Cesar Romero was goofy and comical. Always got a laugh from his portrayal of Joker. Nicholson was funny, but in a dark and sinister way, which made his Joker portrayal pop. Ledger was just witty and charismatic amidst all the chaos his Joker was causing, hardly any laughs, but smiles all around.
Out of all the Jokers so far, Jack Nicholson had the most joker-like facial expression, while not exactly looking alot like the character from a body perspective.
@@MXedits_1i was just thinking yeah his smile is probably the most similar to the comic joker, heath did a great job for what the dark knight was meant to do but when it comes to literally making a comic book in real life jack takes the cake with that smile
Heath ledger gave it psychopathic or disordered person on the other hand jack gave it satiric violent childish one like Stanley Kubrick clock orange vibe it is different both were amazing tbh
Yeah for sure, Nicholson's Joker is like the quintessential 'Gangster Joker' since the film came out. Both are awesome top tier renditions of the character, my fave's for sure (as well as Mark Hamill, obvs)

Heath ledger played a good joker. But Jack Nicholson would always be the best in my opinion. He’s the joker ripped out of the comic and put on screen 👍🏾
My favorite movie Joker. Heath Ledger played an excellent crazy person. Phoenix brilliantly portrayed an uncomfortably relatable character. Jack Nicholson played The Joker.
In my opinion, he's still the best joker. Jack brought the comic relief with the murderous rage of a killer to another level. He acted goofy, to the point in which was just so profound you didn't always realize you were watching a villain.
I’d like them to do something with the whole 3 jokers story line, one played by jack, one by Defoe, and the other by the kid from the Gotham series Cameron.
For anyone's wondering yes you can be allergic to Spirit Gum because of the fragrance in it, I'm extremely allergic to it and have gotten chemical burns from it but luckily there is a water based version of it and I've used it and it worked like a charm. So yeah Jack might just be allergic to fragrance in it
Jack and Heath were both excellent. However, I'm not a fan of the Joker movie or Jared Leto in Suicide Squad. I don't consider those characters the real Joker...just criminals in clown makeup. If there's no Batman there's no Joker as far as I'm concerned. A brief Batman cameo in SS doesn't count. The "Joker" movie didn't have enough funny moments either. I enjoyed it when he "punched out" of his work shift by punching the punch out clock off the wall. The movie needed more moments like that.
He definitely was an iconic Joker. Right next to Hamill. He was Jack as Joker. Through and through. I only give it to Heath because he totally was *transformed* into Joker. He was completely unrecognizable. Joaquin to me is "Carnival" not Joker. Same thing with Pattinson is "Vengeance" not Batman. They are unique and new takes on the character while still holding somewhat to the core that makes them work. Just told in a new refreshing light. Some things work while some don't- that why I call them their alternate names as it works for THOSE characters not necessarily for the Joker and Batman as we all know them.
Nicholsons joker has always been particularly terrifying and unsettling for me. The mixture of intelligent ruthless mob boss and psychotic serial murdering clown in bright clothes with a permanent grin is just horrifying.
