Thank you so much for sharing your story! My best friend was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma grade 3 as well. It was so encouraging to hear your story.
racism.blogger.com It’s my best friend, not me. But, she is almost 4 weeks through radiation treatment and so far is doing well. She has been tired and her hair is thinning, but hadn’t fallen out completely yet. Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have a brain tumour but as yet don’t know what kind and whether it will be cancer or not. This waiting part is horrendous. Having heard your experience it has given me a sense of calm and encouragement to take each scan as they come until I have a plan. Thanks
Hi David! I am 54 years old and have had a similar experience to yours. I also had a stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Mine was located in the left frontal lobe. I had 5 weeks of radiation as well as the oral Temodor (like you). I also have Lymes Disease. I had my craniotomy in January of 2018. I lost a bunch of hair and the rogaine for women did not help. I see you have survived for 7 years. Is that true? Wishing you the best. Ps. I just posted a video on my tumor titled stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma. I think that stats on brain cancer are outdated due to all the innovations on cancer care. Just had a successful MRI May 12 2020. Told to come back in 6 months. I am utilizing cannabis almost daily. The literature for brain tumors, cancer, and seizures (I get seizures too and headaches 😣) looks promising!! I wonder if I can attribute this to my survival of 2.5 years? I have not had any seizures since using the cannabis. God has given us all seed bearing plants for food. (Genesis 1:29 😁.) God Bless. stay in touch. Thank you so much for your candid, honest interview. My sister-in-law was diagnosed with an AA, 3 cm on her right parietal lobe which they are stating is inoperable. Where was your tumor?
I had an inoperable untreatable cholesterol granuloma and it was slow-growing from birth that went misdiagnosed for 42 years. Finally in 2016 after 12 years I got a clear MRI and my doctors asked me what I was doing and it was just cannabis I was using for nausea, and vomiting symptoms, and vertigo, tinnitus. I mean my seizures were not maintaining from anti seizures meds I had adverse events from. Our motto in brain tumors/cancer always is Never Ever Give UP HOPE. Most of us win our battles those of us that believe.
I've been diagnosed with diffuse astrocytoma this month and underwent surgery. Biopsy done. So relieving to hear your story. So relatable
Very brave man. God bless you.

Respectfully, Is David Rycraft still alive?
I thin he was alive as of last year, I hope he's still doing well.
I think it's an impossible thing till now to stay for 16 years with grade 3 astrocytoma .....something unrealistic in science till now ......
Hi... I'm so excited to read your comment, I have been survived for 12 years now... N wondering how much more time I can have
@@deflorieeflower How are you doing now? I hope you’re okay!
