One way you can make this trick a bit easier is instead of cutting the card to the top of the deck like at 3:01, you can just hold the card to the bottom of the top pile with your thumb, then cut the deck, leaning their card on bottom so that way you don’t have to move the one card to the bottom of the deck.

5:17 well i did pick the fact that you switch the card, and that move is just look suspicious. Why does not simply control the spectator card to the top of the deck and then do a double lift to reveal the random card (below the selection)? That would make it easier to switch it with the selection later on as you would just flip back the face up double and take the top card (the selection) to then later reveal that it has changed to the selection.
there is a much better way to do this which is just getting their card to the top do a double lift then place both cards in the middle of the deck and then you can show the face is clearly the wrong card then holding it down so they see the back with practice you can even do it with one hand and scoot the wrong card into the deck flush so they dont see the card move then the spectator can just pull the card out of the middle of the deck themselves and it be their card it is way cleaner and more visual i have been doing this for a decade and have even fooled other magicians and skeptics with this version and if enough people are interested i will even show a video of how it works which id even let you post to the channel
