Dude, that's awesome! Glad you enjoyed it, maybe you need an E90 in your life? Haha
@@DeadEndRestorations I absolutely do need one, been hunting

Great animation of the butterflies singing Aleluya!
Excellent content man… you should pair up with Streten ;-)
I see someone fooling with the Vanos in the next video 😊
Great idea, let's see we just might! Cheers
Great work, that rough idle in the end was pretty scary. By the way nice hoodie 😍
This guy is one punch man in car world….AWESOME video
haha thanks man!
It's amazing how good the internals of the engine looked considering the kms. It just shows the importance of regular oil changes.
absolutely!
What a nice surprise on a Tuesday evening. Thanks!
Enjoy!
@@DeadEndRestorations I did.
Yoooo same! Tuesday evening for me too
Welcome back Markoni. Mislio sam da si nestao. Keep up the great work. Props from BGD 😉😉😎😎👍👍
Hvala buraz!!
Courage and passion… I can’t believe you took on that project neighbour. Great job buddy!
Awesome work, really you need a bigger place man but taking that into account even more impressive waiting for the next one 😊
Thank you!
I found your channel yesterday night and started watching, subscribed also; wow! So many miles on original rod bearings. If oil changes would have been neglected this S65 would have blown a long time ago. I own a couple of great examples of the E60 M5s which I maintain diligently. The S85 is the S65 daddy! I daily drive one and the second is for road trips! oh my, smile after smile. This is great evidence that if oil changes are done regularly, these high revving master pieces will keep going and going.
wow, TWO S85's you deserve a medal for bravery my friend! thanks for watching glad you're enjoying the content! cheers
Well done and great work.
Many thanks!
God you're awesome! I love this channel already. I hope you find tonnes of success in UA-cam and in life and I can't wait to watch more videos on your channel! Love your style and substance!
Thank you so much!!

Took a while for a new episode, I learned to be patient … 😂
Good luck for the further steps , can’t wait to see the next episode !
Cheers
Day job and 3 kids don't help! ;) thanks for the patience and for watching! Cheers
That's bearings is changed probably 2 time ..i recommended to you to look speed academy video about M3 bearings and track day.
Hvala Mile! Yes I watched that video, I don't plan to aggressively track this car and if I do I will find a way to change the main bearings in my tiny garage somehow (with engine in car is possible from what I read). I also plan on using Liquimolly Ceratec as mental 'placebo' and hopefully that prolongs the engine life. Hvala za komentar!
great work! love the content. nice details on the rod bearing service
Thank you very much!
Undertray looked nasty…great job
I love your videos, but I don't understand how you don't have a million subscribers already…
So glad you're back. I've been waiting for this car to get some love.
You and me both!

@@DeadEndRestorations Bare hyggelig/you’re welcome
Sick my man!!
Are you only in BMW's or there would be another car brands in the channel? any chance to see Mercedes S600 W140 on your channel? Yeah i know that good example is very hard to find, because they veeery expensive to fix and maintain, but mayby soneday?)) 😅😅😅
Keep up the good work and good luck) Cheers from Ukraine)😊😊
Thank you! I would do a Mercedes and love the W140 but its too big to fit into my tiny garage ;) Cheers!
Muy excelente my friend...
Like first, watch second 😊 this should be a good one
haha love it!
Really enjoy your excellent channel. Thank you for all of your help and information. I had a question, you don’t have to use PLASTIGAUGE to install bearings? That was amazing! I have never seen bearings installed without being measured. Please explain
Thank you! BE bearings are hand measured and guaranteed to be exactly the same fitment for each bearing, and given there's no wear on the crankshaft its usually safe to install them without measuring. Plastigauge is an extra layer of piece of mind, but with these types of bearings its not really 100% necessary. Cheers and glad you enjoyed it!!
Nice work. But what about the bearings that hold the crank to the block??
aka the main bearings? That will be for a future engine rebuild, its a much more complicated job and involves removing the transmission and a whole lot more from the engine
@@DeadEndRestorations yeah youre right. But the condition of those may be just as worn
Could be, at this point I'm willing to gamble them and time/money permitting if I keep the car I'll likely do an engine rebuild and change them at that point. I put in the Ceratec additive hoping it increases anti-wear lubrication in those bearings and keeps the engine alive for a couple more years
Nice Video..:)
Thanks!
I hope you did realize that at around 36:00 when you were hand rotating the crank, one or more paper towels got sucked in the spark plug hole, hopefully not all the way to the cylinders..
Nah, they were all accounted for when I pulled them to put the plugs in :) don't plant those kinds of thoughts in my head!!
Hey there, I was just wondering where you bought the BE bearings and ARP bolts from? I am in Ontario as well with my high mileage S65 (250k) and want to do this service too but just don't know where to order from
Thanks!
Hey - I think I bought the RB's from ECS tuning and the bolts either from them or from FCP euro. Cheers and good luck!
The duty is a huge pain, would recommend shipping to border and 'picking them up' it will save you $200-300 easily
@@DeadEndRestorations Thanks! I am in Ottawa so only about an hour. I heard horror stories from ECS damaging packages and shipping out the wrong items. DId you experience that at all?
Awesome
throttle actuators ?
believe it or not, they work fine - no need to change!
So, when's the next video coming? :)
Working on it now, shouldn't take 3 months to make like the last one ;)
Just use heavier oil 30 weight minimum duh!
