- We bring you another Barndominium Tour today. This Barndominium is 1,500 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath. Floors are sealed concrete, not color. Cabinets are custom built and countertops are granite. Another beautiful barndo! I love the flat faced cabinetry and the stain color that goes all through the house for trim and doors.
As always your finished Barndos are impressive. Beautiful alder wood through out, gorgeous cabinets and kitchen. And the owners idea of the overhead door on the north wall is ingenious.
There's always beauty in simplicity. I would love to build one like it.
The floor is unbelievable!! Beautiful!!! I think close to the best I've seen from all your barndos! I'm blown away by how perfect it looks!! And the doors are so nice! I usually always go for the barn doors, but those are really impressive! The showers....Killer!! So awesome. Great looking place, Quality. As usual!! You & your crew are it!! No comp. No one comes close. So annoyed now if I watch some other builder, can't even listen to them for more then 5 mins. They go on & on.....blah,blah.....And their builds are half ass!! No love, no pride. Keep doin what you do!!!💜

it's gorgeous love the floors no carpets awesome. instead of stove right there I'd make it fireplace.give me regular stove and walk in pantry since kitchen cabinets got jipped.I'd also want built in bookcases and more built-in

The floors are gorgeous!
Things I look for are a decent size kitchen with plenty counter top and cabinet space, a pantry, a nice size laundry room, a master bedroom with enough versatile space to fit a California King with two night stands and room to spare on each side of the bed, a master bathroom with both a garden soaking tub and a walk in shower.

Average 2500 sq foot homes at 128 per foot , that’s 320k seems a bit expensive one could definitely buy the gutted prefab and handle most the interior construction solo at one third that cost .
Sigxo45 l agree that is expensive for a kit purchased to build the home. l would contact out and not have them add on cost above what is actually paid to private contractors.

Sigxo45 - these walls cannot even stop projectiles coming outta a pellet gun. These so called houses are nothing but oversized and glorified sheds.

Eric, you have a great channel and I admire the fact that you are a perfectionist. I would go with an all tile backsplash instead of the short granite backsplash with tile above it. Just my opinion. You guys do great work. If I lived anywhere near you I would have a Barndominium.

My deckhand always used to ask me: ¿Qué más quieres? What else do you want. This is about all I would want for two retired people and could see a reloading space in there. Hopefully we will be in the area if you do throw a greet and meet. Poteet? I need some stuff from Tuttle's Tractor for my Polaris anyway.
Definitely nice work and a beautiful home, BUT, if it were mine, I would modify this so bedroom 2 is where Bath 2 is and have a master bath attached to the master bedroom. But I do love the simplicity of it while being very nicely done.

Nice video. Nice build and design. So much open space. Love the floor coating, could have customized (marbleized) for a price, and would have opted for another full bath with laundry room. Carport I'd have oped for a garage - but a cost.

Probably 250k
They quote 110/150 sq foot finished depending on the interior finishes
Makes no sense. People who build these over a proper house are not saving money.
We just had a building done 2400 sq foot for $40,000 that’s without doing the inside done.

Coming in from the rain with wet footwear , might be a tad slippery ? dangerous.....I know u r supposed to remove footwear but we have all done it and ran inside when rain hits..can't see that being very safe ~ but it does look pretty snazzy..

Like others have already said those floors are awesome. Love the carport idea too, the nice thing is if you decide in the future you want a garage you’re not that far from it. Do you have any videos that explain the difference in panel types and gauge of steel used? I’m not familiar with “R” and “D” panel.
Had to re-watch "that pretty ingenious idea" three times before I got it. (I am a wee bit slow in the genius department). QUESTION: Could a barn door be used in a similar method? My intent would be to keep pesky nesting and perches of insect/ bird/ owls at a minimum, avoiding the OHD tracks. And there's the aesthetic of using a barn door that leaves me giddy. Any wisdom in that thought? Thanks TB!
Yes, barn door can be used but they don’t seal as good.

Love the floors! Question- I’m having some TI’s done - in a new building, 3000 feet, would you seal the floor the same way? Question 2- in barndo 62 in the bedroom the glass garage door goes up and disappears. Does it go above the bedroom ceiling or out over the porch?

What kind of foundation does the slab sit on?
That concrete floor looks cold and uncomfortable for kids to play on. The counter tops and back splash is too busy and I don’t like the color of them. The shower is too deep. It kind of looks like a cave. And it needs crown molding in all the rooms.
We can build yours any way you want it. That’s the beauty of being a custom builder, we built to our customers specs. :)

I just watched your Christmas video about tips for construction.
You said to make it air-tight. What do you use to exchange inside and outside air so it doesn't get stale?
Also I would consider heated floors throughout for mine.

What size are the rooms, and showers …..so we can get a feel for size...….that's a huge thing when looking at plans,...…...a 24 foot wide living room looks a lot smaller on plans than in real life. My guess is that one was 18 or 19 feet wide.... by maybe 30 deep
