He always went out with his friends and was nice to his relatives. But when i asked for help it was never willingly given. He spent 18 hours on the phone and when i asked for just 10 min to help me in my work he point blank refused. I stayed in the marriage for my 4 kids. But finally when i heard he was looking for another wife...i thought enough is enough. I need a husband who will be there for me and who i can trust. Not just a brood mare. I pulled my weight in the family ...providing half the income...and yet he complains i don't keep a clean house or i'm not loving enough! Women need to feel valued, and they need to be able to trust the husband will always be there for them and will take care of them.
Oh Allah, please let our men also not be the one who is egoistic because of being man and let them know that if any man are more intelligent than any women that is not because of his being man, let them know they can be wrong and women can instruct them. Both have their duties and not the ustadhs advise the women to obey their husbands , but Allah says so. You cant just take something and leave the other as you wish. Stop attacking anyone who advises women, this reaction is sinply immature. There are lectures about men and there are lectures about women. Take both , not just the one you like. I know we will in a world where many men abuse their position and want to be treated like kings while treating their wives like scum. But that doesnt mean we cant give lectures to women in general. There are many women with humble husbands who do mistakes in marriage too. Its not always men. Aslong as women stay like that, families wont be as good as they used to be. Always this "men abuse, men dont treat good, stop lecturing women" like what the heck, such behaviour is disgusting. It shows that many women are not able to reflect and check themselves. They dont admit mistakes anymore and hate advice. Such individuals will have a hard time in marriages.
