I have to say, when I saw baby Penelope run outside and head to the fence to see the other horses, my heart squeezed in pure joy to see the size of the herd gather around the baby and welcome her. Thank you so much for doing what you do. I can't get through one of your videos without crying in joy for the freedom and peace you offer these beautiful horses.
You are amazing. That you for rescuing those wonderful animals. I am shocked how fast people get rid of working horses and even babie horses. You make the world a bit better
Thank you, Julie and Cory, for providing medical care for all your beautiful rescues....it's probably the first time ever that they've gotten such loving care!
When Penelope went out in her paddock for the first time and the herd came running in to see her , it reminded me of how elephants react to a new baby. I bet if she's ever ready to go out with the herd she'll be pampered and protected. Such a little punkin'!!🐎💜🐎
Seeing all these horses living finally the life they deserve is wonderful! Thank you so much Fletchers! 💝 I wish you Merry Christmas 🎄 Love ❤️ and greetings from Germany 🥰
I was thinking, while watching the video, that most if not all of the work horses are never in a herd. They all look so happy and healthy! Bless y'all for all you do.
Get magnetic nail picker upper for the construction area. You don't want to be digging stuff out of those big hooves. Penelope is precious. Time, light exercise, and good food cures alot of problems. I pray that works for her.
Wow! What a heartwarming reaction from the herd to baby Penelope coming out to the fence! That’s amazing! She looks like she’s feeling better… how wonderful! Thank you for rescuing her! God bless you for the work you do! Watching from Canada.
How lovely to see so many rotund 😂 Belgians! I think Penelope should be called Princess Penelope because she gets a welcoming committee each time she goes out ❤😂
When these guys are first rescued, they nearly all have that same shut down, worn out look - not surprisingly, as their lives have been so hard - when I saw Liam this time he looked so happy, you can tell he’s enjoying his life as a horse… not a machine!! God bless Julie and Cory and the team! ❤️🙏
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊 That's so beautiful and amazing that the herd has come to protect the injured baby. Penelope will be protected. I just can't stop crying. It's so heart warming. Praying 🙏
May God bless you. You are so special with these beautiful horses. My heart goes out to these sad animals. You give them hope, love medical care, freedom, and happiness. Thank you ❤
It is just so amazing that you have rescued these horses from doomed endings - - still unbelievable that disposing of horses for slaughter to any country is allowed. It is the most shameful thing. My heart hurts seeing the scenes of injured and elderly horses discarded - in pain - But You Add Hope To That Equation - - Thank You Thank You X0
Thats what i was thinkinking. That she had a trauma to that inside chondrial. Possibility that she was lying down and momma accidentally stepped on that stifle, which WOULD cause an injury such as this in Penelope. Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
I’m so glad that you rescued Persephone. I look forward to seeing her when she comes home. It’s so hard to see the neglect and abuse these beautiful animals have suffered, but it’s so heartwarming to see all that you do fgr them to heal as much as possible and live a good life.
From the bottom of my heart thank you Flechter Farns. And thank you everyone who has donated to help with saving these poor abused horses. All of you are amazing!
Walter is much improved, so THANK YOU. He is a sweetheart and as much weight he has gained, he's still so thin. Wow. Penelope is precious. ❤ Persephone so deserves your love. You are the best kind of human beings for caring about these gentle horses! 😊
You and your team are amazing Julie saving and caring for these vulnerable equines. Wonderful to see the horses responding so positively to your tender living care. Penelope is the sweetest little foal and it's just lovely to see the way the herd responded to her. Watching her run out in the enclosure was great to see - she must be feeling so much better . Best wishes to you all ❤️🐴
Baby Penelope laying down asleep in her Stall made me both Angry and happy. Angry because she had gone through a lot for her age and happy because she could now rest her soul in her new Safe home. What an amazing welcome the herd gave this baby. Seeing her take off running to the herd melted my heart ❤❤❤
That must have taken all of your breaths away when you saw the herd come to Penelope!!! And how Brave she was/is to run out to meet them. Wouldn’t it be cool if Persephone bonded with her?!? 😊❤😊❤
Love your videos and all the updates on new horses. Penelope is looking good. Was so good to watch her run and go meet the rest of the herd who all seemed to be happy to welcome her. Maybe the more she uses her leg will be good for her, hopefully but I'm not a vet. Can pray God will help her strengthen her leg. What you and Cory and the rest do is such a God send. Thank you for what you do.
That was a beautiful thing to see all the horses coming to see Penelope, just imagine all the the babies that have been taken from your mares she will have so many aunties and uncles when she goes out. Thank you for the update
The little Princess will rule the herd, mark my words. Penelope is just too darn cute but Liam is absolutely gorgeous. I truly hope that there is something that can help her leg but thankfully she will grow up and grow old in a loving barn with friends and humans to wait on her hand and hoof. Walter is gonna be a spunky older gentleman and once he is back near normal weight, you are really gonna see his personality come out. He is such a dignified gentleman and I can't wait to see him with more weight on him.
♥️ Great job Julie ! I wish people could see all the love and work that goes on at FFA. These horses come in broken/shut down. And it's just magical the way these horses recover and before long you can see the sparkle in their eyes shining through. It absolutely makes my heart so happy to be a small part of somethimg than takes a wrong in this world, and makes it right ! If everyone would do what they can, soon maybe all the wrongs in this world would be right again . Every little bit helps ! ♥️
*Thank you for ALL you do at Fletcher Farms! Blessed Be!* Dang it, just once I'd like to get through one of your videos without needing tissues! If it's not tears of joy because you rescued a beautiful baby that really needed it, it's tears for the terrible shape that some people let their animals get to before they just throw them away.
My guess is they beat the hell out of the poor little girl in mexico trying to get her off. She's. An amazing amazing girl. I think it's disgusting that the united states banned slaughter houses here but did not band shipping them to Mexico or Canada. They're so sick and injured and then have to travel all that way.😢😢😢 thank goodness for you guys for the woman. You are able to say it's a miracle.
That's what I thought too. Imagine what happened when she refused to get off - broken jaw, injuries all over 😢 I'm ashamed of so many of my fellow humans.
I love these update videos. The videos take me thru such a range of emotions. Thank you over and over again for all you and your team do for these horses.
Liam wanted so much to groom you during the finale. I hope penelope does well. Everyone loves her! Thanks for rescuing her and Walter and the poor beaten up mare.
I enjoyed watching this post. Do not get me wrong, I like them all and I watch all the time. But this post was very nice and thanks for sharing. God bless you all!!!!
Oh wow, I have never seen horses flock to a baby, really sweet and exciting! I have osteo- arthritis, and my knee joints look similar. Surgery helps because the clean out the shards of bone. In my situation, they pounded a spike like tool into the deteriorated bone to stimulate the bone healing process and it really helped for over 20 years now.
I'm so grateful for what you do. I just before this saw a horse trainer/riding instructor's video of a horse auction that made me disgusted. Horses jammed together, tied, no water or hay, for a half the day. Drafts were sold in morning, saddle and buggy in afternoon. Videographer kept cooing about how SWEET & CUTE these miserable horses were.....but where were ASPCA & Humane Society???
Just got your channel on my UA-cam, omgosh what do the Amish do to these horses? Work them to death & not treat them right? How awful people, always thought they were kind & loved God’s creations?? These horses are shipped to MEXICO to be killed?? Oh how horrible. 😭😡 I watch Longhorn Lester channel, they just rescued their FIRST Belgian & similar problems but they have a good vet too so Roman is very loved & doing good. They could learn a lot from you guys. I subscribed because what you guys do is save beautiful lives that deserve to live & be loved. Thank you so much for what you do. ❤❤🙏✝️🤗🤗🐴
Omg, what a smart girl not to get off. I wonder of her issues was what they did to her to try to get her off? I am glad she is going to end up with you. Love the reaction to Penelope! Made my day 💗
Maybe I'm just weird, but I think a visit to meet Liam and Walter and Persephone and all the others would be the vacation of a lifetime! I wouls so love to give belly scratches and meet these beautiful giants! Talk about being good for the soul!
I must tell you how shocked and disappointed I am with regard to how horses are treated by the Amish community. It is heart wrenching to see horses in terrible condition being thrown away. It really breaks my heart. Thank you for rescuing these gentle giants. I wish I were wealthy so I could send you lots of $$$ but I am a retired senior living alone. Prayers for your operation and your horses. SO grateful about the job you are doing. ♥ Blessings on your heads.

Never been to Amarillo, wow so flat can see for miles! I’m so use to trees here in Northern central California! Lots of freedom for those lovely big horses to run! ❤🙏🤗
Persephone must be 1 smart cookie!! She discovered a way to beat the pipeline. And poor Penelope - such a cutie but it doesn’t seem she’ll have much of a life.
It was such a wonderful sight when Penelope finally went to the fence line. She seems to just fascinate and love her by the other horses. Almost like she has her own fan club. I'm so glad that I am a part of the Big Hoof Foundation.
The herd's reaction to the baby was one of the most beautiful moments!
So sweet! They ALL care about the baby!

Well said. 🐎😊
Beautiful Penelope. Thank you for taking care of her. She would need a horse companion in her age to get and stay socially healthy.
Yup - same here Kim! A little piece of heaven in our broken world!! ❤️🙏
We are all empathics and crying is one of our best or worst discipline ❤😢

Persephone refusing to get off the trailer is amazing. She said: Not today, Satan!!
The herd's reaction to Penelope was so very sweet.

Thank you for sharing it with us!

The protective instincts of the herd to protect the young. That is what I saw. Great on you what you do for these horses.
That story about the mare made me cry.. thank you for saving her❤️
And the poor black malnourished boy 😭
@@heidiinchrist7296Walter is a sweetie isn’t he? He’s going to be such a gorgeous old boy!

I wouldn’t call them “rotund.” I’d say they look healthy.
Liam is a beautiful horse.
He's like the head boy on the farm 🚜

Where was GOD all the time. Always too late. Humans are the real angels. God ist an idiom and just in your head. He sits around doing nothing
Sure wish the horses could talk. Their stories would sure tell the tale.
Amazingly beautiful animals. There is a special.place.in Heaven for.people who rescue animals.
Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year to you all.🎅 🐎
Poor Persifani! 😢 She went through so much! Walter too!
The amish are so cruel to their animals!! 😢
Little Penelope at the end was just Beautiful!! ❤
Thank you for showing the entirety of the human species doesn't belong in hell, there are some angels in the bunch.

I think that that might be what happened. I was thinking along the same lines as you. It’s such an odd place to get that sort of trauma.
Thanks for the update. Penelope and Walter remind me of Heidi and The Grandfather. So sweet. Merry Christmas to all!
Wow.
So glad to see the little horse so happy.
She's excited to have family..
Wow Penelope has lots of potential new moms when she gets out with the rest of the herd. Looks like they all love her already. 🥰
