Looks pretty great. I think I’m gonna have to pick him up after all. Glad to hear the paint is improved, which was a common complaint with this figure.

GREAT Review - That Cherry Red really POPS! - I know not "accurate" but I am always willing to deviate if it strikes me as an improvement with Artistic License.
My only realy complaint, is that he should have come with both tapes, or better yet, all 4, especially seeing as how Justice Ironpaw is hard to find. Otherwise LOOKS AWESOME!
Thanks for watching, I had those tapes in the past, all of them are poor quality so I don't really care for them, will probably just get the MMC tapes when they get released
wish they would fix and reissue the tapes, Rewind that came with mine is a floppy damn mess, hard to get it to stand up straight let alone try any kind of a dynamic pose.
I never had a problem with mine.. I have the cartoon red and I love it.. Great review 🌟😎

I got the original release, and got no issues other than the paint chipping. I think it still holds up very well, and looks great next to Soundwave. The cassette bot is crap though.
Awesome review man. He's a great figure. I picked him up last week and he looks solid standing toe to toe against MP-02 Soundwave. Wish he came with a few more mini cassette dudes. Does KFC have a box set of cassette tapes that can be purchased separately?
No box set, the orange movie version comes with two cassettes but that's the only "box set"

So there are several versions of this guy and it's hard to tell them apart. I have the "Pure Red Metallic" one on PO... Is that this one?

Is the weight similar to Soundwave? Official Soundwave is an awesome figure but I felt the same way about it; cheap and light weight. Is KFC quality worse?
It's lighter than official soundwave, quality on my copy is fine but it seems hit or miss between the three copies I have owned
not recommended at all, the plastic feel so cheap, no matter whether it's normal or Metallic version, I would say the package design is much better than the toy itself.
I just got this guy as well and I do like him a lot but I agree that he’s a bit pricey for how light he is.

Love blaster - tho handles should be diecast. Broke on my previous version by the feet. I’m okay still if they never make another one

Nice Review per usual...I have to say, that shiny red looks Great. I have the Orange and Blue versions and OH MY...They are Junk. 1. Loose Shoulders, tape door alignments, leg ratchets misalignment so he can Never stand straight, always tilting to one side. I give up on this Blaster.
I had the same experience, very poor QC on those two, I was surprised on this one
This is the only decent (and only decent) version of this figure. The unpainted red and orange ones are ugly as you can clearly see the bare cheap plastic he's made of and it sucks. This figure is not too bad looking but should cost half what they are asking.

I saw the reissue but its a pass for me. No die cast anywhere and although that paint looks great its only one the outside of the bot.
Don't know, but it has plenty of heft and it's stable.
@@Faxie83 looks great just with the busy arms and some panels not having a way to lock into place zero die cast in think they reissue could have been better. You ko prime(I have the first run) when you pick that up and pose him he feels premium and he's 100$ die cast and all. I just don't feel it with kfc's blaster. I would have to find a cheaper used one if I were to grab him.
Correct no die cast and it is very light compared to even Soundwave
To each their own, but I don't see the need for diecast just for the sake of it, and Transistor doesn't need it imo. It's light, but heavy enough.
@@Faxie83 not always a need four it but its nice in a third party figure of that size. Final victory figures are full of die cast and look how they turned out. Just because its the ONLY mp blaster out dosent make it they best. As a customer i I think its a missed opportunity for kfc to fix a few thing that would have made this a must have.
I wish WJ or Black mamba would ko this guy. Die cast feet and thighs light up head ratcheted joints everywhere at half the cost im in. But that's just my opinion.
