this didn't even feel like 5 minutes with the amount of information perfectly packed into this video. ive watched so many reviews and analyses on omori because i love it so much, and this is such a good one despite it only being 5 minutes. its spot-on. the irony of wanting to live in a video game reminds me of how i wish i had a neighborhood group of friends growing up to still have today, just like sunny.

I really like your analysis of omori! I completely agree with you. I guess the one difference in my experience was that I only wanted to be in the real world parts of the game because I found all of dreamspace and it's quests more of a chore than fun. Thank you for such an insightful video.

I was trying to look up Omori memes but I made a typo now I’m questioning reality
Considering the time constraint, this is really good. I think the game definitely has many parts to it and themes that can be derived such as its representation of trauma and the importance of forgiving yourself vs. the forgiveness of others, but this definitely touched on a big aspect of the game without really going into spoiler territory, which is impressive within itself.
I did catch what you said at the end, that this is what the game means to you but I feel the need to bring this up because of the title.
It's such an amazing game. It has a mix of literally everything, strategy, world exploration, battle, lovable and cute characters, funny moments, horror, depression and serious subjects. This game definitely one or my favorites.

subbed 2 min in, can't stop trying to comment how good pacing is in the middle of the video, video ends can't appreciate how on point this is, omori is really relatable project to me or anyone struggling with trauma, in game there's a world for escape, a world to face reality, but in the actual reality, there's no conveniently door-knocking jump scare to wake you up nor a friend like kel constant being a annoying piece of kel, whats most likely sadder is the actual reality but don't give up hope, there's ton's of possibility in life will back you up on track no matter you are traumatized or just don't wanna touch grass. Great video again, I think you will be above 60ksubs with video like this in the end of this year.
Omori is just so unique and outstanding from the other RPG games, like this game changes me physically and mentally. Each time I am reminded of it, I would have a mixed feeling of happiness and sadness, I expressed so many emotions on this game and is one of my most top rated and most recommended games not just because the Omocat (the creator) worked hard and thought day and night of this game but how it makes you feel like you understand the characters and in someway you could relate to them
Omori is a comfort game in my opinion and I love the meaning behind it.
Also this video was just great, it explained the game in just five minutes, I totally believe this desreves more love and hopefully in the future would get more attention!!
Wow, I did not know how much I needed this. When I first played omori, I was so scared of it I didnt even finish the game. Later on I found out the endings for the paths you can take online, but it still didn't bring any closure. I was distraught, this game wasn't giving me the satisfaction of a good ending, even in the best ending. But this video really pulls apart the mystery of the game. Its not supposed to be a downer game designed to make you depressed, not just a subversion of a cute rpg. Its a lesson. Thanks

The ending of this game pushed me to attempt to open up to the girl I was dating, only for her to not want to know about my past & all the events afterwards leading to me getting fired from my job. Honestly, that was an experience I needed to teach me more about who I am and what I want out of life. The friends who've stuck by me are worthy of keeping around for a lifetime and I know I can trust them with knowing a lot about me. At the same time, I don't feel it's necessary to tell them or anyone anything extra just to confirm how much they believe in me.
I think I'm fine with who I am. I know my flaws and now I realize they're so miniscule compared to the evils committed by everyday people. I think my kindness is what other people saw as weakness which is what led to such a grim outcome of me getting fired from my job and my reputation slandered.
Opening up about something eating away at you comes from the good others bestow upon you. In the same breath, it's our naivety that propels us to believing others are giving us the full version of themselves. It leaves us wide open to being destroyed.
Relationships are fulfilling and wonderful. In our ignorance, we mistake these as having to be so intimate and perfect the moment they start to bring us happiness. I believe good relationships are reciprocal and take work. A lot of time and effort.
This is my personal problem Omori pushed me to tackle head on and I idolize this game for allowing me to heal.

What an incredible video, I thought the beginning was a little slow when you were simply explaining the mechanics, but the the more I watched the more I got lost in your script. It was expertly written and delivered and felt really fresh. To convey such an interesting take on Omori in such a short amount of time, and with (almost) no spoilers is truly inspiring. I’ve been struggling with motivation to finish my next video project and watching this really help me get more motivated. if you are at all collaborating on a video or would simply indulge me, I would love to talk to you more in depth about your process.
