Nice tip, but how does this not disable the panic alarm that the lock button activates when held (not a flip blade remote)?
How do you code out the delay between pressing the lock button and the windows actually coming down?

Great video, but you are using a method that is 5 years old. Nobody is using NOTEPAD editing to edit the features on and off.
Just Google NCS Dummy, it is a third party program created by one of BMW enthusiasts. It is a GUI program that allows you to read TRC files, translates everything (90%) from German to English and converts this hard to read notepad format to easy to read checkboxes. Once you do the changes you want, you can export it to MAN files, which you upload through NCSExpert back into the module.
I have seen some of your other videos, great stuff, but you definitely have to start using NCSDummy. Good luck.

If you see my desktop I have ncs dummy and Bmw Coding tool, reason i don’t show how to use those is because people have hard time enough time finding and installing ncsexpert/INPA, I know most installers come with dummy now or Coding tools, but the 1 they all will have is ncsexpert, I don’t want to confuse people in adding a another program to the mix. I try to show as easy as can be, once people get the hang of it, they’ll look into using other programs, I’m just tying get people into the easy stuff. Keep things simple for beginners. Plus I’m old school! Thanks again for the comments and watching my videos!!
Hi thanks for the awesome videos, iv e just replaced my e60 motherboard with one from an e90 lci that had pre set buttons when i try it with my faceplate it doesnt work but works perfect with the e90 faceplate.

Hello and thank you for your helpful videos. I have an issue with my 2004 E60 (530i), I would appreciate if you can help me fix it. My 2004 E60 (530i) rolls down all windows and sunroof and unlocks all 4 doors by itself when parked and locked. I made sure my key fob is not pressed when getting away from car. Can you please let me know what is wrong and how I can fix it? Thank you in advance!
Do you know anything about the radio screen on the E60? mine flickers and sometimes turn on and is fully functional when on but then when I shut thr car down and come back to start the car it either comes back on and I can have full function or no music no navi and the screen just keeps flickering and restarting itself and will eventually work again. any help is appreciated. thanks man!

Hey man , i have some problem with my car , it randomly unlocks and windows , sunroof roll down , and no any error code , I deactivated my sunroof and windows through NCS expert, but my car still unlocks randomly , I changed new battery, I thought maybe battery is weak and also changed driver door module , but no use , then I tried my spare key fob but still same thing is happening

hey roskinc i was just wondering if there is a way to instal a mount in the space of the idrive screen to hold a small tablett with a bmw launcher to make the e60 look newer just for android auto music navigation just simple stuff
Replace the head unit with an android unit… a few companies make them. Super clean and will give you all the uses from stock on a 2024 android with CarPlay etc
