    Btw, just wanted to add this, your the reason I bought a whole set of tools and started my house by myself, you kick ass man, thanks for all the tips! I started last Monday and I’m half done (2300 sqft), tools were pricy and I spent the first few days just testing and learning, pretty sure I’ve got it down now. I wouldn’t say any other UA-camr had as much useful info as you, I appreciate that!

      That’s awesome. So when are you ready to be a full time finisher? Lol. I need a good finisher or two badly.

    Have you tried using the flusher for wilping the tapes, and then the angle head for the finish glazing? I was wondering because if you only use the angle head for the last glazing, you will never hit any screws. Or if it is not perfectly square will it tear the tape?

    Would any 2.5” angle head be considered a “glazer”? I got a Columbia, I am not having it lol. Not doing much, basically just nocking any mud down not really feathering much, my mud too thick? Do you prefill your glazer before using it on your angles?

    • @manwithapan
      @manwithapan  Рік тому +1

      I prefill all gaps prior to taping. When it comes to glazing angles. That 2.5 will work. You have to roll the tape out first and make sure you push it hard. This way it gives you enough mud to glaze the angle.

      Hello my friend, I got lot of work I think I should buy a bazooka but I don't have a lot of money. Do you think the Asgard bazooka Hammer is good enough or should I wait to buy a tapetech ? Thanks you

      @@antoinecrespel2182 I am not familiar with Asgard, tape tech and Northstar are my go to bazookas. They are worth the money. Remember there is a learning curve, don’t get to frustrated, keep at it and it will come to you.

    One question, friend, can I use quick-drying dough in the bazzuka, like 2 hours, 4 hours? And how do I clean this machine?

    • @manwithapan
      @manwithapan  Рік тому

      I would never put quickset mud through my bazooka. If for any reason it hardens inside
      Tube, you will most likely have to take it apart to get mud out. The pump will most likely have to go through same process.

    • @manwithapan
      @manwithapan  Рік тому

      As far as cleaning a bazooka. I use a water hose. Many just pressure wash them, just want to make sure you get all mud out of where the tape comes out. Otherwise little pieces will dry up and cause the tape to jam up.

      So while I’m taping. This house will take me 4 full days just to string tape. It’s a big one. I use a brush and just clean head off in bucket of water at end of day. When I am done taping with it I will just wash it with a hose at home. If it’s winter I take it to the shower and wash it.

      I use a pump/pesticide sprayer and spray water on it or use your bazooka pump and open your cleaning hatch on the bazooka head and pump water in tube instead of filling nozzle and the filling nozzle as well and i have a bucket heater to make water really hot and lubricate after cleaning don't forget to clean/lube the back of the tube as well for the piston to slide freely

      Same mate , got my old employee back after agreeing he left (we basically had zero plasterboard in NZ in May I think) .. but now figuring out a system to keep us both moving.
      I'm going to re watch all your videos to try and figure out in which order to run the toys. Keep getting areas that need touched up after sanding where our glazer goes over the flats. And need the best way to finish 3 ways. I've always done each side separately so still figuring it out 😂
      NZ expecting a big pull back in New builds next year. So just formulating a plan to stay busy 🧐

    • @manwithapan
      @manwithapan  Рік тому +1

      @@geordie-drywall so I run my angles with 3.5” head after second coat on flats, butts and beads. Then I pull 3 ways and finish angles I can’t run angle head on. Next day I final coat everything which takes out most of the marks. I then pick 3 ways and remaining hand finish angles and it’s done!
