sweet, resting her tired little self and body. She just knows she’s in a safe place with that Angel voice and gentle hand stroking her little face. Just pulls on the old ❤️ strings for sure. Thanks Julie for update and bringing all those beauties “Home”. What a beautiful place for them. Home. No sweeter sounding word 🥰.

Hi Julie from Melbourne, Australia - firstly a big thank you to YOU for what you do best in rescuing these amazing horses (it takes someone with a HUGE HEART to do this) and secondly thank you so much to the generous people that donate to your rescue of these beautiful horses. I am only a pensioner (so I don't have extra money to help you, sorry) but I continue to buy the occassional lottery ticket in hope that I can win BIG so then I can send a big chunk of money to you for this rescue purpose. Please keep doing what you do best and take care of yourself and the whole team there, okay
Oh, I am so pleased and relived that all of them got saved! I've been thinking about those poor babies a lot and, if I lived in the US, would've moved heaven and earth to rescue them myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you rescuers. Happy days ahead, for them and for you.
Poor poor horses I can't even imagine being there and thank you for doing what you do. I wish I had the land to do the same but I don't have a lot of money but can still squeeze out a few bucks here and there for Rescue
I love horses 🐎 I was raised on horses at the age of 7 years old. Trained ground working them, breaking them, showed, cow pinned, pole bending, barrel raising, polo. Horses are a beautiful animal ❤ thank you for rescuing these prescious horses 🐎 🙏
Hard to find some words... Thank you for saving them, especially the fillie 💜 She's at the very beginning of her life and already had been so much through... poor little girl! Hopefully her leg can be cured again... she must be in pain so much... praying for her and all the other poor horses❣️ Thank you, Julie, for everything you are doing for them❣️❣️❣️
I'm so thankful you were able to save these horses! At 1st I couldn't understand why the Amish were dumping so many of their "working staff"." As it turns out, many aren't farming, due to government interference. I just watched an article on youtube about it!

Thank you SO, SOOO very very much for rescuing these sweet babies‼️😊 I just recently learned of the mistreatment of many draft horses in certain communities and it absolutely blows my mind n sickens me‼️😡😔😥 I was under the impression that these horses are necessary for certain lifestyles and I would think they’d be better cared for n not abused n neglected as I’ve seen of recent. You are truly a blessing to these wonderful works of God’s creation❣️ Thank you for doing what you do‼️😊💜🙏💜😊 I love how God uses us humans to be angels n helpers for those in need❣️😊💜🙏💜😊
Thank You for rescuing these beautiful horses, they all deserve to live out life in pastures after all they were work horses, besides such regal, animals can fit on a farm as a companion for a farmers kids and a sanctuary is wonderful too, never slaughter, they are to special , to blessed for a trip to Mexico and that, I've seen it and it is brutal, kindness is the only option, so with deepest appreciation, THANK YOU!!
You are a wonderful ❤️ compassionate horse lady 😊 I love the smell of horses always have always will. I wish there was a perfume smelling of horses. Iwas fortunate to have other people's horses to work with and ride. The first couple that took me under their wing considered me they're granddaughter. All of their kids were scattered throughout the US and didn’t get to see them much. I was hugely blessed that grandpa didn't break them like most did in the 50s. He taught me to understand understand their emotional needs and really the way they are trained now. My dad didn't understand why I loved them so much. He grew up on a farm and they really broke😢 them. By the time I came around the horses were gone. He was a man with a soft heart but he had been thrown a lot and forced back on while breaking them. Of course since they were treated badly they bit them every chance they got and were punished 😢. My dad's dad was a big tough guy. Animals were tools and paychecks. He had no room for kindness except for his dog, and that wasn’t often that I saw. We were forbidden from going into the Sow's and the Bull's pasture. Good advice. He was the only one who ventured in with a timbertree over his shoulder. When they charged he hit them over the head and knocked them to the ground. They lived in a really small farming community. One blacksmith, one country store, one church and 5 bars. It was a wild place. When the James gang came to town stayed on grandpa and grandma's front yard which was right in view of all the action. I don't know why I told you all of this, diarrhea of the finger I guess. God bless you and the work you do.
Heartbreaking that these beautiful creatures are seen as disposable income. We humans are truly vile. Thank you for caring enough to try to make a difference. ❤

My heart breaks every time I watch these. I cannot fathom how people consider these beautiful animals a throw away commodity. Watching the heard come in and seeing the stunning riding horses that would end up in the pipeline is so emotional for me. 💔

Heartfelt thanks to all the other rescuers.
maybe kicked by a larger horse on the trailer

@@ginavoneiff1575 😞😫 without mommy to protect her. Such unmitigated cruelty to inflict on one so young. Sweet darling. Burns me to my core.
Deepest gratitude for saving the horses...bless you immensely...
@ginavoneiff15😅75
Thank You All for what You do for so many ...🙏❤💕
It’s good to hear some positive news for a change. Thank you
The filly is going to be fun to watch grow up. Bless you for her rescue.
You got yourself a sweet baby girl! Thank you for taking the poor little thing😊
Absolutely true! I notice the same thing always.
I noticed that also, their eyes soften and their heads drop a tiny bit sometimes. So sweet and cute, they love her, and trust her. 💕
Amen
❤
They're grateful too. Horses are smart.
Thank you for all you do to save these beautiful horses.❤️🙏
Horses are angels without wings God Bless Fletcher Farms and everyone that donated ya’ll are making a difference in the lives of these animals

Thank you for saving all those beautiful horses!!🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Wow…never had you ever thought you’d go from a few to a giant herd? Freeeeeeking awesome! 🎉🎉🎉. I hope the filly’s leg is manageable or repairable. 🙏💕
Julie you are truly amazing
That baby girl had me in tears. What a rough time she’s had of it. All the others are so beautiful. Thank you so much for saving them.
OMG, you are truly Angels for these horses. Thank you from my heart for all that you do. May God bless you and all your staff and the horses that come into your loving care.
Wow. All of those drafts horses are absolutely beautiful and well behaved. That man sure knows horses and I think that’s the biggest horse trailer I’ve ever seen.
That's what I thought! She is way too young to have been weaned.
Thank you for rescuing the baby, P. Penny, along with the 2 year -old gelding and all of the other older horses. Honestly, you are doing God's work, is the best way I can phrase it. So grateful for your charity and wish there were many, many more like you. 💖💖
Thankyou and everyone involved ❤. So hard to see all the other horses waiting there fate i just get so sick to my stomach thinking about them and not being able to help them😢😢😢😢😢. At least you guys get some of them ot of there thankyou again ❤❤❤❤❤.
Thank you sooo much for rescuing these boys and girls.
Really love to follow your story. So glad you are doing a great work and a keenly developed eyes for the horses' needs. As an equestrienne, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for the kind words. We are so grateful for your support!
Julie you and everyone involved in the big hoof foundation are just an amazing bunch of people, and I am over the moon that all of the colts, fillies, geldings and mares were rescued, l hope that it’s nothing too serious with sweet Penelope and the others, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Fantastic work Julie. I've been so worried about these horses. Thanks for all your efforts.
With rescue dogs I always tell people it can take up to a year for them to feel safe enough to sleep with both eyes shut. Penelope figured out right away that she was in a safe place. God bless you. Blessings that her youth will allow healing of her leg,
Another amazing rescue Julie. Thank goodness you managed to rescue the beautiful filly Penelope. Thank goodness for people like you & your team 🐴❤️
Thank you for saving these magnificent horses.
And their torture only COMPOUNDS when they get sent to mexico.
Feh 🤧 🤧 🤧 🤧 🤧
***Ps: Thank you for what you do to save them.❤ My heart goes out to those who don't achieve the same destiny.💔
Petunia is beautiful. Just something about her face. Penelope is a doll.
I swear I was thinking same thing 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh, I am so pleased and relived that all of them got saved! I've been thinking about those poor babies a lot and, if I lived in the US, would've moved heaven and earth to rescue them myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you rescuers. Happy days ahead, for them and for you.
Is there anything we can do to help rescue them?
Beautiful, beautiful horses 😊
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for all you do for this horse❤
Poor poor horses I can't even imagine being there and thank you for doing what you do. I wish I had the land to do the same but I don't have a lot of money but can still squeeze out a few bucks here and there for Rescue
We appreciate you!
I love horses 🐎 I was raised on horses at the age of 7 years old. Trained ground working them, breaking them, showed, cow pinned, pole bending, barrel raising, polo. Horses are a beautiful animal ❤ thank you for rescuing these prescious horses 🐎 🙏
What a generous subscriber. Thank you whoever you are. You are amazing!
😊
Penelope is adorable!!! ❤❤❤. Thank you for saving so many!!!
Hard to find some words... Thank you for saving them, especially the fillie 💜 She's at the very beginning of her life and already had been so much through... poor little girl! Hopefully her leg can be cured again... she must be in pain so much... praying for her and all the other poor horses❣️ Thank you, Julie, for everything you are doing for them❣️❣️❣️
Thank you so much for rescuing Princess Penelope and all of these precious horses❤
I'm so thankful you were able to save these horses! At 1st I couldn't understand why the Amish were dumping so many of their "working staff"." As it turns out, many aren't farming, due to government interference. I just watched an article on youtube about it!
Oh my gosh, I am so so so glad you rescued the baby and of course, all the rest of these precious souls who’ve been so neglected. You’re such heroes and I am so thankful that I ran across her UA-cam platform. Pray Mighty blessings to you and your family bring such hope and joy to this seniors heart
The two year old gelding is gorgeous! I love his crimped mane!
It’s so wonderful to see the amount of trust they have in you already especially the young filly. Love your channel.
I was hugely blessed that grandpa
didn't break them like most did in the 50s. He taught me to understand understand their emotional needs and really the way
they are trained now.
My dad didn't understand why I loved them so much. He grew up on a farm and they really broke😢
them.
Interesting for us to witness the world of horse sales.
Wonderful video filled with hope and we were treated to seeing Alias and Noah. Love them both especially when they’re being such good boys-showing love and encouragement to the new filly 🎉
best news today. wonderful. i'm glad i donated a little to help.
You're the best! Thank you for your support!
Just want to say that if your video was 4 hours long - I think I speak for most of us - we would all watch it Julie most of us are invested in many ways. We love and support you all 💜
My heart breaks every time I watch these. I cannot fathom how people consider these beautiful animals a throw away commodity. Watching the heard come in and seeing the stunning riding horses that would end up in the pipeline is so emotional for me. 💔
Love what you do wish I lived over there I would ever be away from your place I love Belgian drafts ❤
