We are less than 10 miles from this fire, and are downwind. The shelter in place order now includes 3 counties. We are being told to shut windows, turn off the air conditioning and not go out. My husband is recovering from a heart attack, and I just had bypass surgery as well. This really poses a threat to people like us.
The authorities really do need to get on the ball in inspecting this plant. But, hey, this is Georgia. They are more interested in telling women what to do with our bodies and in worshiping the Orange Menace.
