The Cosmo was originally developed to be a condominium tower so that is why the terraces were constructed on the exterior of the building. However due to the financial crisis of 2008, not enough condo units were sold and the developers projected a resort and casino would profit more successfully. Here we are now. We need more terraced resorts! Beautiful views

The balconies at Cosmo are a game changer
Worth the price. I get discounts from Wynn and Venetian properties as a frequent visitor so I'd most likely stay in one of their suites over Cosmo but if I'm with a group of people who want to stay near Cosmo, yeah, I'd take this suite in a heartbeat. That is a great view!
This place is my absolute favorite place on the strip! Lovely decor, amenities, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. It's central location makes it a great place to be in walking distance of days worth of great things to do.

This room shared with 3-4 other people would be a pretty sweet bargain, granted everyone really likes each other. Definitely a celebration/special event sort of place to me. Maybe a casual Tuesday to others. But it’s not every day you get to wake up to a view like that in such comfort

They raise prices based on expected occupancy
Try for off peak times
During the pandemic they had those rooms as low as $250 because no one was going to Vegas
But they slowly raised them as people came back
It's a bit harder now because everyone wants to party in vegas and their usual winter lull hasn't been as bad as usual years
I would start checking 6 months in advance for winter dates if you really want this room or any room for cheaper
And avoid superbowl and rodeo week

This is not a suite, this is a Terrace Studio Fountain View. That is why the bedroom is not separate. Terrace Suite Fountain View is almost 300 sqft bigger and has a second bathroom.
Came here to say the same thing! I love the Cosmo! I’ll be back there in May chillin on my balcony watching the fountain show!
The wrap around fountain suite is legit the best room , with the add on room.
I was at that room over a month ago, the room was epic. Including amazing amenities, robes, automatic climate control, spa tub, balcony and personal fridge. I hope mgm doesn’t removed most of these amenities since they own it now

Imagine all things done in that shower. It probably would light up like Xmas, not to mention the room as well. I’ll take the views though it is a nice room.

I am 40 and I go to Vegas to unwind! Zero gambling, zero partying. Just fine dinning, spa, a show, the view of the Bellagio. I did all the cheap hotels and partying in my 20s, now it’s just nice things

The Cosmipolitan is the BEST! Absolutely amazing staff and the room balcony’s are game CHANGERS. I remember being with my ex fiancé, and we had the most lovely time!

That’s the terrace studio not the one bedroom suite. I’ve stayed in the one bedroom terrace suite and it does have a door that separates the bedroom from everywhere else. The other way to know this is just a studio is because of the jacuzzi tub. The one bedroom suite has a Japanese soaking tub.
I’m going back in May and will be checking out the studio room this time. Both rooms are dope.
If you can spring for it get the fountain view room. It’s so worth it!

That's not the terrace suite I stay at Cosmo often. That's a terrace studio. The suites are larger with separate bedrooms and are around 399 a night but great reviews

I loved staying there. The room, the view and the location on the Strip checked all the boxes for me. Will definitely be staying there again on my next Vegas trip

Cosmopolitan over the Venetian
We are Platinum Mlife and always stayed at the MGM properties and comped suites, food, and freeplay. But we discovered that competing casinos do what's called "tier match". So we went over to Caesar's and they automatically gave us Diamond. Didn't stay or play for long at Caesar's as we were leaving Vegas the next day, but for our next trip, we told a Caesar's host what we usually get with MGM and although it wasn't a suite, comped us a decent room to get us to switch. We stayed at that room Wednesday to Friday and went to Bellagio suite Friday to Sunday. This is a way to switch over without having to completely start over.

During Covid my wife and I stayed here from a Sunday to Sunday and it was 793.00 for the entire stay. I know we will never get that rate ever again but it was amazing and we had the exact view on the 42nd floor

The terrace suite I stayed in had an electric collapsible wall it faced the Aria though tub looked out the floor to ceiling window on the terrace

Same View Flamingo. i was Comped that's Why i stayed. Rooms were Updated & VIEW of the Strip/Fountains Was GREAT & Weekday Rates Were like $70-$80 included the Bogus Resort Fees.

I stayed there but on the corner wrap around balcony. Two bathrooms. Heated floors. Center of the main bathroom old timey looking tub in the middle 🛀. 👍🏽 👌🏾

my brother loves the Cosmo and stays there whenever he goes to Vegas. It's on my list, We just stayed at Venetian and it was very nice but no view. Which is fine because I don't care much about the view.

I'm over fountain views, but I want a balcony. I haven't stayed at Cosmo, Platinum or Signature yet though!
I’ve stayed at Cosmo and Signature. I feel like the Signature did not have balcony furniture but it was still cool. I think I just took a chair from the room out there. Also the room we got was huge and super affordable! You can even walk through the MGM to the Signature so I def recommend it. You also get a kitchen with the Signature which I love for the sole purpose of being able to heat up food that I bring back to the room lol.
Now the Cosmo is gorgeous! The balcony was great and even had a couch. I did spring for the fountain view the first time we stayed there and it was wonderful. It was our first time staying directly on the strip too so I just wanted that full experience. I personally think any view of the city at night is pretty when everything is all lit up so I won’t spring for fountain or strip views anymore.
The cosmo is pretty nice. There is a pizza joint there that is absolutely amazing!

Wow. Talk about a room with a view.
I almost booked that for this weekend. But I’m a Caesar’s points collector because I live about 2.5 hours from Tahoe. Paris gave me a free room with Eiffel Tower and full strip view for free + resort fees. Hard to beat $156 for 3 nights vs the $1200 it would have cost me at Cosmo for this room. More money to play and eat.
You will never sleep the marquee night club and pool will blast bass into your room from 11 am to 4 am and my room was on the 36 floor
