Your movements seem almost effortless. My friend in the nursing home is struggling. He is 83 years old and an above the knee left leg amputee for 4 years. He doesn't get enough exercise so at 227 pounds he wobbles and has a very hard time. He was very strong before the amputation but now only uses his arms to move in his wheelchair very slowly. Ideas? You are a fantastic teacher. Thank you.
Sounds like most of your friend's problem is psychological. It's hard, but he needs a "made up mind" to succeed. For peer support, call the Amputee Coalition of America. And I'll help all I can.
@@bill2277 Wow, I can't believe that you taught yourself. This is an extremely difficulty task, and yet you make it look so easy. Thank you so much for sharing this footage with us. I already subscribed to your channel, and I will be watching all of your other videos.😃
I had an arctic aneurysm 6 years ago. They had to cut the oxygen off from my limbs during surgery to keep a flow to my brain. It cost me my limbs, but it saved my life!!! Thanks for watching! Please share.
This is the best video I have seen so far. I'm an above knee double amputee and this video is quite helpful. Thanks a lot.
Thanks very much!
Thank you so much for sharing this, I'm an Occupational Therapist and found this really useful. A technique I can try with my patients :)

@@bill2277 thank you!
You are a very smart gentleman. Did someone teach you or did you teach yourself?
I had to teach myself. We tried different ways in re-hab, but nothing worked sufficiently.
