Steven Strait did loose weight for this season because he wanted Holden to look over stressed as they were suppose to be in combat for months with out letup by this point.
Yes his name is Duarte. He was shortly mentioned at the very end of season 5 by Sauveterre thanking Marco for his help. Cortazar is the mad scientist they caught back in season 2 on Thoth station and was then kidnapped by Anderson Dawes later on. In season 5 he was kidnapped again by unknown forces on Ceres, the same time the PM-sample was stolen from Fred Johnson. In the last episode of S5 we saw that Cortazar is now on Laconia doing experiments with that PM sample. So Cortazar and the sample have been the payment from Marco to Duarte for their Martian spaceships.
"Holden kinda looks like shit." Well, that's to be expected. Holden is, after all, Don Quixote. Knight of the Woeful Countenance, and all. The little girl is Cara. Her brother is Xander (Xan for short). Earlier, when Cara ditched him to go figure out the strange dogs, Xan and his buddies took a soccer ball and went off somewhere to play. Last episode, when Cara was running home to her parents with the dead bird, she had a close encounter with some goon who thought that speed limits were for other people to follow. When you were of an age to play with a ball with friends, how many times did the ball (or frisbee or whatever) find it's way to the middle of the road? That's what happened to Xan.
Also, don't know if you know this but there are extra clips for each episode. If you are watching the show online go to the XRay tab and bonus content.
Great reaction! I may be bias but I absolutely love the space battles on this show! I to am amazed of character arc of Chrisjen! As well as most of our characters! Can't wait for the next one!
Holden lost weight for the show. Keon Alexander, acting in character as Marco, sh$t-posted in Twitter about Holden's appearance. Cara Gee, acting in character as Drummer, responded to Keon in Twitter and they had a bit of hilarious back-and-forth going. Remember Alex had told Lt Babbage that Protomolecule devices on Ilus had begun switching on with the presence of the Protomolecule sample that was hidden on the Roci. We are on Laconia very shortly after they have gotten the protomolecule sample that Marco gave them. That's why the kids' schoolteacher instructed the kids to report any new or strange things they saw happening on Laconia. The new and strange thing we see are the "strange dogs." They are so inquisitive and bold that it's unlike they would not have been seen before, unless they had just recently been activated. I was rather surprised that Prax's subplot of the book didn't make it to the series. It wouldn't have required much CGI, but it was a very interesting story of how the gentle Prax would choose to defy Marco and help earth. Kind of funny, too. Holden couldn't really know, but I believe the Free Navy would have collapsed if the Pella had been destroyed. First, the Pella was the most capable ship of the Free Navy. Second, Marco had never developed a working military hierarchy. The only other two people who could have kept the Free Navy together (Rosenfeld and as a figurehead, Filip) were on the Pella with him. The "tributes" kept as hostages to ensure the loyalty of the other factions would also be dead. Otherwise, the pirates opposed to him (like Drummer), the pirates who were there for the initial glory, and the station-bound Belters such as on Ceres would not have remained united for long.
That wasn't a ship that came through the ring. You can review to see if you get what it is, or just wait. You'll soon know BTW, couple of commenters mentioned the X-ray files (bonus material) You should view those with each episode. Good stuff.
Man, I forgot how awesome the spin-fire-spin maneuvers were. I think that's straight out of the books, too.
The Holden maneuver.
Yeah.. that spin, and clocking that they always evaded in the same direction... so clever.
😍👍
I love that you're still watching one of my favorite show and seasons of all time, great content!

Oh, I didn't know that. That's a relief, I was worried he was sick or something.

make sure you are watching the 'x-rays' they provide some good back story to this season
Bobbie manually targeted the PDC where she expected the Pella to dodge to when avoiding the missile and railgun, so the Pella actually shot itself.
I am sorry if I mess up your view counter. I am saving your Expanse reactions until I can binge them all.
Marley!!!!! It’s been so long! 😍🐶

propaganda is a morally neutral term - it's the use to which it is put that determines its moral status.
The problem with embarrassing Marco is that he's a pathological narcissist.
😍👍👌👍
Please react to Peaky Blinders 6 season ))
It IS propaganda, however, propaganda is not always a bad thing.
