  • I had a hell of a time finding this module, so I thought I'd save some other folks some time. This video shows the location of the initiators by each wheel, and the module under the dash that receives the data from the initiators.
    The rear bolts are 10mm.

4 Sensors transmitters one sensor inside on each tire, 4 LFI (low frequency initiator) above on each tire, these active the tpms sensors each 10 minutes and 1 tpms module unit (reciever) located on center console.

Thank You! The mystery solved! I have had my TPMS lose the outputs to all tires, no indications. not sure what discount tire did, but it didn't take long to get them back on line. probably disconnect and reconnect that simple...

This was super-informative, thanks. Does this mean that you don't have to program anything on the Pilot itself when you replace a sensor or rotate the tires? I'd imagine 4 receivers would mean it could detect the sensor.

Hi Charles, when i change recievers or TPMS module under dash do i need to program the ECU. i have 2005 pilot changed ALL OEM sensor. rear one are failing, i moved the tire to front and front to rear.. again rear is fialing this means it is not sensor problem. now i dont know it is receiver or tpms module. again do i need to program TPMS MODULE PLS.

Make sure you have OEM sensors. I replaced everything and it was still not reading the rear sensors. The front are OEM Honda, the rear are not. The OEM have been sold out since I made this video. To answer your question, you do not need to program the ECU, but make sure your part numbers match on the modules incase there were any midyear part changes.

@@CharlesCo918 Yes all 4 are OEM sensors, only rear is not reading. so i moved rear to front, again same problem on rear, this means it is not sensor , will be either antenna or TPMS module itself.
