      I was 34 and called Mom's phone and she didn't answer so I called my dad and said "where's my mommy I think I have the flu." They were together but her phone was on silent, he just hands the phone over and said "she wants her mommy, she thinks she has the flu" 🤣 turned out to be a three week virus, this was right before COVID became a known thing so I'm pretty sure I had an early strain of COVID

      I get your point, but idk felt kind of disrespectful toward nurse's. It's a HARD education & job.. they can't be idiots to made it trough & can be used in an ER. That takes some special skills!

    Matthew went through the windscreen - a seat belt would have prevented that and likely most of his injuries. Please, wear seat belts and make sure everyone in the vehicle has one on too - a body flying around can kill everyone else in a vehicle, be safe friends!

    Motorbike accidents are awful. I don’t understand how people can put themselves at that level of risk every day. My brother lost a friend to a motorbike accident, and it was the same as most of these accidents. It isn’t the bike rider that drives poorly, it’s the rest of the people.

    • @DeputatKaktus
      @DeputatKaktus 6 місяців тому +1

      This is why we learn to ride like we are invisible. Because in some cases, we actually are. We disappear behind A-pillars or trees or parked cars. It is also nearly impossible for car drivers to judge how fast we are going, especially if they see us head on. From any other motorist‘s perspective we appear like a bolt from the blue with them having zero time to react. As a motorcycle rider you have to think for everyone else and be prepared for other people doing completely dumb shit. Mentally you need to be at least 50 meters ahead of your bike and anticipate other people’s actions. You must never get „behind the bike“, i.e. into a state where you are purely reactive instead of proactive. This is where many bikers fall short, because they often just focus on what is directly in front of them.
      Some of us (me included) wear hi-vis gear. It’s not because we think it’s fashionable or because we like looking like a radioactive banana. We want others to see us.

    Why is a person allowed to participate in a contact sport with a Spinal injury & under the care of specialist..I think its totally irresponsible on The Clubs involved & irresponsible of Kaitlin as she is 18yrs old..This irresponsible behavior is a blight on Emergency services..maybe take up swimming.

    • @philiphayes6733

      As long as the injury was stable at the time and not causing any problems you can do it. Sports clubs have physios and doctors its not like she was doing it on purpose? If you want to play feel free imo.

      You're disorientated. You thought you were watching an American program but this is Australian. Australia uses British English, where your "disoriented" is actually "disorientated". So, um...keep reading, yep. 😉 Try some British or Australian authors 👍😁
