It was really nice meeting you in person and chatting both at Tamworth and at the Triumph factory. My mate (Baba) and I rode up from London to be part of the unvieling and it was worth every mile of the journey! We were chatting afterwards about how much of a genuinely nice person you are, engaging with everyone who wanted to speak with you and taking a genuine interest in what they had to say. Its refreshing to see that in this present age. Thanks for all the hard work you and Monika put into the channel and i wish you many more adventures on the 'new' Bonneville! Take care and Godbless.
I just watched Freddie's video and saw the respect genuine people like yourselves have. Hearing the fireblade story was....well wow!! Safe travels to you both buddy👍👍👍👍
Hi Freddie. My wife and I have followed the channel for 3 years. It was such a pleasure to meet you in Tamworth and then ride with you to Triumph. My wife couldn't attend the event because she was in hospital. However, the fact that you took the time to have a video call with her to wish her well (whilst managing all of the other attention and excitement of the DGR ) was not only very kind but a testament to the fact that you are a perfect gentleman. Thank you.
I am the owner of the R18... I cannot take credit for the Tomorrow Never Dies paintwork... It was done from the Wollaston Motorrad dealership in Northampton by their Custom shop... Currently has 3000 miles.. Loosening up nicely 😅
Two thousand miles more... Short tour of Scotland.... I was amazed at 58 mpg being achieved and impressed by how usable it is on narrow single track B Roads....
Freddie, you suffered many a month. But it was worth it. Joe and his amazing wife deserve all the credit that can be given to them for transforming an old bike to new again. Now it’s all on you freddie. You got to treat your Bonnie like an old Harley. Keep it clean, be mechanically meticulous, and remember it’s not just a bike. It’s family. May you both have many more adventures together.
Hi Freddie. So kind of you to spare us time to talk at Tamworth. We will hopefully have some nice HD footage of the handover and at Hinckley. It should be up Saturday morning. It's great to spot Biker Buddy on your ride. Lee is a top guy, and of course, Buddy is a little super-star. Thought Joe did an amazing job on your bike.
Freddie I must admit at the beginning I was a nay sayer. I thought you should have got rid of the Bonny. Huge salute to Joe and Emily (The Wurks) and all involved in the revamp/repair/detailing , phenomenal job by all. Another quite beautiful video 😊. Get well soon Monika 😊
Another awesome video! Made us want to ride the DGR next year. Love the channel and all the friendly and kind commenters here. It restores my faith in humanity and especially in the motorcycling community every time I visit your channel. Speedy healing to Monika!
I attended the unveiling and thoroughly enjoyed it, I didn’t say hello but was impressed that you seemed exactly the same as you come over on your videos ! I don’t know why that surprised me ? 🇬🇧
Lovely job. Congratulations to all. If you want to keep it clean a proper front mudguard will help. I know the shortie looks good but it is a bit out of keeping with the rest of the bike now you have original indicators and the rack at the back.
Nice marigolds Freddie 😊 and what a great video. From the guy with the white chino's that rode 99% of the time directly behind you on the way to Hinckley HQ. Sorry we didnt chat... You was very popular!
Ohh Freddie, what Joe & Emily did to your Bonneville is pure magic! I watched all of the videos of everything they rebuilt, prepared, polished & created was amazing. Great to see you so happy to have it in your life & hands! I followed the unveiling live & it was pure perfection! Monika (bless her beautiful soul) was also there with you in spirit & hopefully is on the mend with the ear infection. Looking forward to your new adventures with the Phoenix. Great to also see your new found respect for your masterpiece ⭐️❤️
wow lovely to see the old gal back to 100% well done Joe. I met you at colchester when you broke down last year with the spark plug and it was lovely to met you, hope you are making it to the bike shed this weekend with the bonnie? keep up the videos freddie looking forward to see your next adventures with the bike.
Rode over from North Wales to see the reveal wow what an amazing job credit to Joe and all involved in the rebuild nice to see the great turnout and of course the sun .enjoy the bike
First visit recently. RE 650 owner interested in a second bike. No intention to waste time but very much interested in the new 400. Richard K was busy but had all the time in the world to show me the bikes Culture shock. I'm from the 80s when a dealer usually wanted you out of the showroom ASAP.
Great video as always... actually, you continue to get better and better to watch. The DGR looked like a real good day, and your restored Bonneville is divine. It is worth keeping forever, do that, and it will always make you happy.
What a beautiful day. I was brought up in Abbots Bromley In Staffordshire- not far away - but been overseas for 40 years since and so I am always fascinated in seeing the midlands again. It’s lovely to see Joe and his missus looking proudly upon their restoration of Freddie’s bike. We have the DGR in Hong Kong too… surprisingly we have many classic bikes that come out for the DGR. I used to ride my R1 to work wearing a suit everyday - laziness.
Lovely video Freddie, I am so delighted you have her back. What can one say about Joe and Emely apart from they are true to the biker spirit in every way.
Hi Freddie.....great to see you so happy with your Bonnie....I managed a few words on the day with you. I have so much enjoyed Joes and Emilie's video's of the re-build. Joe is a real perfectionist. At 71 I felt I needed to ride down to Tamworth on my 2020 T100 from near Liverpool.....quite a ride for me. Didn't expect to be riding with the DGR boys but I did.....cheating as I wasn't booked in.....but the very next day I found the East Birmingham DGR and made a donation to the fund.....a real worth while Event. As an added bonus....I got a few The Wurks Sticker of Emily. You Bonnie looks stunning freddie.....great video captured the day real well. Well done all involved. Nick.
Great to see the Bonnie back on the road again, and I just had a thought... Because you've obviously made a great friend in Joe, you could use the excuse of learning some of what he knows about bike repair as an excuse to keep in touch and hold meet-ups?
Literally had goosebumps seeing your resto modded bike. Looks tastefully done! A request: please do a video summarizing everything that's been done to it.
Wow! The Bonnie is back. Freddie please, please, please don't touch it with your tools never ever again or with a steam cleaner! 😂 Have fun you lucky fool and drive save! 😅💪✌️👍
Hello Freddie , saw you at the Tamworth start and at the Triumph factory, didn’t say hello as you were always engaged talking , what a great day and the weather was fantastic sandwiched between monsoon days!
Was really waiting for this episode. Jo and Emily did a magnificent job. I think you should do a detailed review on the bike, as if it were a new model/bike. Hope nothing ever temps you away from it.
Love love love this, great video and so good to see the Bonnie back in the road. Outstanding work….what a day, sun shining and lots of smiles and bikes. Can’t ask for more. It’s a shame Monika couldn’t make it. I hope she feels better soon.
My Bonneville was at 27.20 mins, I followed the GS550 from Long Eaton and was about deaf when we got to Triumph, he does not believe in baffles! Spoke to Joe but you were surrounded most of the time and looked like the Cat that got the Cream. Great job Joe and enjoy your new bike Freddie. Know what you need about a Bonneville, they are keepers.
I was one of the many (?) saying move on to a new, better bike. BUT i was wrong. And Joe has worked wonders. Well done all involved. Brilliant work.. Make sure it is a bike for life !!
Great video and what a long road to getting the bike back but what a bike to get back, you are so fortunate Freddie and Joe is so talented. Hope to see some new adventures on the Bonnie
Well done Freddie, I love your VLOGs, all your love and effort of travelling around that gives us a view what`s out there and naturally not to forget, your well explanations. Several thumbs up👍👍👍.Stay tuned. I will enjoy the next videos. Ps: The men who worked on your bike have well deserved an great applause.
Great video, good to see the Bonnie back better than new. One thing - can’t come to grips with the fact that already you’ve had nearly 14,000 views of this video, yet ONLY 1.7k people have bothered to hit the like button ???? LAZY AND INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE (unless of course the all hated it - then why are they watching ????) Keep doing what you’re doing Freddie and Monika, very informative and entertaining 😁🇦🇺👍
Really enjoyed the video and looked a good day out. The resurrection of the Bonneville has been really inspiring and I wondered if you Joe and Emily were planning an in depth video where you talk through the key points in the process and perhaps Joe can let us know how you go about learning some of his mechanical skills?
Joe is a keeper. Triumph (and all other motorcycle manufacturers, for that matter) can learn a thing or two from him. The attention to detail…the not settling for second best. Pipe dreaming, I know. Planned obsolescence is here to stay and the lifespan is getting shorter and shorter. Sad.
Another great video! Great to see your Bonneville! I took part in the DGR, Kildare, Ireland (Rep of). My first time to attend and there was a great selection of bikes there too! Great event and will definitely do it again next year.
It was so good meeting you the picture I have of you and buddy is bloody amazing can’t belive I took it lol 😂 I’m so crap At photos (normaly ) now keep that Bonnie clean your accountable now lol 😂 ❤
Look after that Bonneville Mr Dobbs it is a credit to Joe and his wife for doing such a fantastic job keep it clean and maintain it and it will last you for years love my Bonnie its a keeper for sure Cheers Gary
Talk about timing: mentioning how good a centre stand is when I've just had one fitted to my 2022 Bonneville T100. I missed having one so much, ever since I sold my Suzuki GS500F.
It was really nice meeting you in person and chatting both at Tamworth and at the Triumph factory. Hi, I was watching as you and Baba got your photo taken with Freddie, I’m sure it’s a great photo. Best Wishes
Great to hear from you Ponle, thank you so much for the kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you both!:)
Get well soon Monika! 🙁
I'm fully recovered now. Thank you for thinking of me! ☺️🙏
Hi Freddie. My wife and I have followed the channel for 3 years. It was such a pleasure to meet you in Tamworth and then ride with you to Triumph. Thanks for your kind words towards Freddie.
I tip my hat to you Freddie for keeping faith in the Bonnie.
I’m really surprised Triumph HQ didn’t jump in, given the social media presence both channels garnered. A missed opportunity, in my mind.
It has been a great story to follow that had a great ending! Phenomenal work by Joe!

Yesss, I remember the chinos! Thanks Wade😆🧤

Seeing your reaction to all of Joe’s work was the highlight of my point of this video!
Fabulously restored Bonnie that is now better than ever! Well done to all concerned!
This is where I bought my Thruxton from. Awesome shop and awesome staff.
The bike looks absolutely brilliant. Thank you for allowing Joe to save it from the breakers. What a result!
So good to see you reunited with the Bonneville, looking forward to all your future adventures!
I got emotional while watching you taking the bike from Joe. So lovely ❤❤❤❤
Great to see you and the bonnie back together. It was good to see the group of Sikhs at the DGR.

Superb. We had a brilliant day doing the DGR at Newcastle. Third year I've done it. Great day
I smiled throughout the all video! I'm so so happy for you Freddie! Cannot wait to see some coffee rides with Monika on the Bonneville! 🙌

Great meeting you at the triumph factory, what a lovely bloke you are, bike looked awesome, Joe’s done a top job. Shame Monica wasn’t there.
In fact that’s my classic 350 at 14:08
Nice one FD, great to hear somebody who is so content 👍
Sutton Motorcycles . 1st class dealer and excellent staff . have had many ,many machines from them .

Hello Freddie , saw you at the Tamworth start and at the Triumph factory, didn’t say hello as you were always engaged talking , what a great day and the weather was fantastic sandwiched between monsoon days!
Sorry we didn’t get to meet, Steve. It was an amazing day and unbelievably lucky with the weather!
Was really waiting for this episode.
Jo and Emily did a magnificent job.
I think you should do a detailed review on the bike, as if it were a new model/bike.
Hope nothing ever temps you away from it.
That bike needs to have a Wurks sticker on it

Freddie, one of the best vlogs ever...
The Dnepr was originally sold as the Neval Phoenix with hirise California style handlebars.
What a wonderful day it must have been.
I mised the bonnie glad she is back better than new. She looks great.

Really looking forward to your in-depth video on your reborn Bonneville :)
Freddy make sure you get that insured under its new value! I think it’s gone up a good 500%!
Very good point- I hadn’t thought of this
The Bonny looks superb Freddie. It's on you now, take good care of her.

So true, totally agree🖤🏍️
Freddie, the Bonnie looks like brand new! Enjoy!
🏁 quality youtube dood! you were the convincing person to take the leap to buy my Royal Enfield Dux Deluxe! I will keep watching.
Tip of the cap to Joe for rejuvenating your Bonnie (and to you for commissioning it), but Buddy the dog stole the show!
This video was an absolute pleasure to watch. Lottery winner, indeed! What a beauty.
Quite an interesting variety of motorcycles, I must say.
Look after that Bonneville Mr Dobbs it is a credit to Joe and his wife for doing such a fantastic job keep it clean and maintain it and it will last you for years love my Bonnie its a keeper for sure
Cheers Gary
Hope Monica feels better soon
Great to see you reunited with the bonnerville.
Talk about timing: mentioning how good a centre stand is when I've just had one fitted to my 2022 Bonneville T100. I missed having one so much, ever since I sold my Suzuki GS500F.
Safe miles, enjoy Freddie! The bike looks awesome!
