She is crying out in pain, agony and with the understanding that indeed she was already in the throes of dying. In that painful plea is her knowing she is far far too young to die and has her entire life ahead of her and she is slipping away. My dear, I have children and grand babies and it utterly devastates me too to hear this young lady pleading to live. It’s haunting beyond all measure. I first heard it years ago. Everyone, remember: THE most dangerous time for a person in an abusive relationship is when they’re leaving. Once the abuser loses control, all bets are off.
If you’re experiencing abuse/coercive control and you want to leave the relationship, STAY OFF social media. Don’t allow any apps on your phone to track your location. Stay with family members or friends who you trust and try to limit your time alone. Advise the local police that you have an abusive ex who you fear may threaten violence if they find you. It’s a lot, and it can be stressful and scary, but it may mean the difference between staying alive and the alternative.

      Agreed.
This case always makes me wonder what would have happened if Karen were to have moved out early on when red flags started appearing years earlier and severed the relationship quickly and concisely.
Would he have been more mentally capable of dealing with it had Sunny not been a factor?
      We'll never know...
Lots of other 'what ifs' cross my mind with this case.

Empathy is an emotion based on a series of valuations regarding ones relationship to others as well as to oneself.

All of them could/would have a positive impact to our society, but this little, meaningless and anxious waste of space had decided to not let them.
Hearing of all this cases of femizide all around the world makes me think of the plague. It really feels like a global pandemic and it saddens and frustrates me to no end.
But how can we, as a society learn to cope or - much better stop these type of crime? I think, at first we have to give the police much better "tools" to work with. So many of this crimes could be prevented if (that may sound naive) if there were some sort of "checklist", an evaluation with psychiatrists, (forensic) psychologists and special trained police personell - bc there HAS to be a pattern! This did NOT happen out of the blue, ther ARE signs way before and all they can do is writing restraining orders? No, seriously - this has to change!
