Agreed, Just goes to show you dont have the spend extra $ on fancy "designated" pest control products to do the job, many other auto related type products work well for many other insects as well. Motto = If you have it, use it.
CRC brake clean works awesome for bee spray I've used it for years ..Nice attitude how u fixed the machine up before selling & not screwing the next guy & passing off your problem.... One of the reasons you're respected among the world of operators..Keep doing you and God will keep blessing you my friend...!!!
We will all miss that beauty but that's how it goes...make money and get something new😉the volvo is just setup right for all your projects and that counts
The new owner will be happy you basically gone over it and fixed any issues you have had while owning it. I guess if he watches your channel he will know what you have had fixed. Y'all stay safe
Winston is so cute! My wife and I train guide dogs for the blind. We get a new puppy every year! But in twelve months we have to turn them in. After eighteen years it does not get easier!
Puppies are sweet when they are that size. So much to explore and learn while trying to stay alive in the process. I think Chris is in for some shenanigans with ol Winston...
I'm the guy that flys a desk for a living. 30 years ago I had a very small desk but I learnt to take every piece of work going until I was working 60 hours a week. Once there, I could afford to both drop the least paying work, and buy a slightly larger desk. That cycle has continued for 30 years. Today I'm running a 1 year old Volvo 260 desk, but I still remember my Hitachi desk with fond memories. It's a constant cycle and all credit to you sir for the effort you put in - and your well deserved success. An older fella said to me many years ago, "Don't forget the people you meet on the way up, because they're the first you'll meet on the way down". Sound advice I think, except I reckon he meant desks or excavators - I'm not sure - but I sincerely hope you or I never have to test that advice :)
You got the essential minimums in life my friend. A fun dog, great equipment, a loyal fan base and steady income to buy groceries. Not much more is needed to be satisfied as a successful human being. Congrats.
It's really your life story you've built here, a video journal. How cool will it be when you're retired and reminiscing to simply go on youtube and relive stuff like this! I wish I had done the same
“Maybe I’ll keep the Volvo longer” 😂😂 3yrs later that 220 has moved more dirt, cleared more land, and has a permanent home forever as Chris has said “when it becomes unreliable to take to a jobsite, and it will, it’ll never leave the farm because it’s the machine that made all this possible” ♥️ I did have to chuckle when he said he didn’t need 2 machines, now he has the 220 that replace the hitachi here, the new 220, the new 350, and if he hasn’t officially sold it yet the Hyundai 330 😎👍 Chris has made some major gains in the last 4yrs and still growing 💪
Winston is Absolutely Adorable. You don’t see many of his Breed except on an Anhueser Busch Beer 🍺 Wagon being pulled by a Team of Clydesdale Horses. 👍
Awww Chris 1 last playtime w your baby. YOU made a good choice sending her to New home. You're getting it done. Keep ON keeping ON! GOD BLESS! Glad TO see all your vids glad to hear your business is growing.
The new wasp killer works really good. Simply remove the cap, shake the can throughly and then beat them over the head with the can. When they hit the ground, step on them.
Much like parting with a good old truck - sad to see it go but happy to play with the new one! (I sold the old Jeep to a guy who I know will have it looking better than new in a few weeks - that makes me happy)!
I figured the new owner would want a autograph and some stickers on it. Nice of you to have it set as good as you would keep it as it leaves. That's the right way to do it.
The Hitachi is a great machine! Sad to see it go but more plans for you. Good planning. I missed the 2800 when you sold it. Too bad the 290 didn't work out for you. Great videos Chris!
Always good to do the best repairs one can as they arise; makes for “a good old solid machine”, one some one else will want to buy and use knowing that it was well maintained.
Just tell em your selling a very expensive thumb tie down, one of a kind and it comes with a free machine. Bitter sweet I bet seeing it go, but the sweet in this situation far out ways the bitter. Congrats Chris!
@letsdig18 I've watched your video's since the very first one of you singing along to the music playin running the excavator when you was skinny and younger lol...and i have to say you've came along way bro...congrats to ya...God bless great content btw.
New Owner is getting a Really Good Machine ! I have watched since you got it, and seems like you went all the way threw it and fixed everything ......lololol !! New Owner should be very Happy with it for sure !! Are ya gonna get that Bad Ass Bucket for your New Skid Steer ?? The one you showed awhile back....Guess we'll see down the road !! lololol....Have a Great Evening Man !! I think you are getting ready to get a hella bunch of rain coming in your way off that hurricane.....May be already ?? lolol On to the Next !!
She fulilled her purpose. Time to go. Congrats to you on the sale and to the buyer for his purchase. Chris, if Winston seems like he doesn't listen well, have patience. Dalmatians, more often than not, have hearing problems, including total deafness. I pray that Winston has neither. He is a beautiful puppy. Being a Firefighter (retired), I hold a special place in my heart for them. God bless.
Winston is Boss! Nice farm dog. You sold the Hitachi Excavator? At least someone will be getting an excavator that will give them reliable use. The Skid Steer is a smart investment. Your a smart thinker and spend your money wisely.
Buying older and upgrade as I can has been my plan. I’m nervous but hoping to strike out on my own at the first of the year. I really like the new TL12V2
Your comment on the brake cleaner be killer was good,I use Gumout carburetor amd injector cleaner, works just as well, give those Hornets a taste of that.and kills them dead so quick they bounce when they hit the ground,,and it's cheaper than regular hornet spray!!
Nabs! Haven’t heard them called that in 40 years. Spent the summers when I was younger on my grandfather’s tobacco farm in Reidsville NC and there was always a box of nabs in the truck
I sort of felt sorry for you having to let the Hitachi go. Your Business is growing fast. She is probably going to a good home. Once you spend a couple ours in your new volvo again you may feel better (unless it's too many days worrying at the giant Rock pond. Just water them and watch them grow, ha) Also not having to make payments on your skid steer should help. Your channel is great I can hardly wait each day till the next one is uploaded.
There's a company I used to work for where that's all they run is old Hitachi's. They have 8 of them and the newest is a 2004 200 and the oldest is an '89 that don't get used much but she's got 19,000 hrs or so and they use it to load trucks every once in awhile. They even have one that is still all Japanese, all the gauges have Japanese kanji's and I couldn't tell which gauge was fuel or temp, and it has a bunch of stickers with some anime character in a hard hat. It's kind weird but it"s a good machine.
Chris, Winston sure is cute. Do you know if his hearing is good, he looks like he 's responding well ? Thanks and someone is getting an awesome machine with all the maintenance upgrades you did ! Thumbs up.
Thanks for the Brakekleen tip. Wasp spray is such a unitasker. There is nearly no end to the uses for Brake cleaner!
Agreed, Just goes to show you dont have the spend extra $ on fancy "designated" pest control products to do the job, many other auto related type products work well for many other insects as well. Motto = If you have it, use it.
Wd-40 works just as well.
Lovely to see Winston again , please show him again when you are able .

Hope the new owner takes good care of the ole girl . She deserves it !
Most defiantly.
Some day it should be in a museum 👍
Winston is so cute! My wife and I train guide dogs for the blind. We get a new puppy every year! But in twelve months we have to turn them in. After eighteen years it does not get easier!
Nice looking pup!! good to have a driving partner!
I was born and raised in the Old North State. When I listen to you, my accent comes back even though I have been gone forty years. Love it.
Congratulations Chris! You have worked hard, you deserve the upgrade!

Don't cry Chris, she's going to a good home.
How do you know? The guy could scrap it in a week
@@Eric_In_SF Dont be so negative. Just wish the "old gal" well,
Brakleen is awesome stuff. Ground bees, hornets, and wasps just drop. Might even be good for brakes, too.
Ohhhh!!! "shut her down for the last time" That's too sad!!! :-(

You are a smooth operator. Always a pleasure watching you on the excavator. That is one fine looking pup too.
“Maybe I’ll keep the Volvo longer” 😂😂

Dalmatians is also called Wagon dogs. Fancy people in old England used them for that purpose running beside their horse drawn wagon.
Moving forwards and Winston is looking GOOD!
I dig it all. Puppy steals the show and you sell a digger. Congrat's.
I like the Hitachi! I hate to see it go, it’s a tough machine!
I remember first time my dog saw cows. "What the hell are those aliens over there ?!?!" ... she didnt know what to make of em..
You can watch my dog go get birds in my videos, but when the cows come around it’s over. She can’t stand them. It is hilarious how they act.
I hope you slapped a letsdig18 sticker somewhere hidden on the Hitachi.
Love that little dog and like the new skid steer .
Awww Chris 1 last playtime w your baby. YOU made a good choice sending her to New home. You're getting it done. Keep ON keeping ON! GOD BLESS! Glad TO see all your vids glad to hear your business is growing.
The Hitachi leaves your hands in far better condition than when you bought it & is a credit you you matey.
SOOOO much better !
The new wasp killer works really good. Simply remove the cap, shake the can throughly and then beat them over the head with the can. When they hit the ground, step on them.
WINSTON!!! He's so cute!!! Thanks for including a video of him.
Winston is the Man and new Foreman !
Hitachi do take some beating good all round machines
Huh funny my wife said the same about her Hitachi.
Sad see the girl go but was a blast to see it work, and thats how you do business your the man💯
Good machines are hard to say goodbye, but between WINSTON and new to you VOLVO you will be just fine.. keep digging!!!
if i would buy used excavator in such price range i would definately buy it from you. You really take care of your machinery.
Much like parting with a good old truck - sad to see it go but happy to play with the new one! (I sold the old Jeep to a guy who I know will have it looking better than new in a few weeks - that makes me happy)!
My son's fascination with excavators has made me an enthusiast as well!
Winston is absolutely adorable! How are the other pups handling having a new little brother?
So dozer next or haul truck?
Enjoying your content😎

Yep he sure is

@@RockBrigadeCommunityForum excellent example 🤑
Especially if you take care of your equipment. It’s a pride thing!
@@troyledbetter6597 True.
Puppies always make great videos
You took good care of her, fixed everything that needed to be fixed, the next owner's getting a damn good machine. Plenty of life left in Ol' Betsy!
Always good to do the best repairs one can as they arise; makes for “a good old solid machine”, one some one else will want to buy and use knowing that it was well maintained.
Yea that brake clean takes care of them yellow jackets perfectly. I used to use it to keep them off our above ground pool years ago.

Winston, what a good looking dog!
I got me a full blooded black Lab, her name is Daisy. I love animals!

Who's he kidding ... Chris is jumping in the air, clicking his heels and doing cartwheels right now! (ha!)
Winston is such a beautiful dal, but I may be biased as an owner of four of them!
Loving Winston he's a little cutie.
Love WINSTON! Had a Dalmatian many years ago, great pets!👍😁
I remember the Link-Belt you painted up. It looked mint.
Final shot of the bucket on the 'Ole" girl @7:10 shows her different length teeth. You've taken good care of her. Darn good dentist too.
Starting Ether knocks 'em outta the sky as well..
Yeah it does !
Winston is gonna be more. popular than you on the channel 😂😂😂
Get the tilt attachment for your skiddy 👍🏼
Your comment on the brake cleaner be killer was good,I use Gumout carburetor amd injector cleaner, works just as well, give those Hornets a taste of that.and kills them dead so quick they bounce when they hit the ground,,and it's cheaper than regular hornet spray!!
the flammable version is better. If the spray don't kill 'em fast enough, then flick a bic and the flame will burn the wings off and they'll drop.
Movie directing is next for you. This was a real tearjerker for guys. I felt like the Hitachi was Patrick Swayze in "Ghost". Ditto.
CRC will love you -- new use for brake cleaner !
Yes pay my skid off 😁 congrats buddy
Them peanut butter and honey Nabs are the truth ! Dig on brother!!
Nabs! Haven’t heard them called that in 40 years. Spent the summers when I was younger on my grandfather’s tobacco farm in Reidsville NC and there was always a box of nabs in the truck
The old Hitachi is a good machine, now that it's repackaged in the bushings. The new owner will probably enjoy it.
Good evening Chris and sad to see the old girl gone

It's amazing how machines like regular service and clean oil.
Winston is just adorable.
What a beautiful dog make more of him so cute
My wife has never been a fan. But you got her on the "Winston" segment !!!
Sad to see it go but the Volvo is a nice replacement.
MOAR WINSTON OMG THE CUTENESS
Yes !!!!
Goodbye old girl, thanks for the hours of entertainment you have given us, all the best 😢
Sad to see her go!
Going to get a Norm Engineering 4 in 1 bucket for the Skid? Make sure you get a high capacity one of you do!
beautiful dog!!!!!
nothing better than a good dog
Winston's the cutest damn thing, ain't he?
Sorry to see it go but best for someone else to get use out of. Pup is growing he’s very cute.
Looks like somebody is becoming totally self-sufficient. Good Luck.
crc brake clean is the good stuff you can tell because it burns the skin
Also good for cleaning metal (don't let it touch wood nor paint) gun parts.
Yes Sir, the more caustic it is, the better it works !
Burns the eyes even better
Great job Hitachi thumbs up
Winston is definitely a happy pupper

Love the name Winston for your dog.
I'm expecting winston to be in every single video from here on.
Yup, where's the petition !
love your new puppy
Pups are the cutest things but boy do their number 2s smell something fierce....
Hair spray works great on spiders too. They don't move far after "the event."
Gotta get that Australian 4 n 1 bucket you did a video on 👌🏼
Winston is soooo cute 💖
Cute puppy.
Very pretty dog
