This is still such a beautiful game, the animation is wonderful for it's time, some games even today have less appealing animations, and it's visuals look like a gamecube game, not a model 3. Its so very charming and cute too.

Model 3 cost a ton back in the day, so naturally 1996 hardware that cost like $10000 would be able to beat a $200 console

The First Stage known as Roy’s Hometown is the only stage that has TTTE references, for example:
The Green Saddle Tank Engine at 0:31 resembles Percy.
The 2 Brown Tram Engines at 0:35 resemble Toby.
The Red Saddle Tank Engine at 0:57 resembles the red tank engine from the Fast Forward Thomas skits.
And the Blue Tank Engine at 1:19 resembles Thomas.
I should mention that engine looks like James with a his paint job even though it is a tank engine and not a tender engine
Pretty neat seeing some subtle Thomas the Tank Engine lookalikes in this game.

@@franoparapat5501 You know, it makes me want to rewrite “Thomas & the Magic Railroad” to “Thomas & the Magical Truck Adventure”; removing all mention of Shining Time, but adds back PT Boomer to play as the true antagonist, and also Mommy and Marrow’s boss before the aforementioned minions did a heel face turn (as a reference to Mommy and Marrow cheering for Roy and Alma when reaching 100% completion).
This had my little kid heart beating out of my chest. Unfortunately it required two people and small children aren't even coordinated enough to play games solo, much less in unison, so I never got passed the Safari, but I still had fun lmao.

Off screen. Also, I like to think there's a deja Vu cycle that goes on from from the time Stone that Roy and Alma are exposed to it's magic, maybe even Mommy and marrow too. And also I like to think the endings are parts that go from A,C,D,B as some chronicle concept in the story. Kinda like any repeated time cycle scenario. Ending B would be that the true ending in my head Canon where the bad guys are stuck and can't get the kids and the time stone, and Roy and Alma can go when and where ever they want to in peace together.

Very good. But you missed one more ending. Fail till you get to the Stage 3C then succeed. Or succeed, then fail, then succeed again at the Stage 3C.
It's a different ending. I got that ending when I was a kid. I did alright but wasn't too great. Leading into the low path at the final stage. But managed to beat the game barely and got the gem.
Found out it's like ending B. oops...
Man I remember this game it was at a Chuck e cheeses we always went to and me and brother would play it and try to see how far we can get we couldn't get that far because our timing with the jumps always got us game overs man it was really fun to play it when were kids

Me too! When I first saw this at a specific Chuck E Cheeses this was only at, I always wanted to continue playing it and try to go fast and far as I can but was difficult. The jumps always got me game over as well because it wasn't strong enough. I only managed to get to the South Sea level and then it all ended with no chance of getting that far again, and that was it. Due to the fact of limited tokens I had too to keep playing.

To be fair, it's usually done by native English speakers in Japan with voice direction under Japanese speakers. Raiden in CvS2 is a good example.

Was I the only one who saw some Thomas the Tank Engine references in the first level? (Hint: Look up at the bridge at 0:31, to the right at 0:35, to the left at 0:57, and to the right at 1:20)
Makes me wish Thomas and the Magic Railroad had this subplot rather than the Gold Dust bullshit.

This a one Magical Truck Adventure to see a puffin, cows, horses, dragon, elephants, lion, zebras, crocodiles,
great white shark, sea turtles, fishes, eels, rhinos, thomson’s gazelles, T-Rex and dinosaurs.
Pause at 0:35 and you'll see Toby the Tram Engine without his face! And the Engine on the Bridge at 0:29 is probably Percy.
EDIT: I also found James and Thomas! James: 0:55. Thomas: 1:18.

You could argue that the entire level theming to this game is multiple references to other shows and movies. The safari level is clearly meant to resemble the lion king, the futuristic level is either meant to be the jetsons or back to the future part 2, the dinosaur level is meant to be Jurassic park (especially since the dinosaur is possibly from the Jurassic park 2 arcade game) and the under water level is probably jaws.

This means that either this was a game set in the time of "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" and/or that the kids are Sudrians (from Sodor).

@@GreatMewtwo Wouldn't surprise me if this game was originally going to be a thomas the tank engine arcade game that would have been a promotional tie in for magic railroad (since planning for the movie was during the mid 90's and this game was in the works at the same time) before the idea was scrapped and the game was just a mish mash of references to popular entertainment with thomas being one of them.

Well all they did was take the percy model and recolored it blue so that's why is inaccurate.
If you ask me. Sega should do a collection of these old 3D arcade games they did back in the day. Wouldn’t it be great to play these on switch? Heck, come on. Why hasn’t saga made this yet? It be perfect to learn about saga 3D arcade history, these games look interesting and fun to play.
