Finally! I've been waitng for this review) It would be very interesting to see Your comparison between CADA McLaren P1, which was a 7 years old Bricklink project and the LEGO's P1. I followed that project for many years and do really think it is much better executed
Very interesting perspective! I'm not a supercar guy but I really like this model and it looks just as good as the official kit. Good job LoxLego! My only concern is the wobbly rear hatch and spoiler. Ultimately the end result is stunning!
Looks pretty nice. Wheels aren’t correct but looks like there may be options for that. But you nailed it when you said it requires a commitment. That’s a lot of money for a non branded F40. I think the price for the instructions is fair, but the extra 200+ on top of the Daytona makes this a pricey build. The F40 is my all time favorite car, but for that money the Speed Champions and Creator sets will have to do.
There is an F40 (MOC 42143) that is a straight alternate build of the Daytona. I think it looks fantastic and it's far cheaper. Would love to see a video on that.
@@damienthomas8541 I suposse so. That alt build does indeed look great (too), and being a straight alt build, it saves the hassle of sourcing extra parts.
Small note on the window crank. There are F-40's that don't have one, those use a small hand sliding piece in the side window. To be honest I never looked good enough at every different F-40 to know whether any did have a crank, my 1:18 Burago model and at least one from a video didn't have one.
some early models used the sliding piece, the vast majority of the later cars used the hand crank, unsure how many of each given how vague the production numbers for F40s were
just this morning I was staring at my Lego sp3 and thinking what MOC I could make with it, the only other f40 I saw had terrible rear light but this looks great. I also built the hoonicorn v2 from the last video and attached the American flag from the moonlander set
Yah, amazing designer. I bought 3 plans from him a month ago I'm about done with collection the parts needed to build the MOCs. And yes, I'm about at the price of a retail Lego P1, but that's including the custom chrome kit and stickers. I was able to buy used SP3/Sian sets, so that really helped as well. I would also suggest watching a few videos on how to use bricklink. Using Bricklink functions like creating want lists will help you build lists of parts you need most often really help. You can activate these lists in the seller's shop and it'll tell you whether the part is available AND if on sale. Stocking up on parts on sale greatly reduces the price/part cost as it helps defer shipping costs.
Yes, friends and family help building, because there is A LOT to build :) I've been thinking about opening positions to help with reviews as well, but I've yet to figure out how that might go effectively.
Some Chinese brand already ripped this design. But if you buy the instructions from rebricable, it’s a cheap way to get the parts. I did have to swap out some parts in th egearbox to genuine Lego pieces as it didn’t work otherwise.
Sadly, needing to buy additional parts is the only reason I need to not bother with such custom builds :( (never mind the fact that I don't own the Daytona, or can afford it, but that's besides the point)
You can easily find similar prices at certain Bricklink stores if you want to submit a single order only. If you take your time and order parts from 10 or even more different places then you can have a much better price, but that requires some time investment.

Thanks for reviewing my F40! Thoroughly enjoyed the video ❤
Lego should hire people like you ,so they can have real lego fans creators
You are really talented

I can only imagine the amount of effort that went into this moc, great job man!
I follow U on Instagram, Love your work
Damn, that thumbnail had me all excited for a large Technic F40 set. Looks fantastic.
2:37 the flex axle is a nice touch,F40 doesnt have a door handle from inside, you use a cable to open and close the door
I really enjoy watching your reviews about custom LEGO Technic models 👍.

Loxlego Is a wizard!
Tak!
Thank you!

I have Lox’s Ken Block build. That’s stunning itself!! The guys a genius!!

Is that the one by timtimgo?

@@damienthomas8541thanks, yes it is. You will be surprised what next straight alt build is coming from the McLaren P1
Imádom a Rebrickables-es sorozatot, ezt ne hagyd abba Balázs!❤
I just built this a few months ago! Beautiful design and a great Ferrari
Oh this one looks really nice. Always wanted a technic F40 set, this one in a bit out of my price range though. Still a pretty lit set.

Great revoew as always!
It is the best MoC in 1:8 in the Market! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
U could put some motors to the gearbox and steering system to make it remote controlled
3:58 I think these are the 3d printed rims I designed ! Hope you enjoyed them !
Yes they are, great design! They'll be also featured in my upcoming video focusing again on 3d printing ;)
Thanks a lot, can't wait to see that video !
best notification ever❤
I love the F40

Yes, but the "other F40" is a 100% alternate build
@@timtimgo_lego yeah I didn't realise that until I watched the video rip
A great rebrickable model, I epuld love to see a F50 but maybe that's a bit too round bit a Enzo would work.

Excellent!
"One of my team members" Do you have team members? That is super cool! You should open positions so we can apply too :)

Would love to see you do a review of the 220907 Technic Zonda-R I keep seeing. I have been very tempted to pick it up.
WOW !! This dude is badass !! ^^
Realy like this video
Still waiting for some classic dodge muscle in icons I think it'd be neat, imagine the charger daytona
I saw a great design for a technic 1/8 Pagani Huayra BC, do that one
Did that say €900? Madness.
its 100 euros more than the daytona
It's because loxlego
Please more moc reviews
Nice Video, is there a STL File for the Rims?
Id be interested in cars in 1/10 scale! 1/8 is kinda big for a display :)
11 year old me bought the creator expert f40 in 2015 not knowing it’d be a better investment than gold 💀
The real rear and front cover is wobbly too
That Big f-40 lol (f0.04 vs 0.40 vs 40 vs 400) xD 😂😅
We need another creater expert f40 the old one is good but not perfect If we get new one with updated pieces this will be insane

Dang way bigger than my new lego Ferrari from 2024
venom f5 please
Long live bootlego #lepin
You are Hungarian?
Who are your team members? You ahould show them in a video.
That's the one lego should have made
Can you do Porsche 918 to complete the holy trinity?
It looks like Blockzone built a copy of this MOC, they look very similar. Nice build though
Loxlego looks great, but a little costly.
Sadly, needing to buy additional parts is the only reason I need to not bother with such custom builds :( (never mind the fact that I don't own the Daytona, or can afford it, but that's besides the point)
2:00 They are taking a piss with those prices lol. Why promote such scam?

Just use Webrick (mid quality) or Wobrick (high quality because GoBricks)
Hy, can you share with us info for printed wheels? Thank you!
I have a recent video with the Bambu Lab printers, you can find the links there
