I aspire to be so filled with focus, and yet so at ease with chaos that she can weave so much with every fiber life gives her, making every instant another lovely braid.

This woman is magical to me, everyday, I listen to her poetry/music, and her haunting voice, and I try to emulate her singing voice, we sing mostly in the same key, but her range is far beyond me.I understand her lyrics and what she is trying to express. People like her dont come around often, and I believe she is a gift. When Im struggling with being Bi polar or feeling anxious, or having self doubt, I sit in my room and just listen to the beauty and the soul of Fiona. Thank you for getting me through some very tough days.Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. Thank you for just being you.
I’m just now seeing this. Never Is A Promise is one of my favorite songs of all time, like in a very serious way. It is absolutely beautiful, but the emotion, that’s my feelings in bold living color and it’s been cathartic to me at so many points in my life. I can understand that would possibly be very heavy to perform, especially over and over on tour. I’m sure you’ll never see it, but thank you so much for that song. ❤️ And PLEASE come to Nashville again!

I just watched the sessions at studio 54 my goodness girl "Never a Promise" whips my ass every time. You are so freak'n brilliant! The chordal movement in that tune is like Bach. Prince dreamed of being able to do that. Then you combine that with the greatest lyrics you can imagine, combine that with a vocal that cuts into my soul and proves that I actually have a soul. You have done it your first three albums are so far above the rest that one day they will do tributes to you. Just imagine the same 10 acts we get for every award show destroying your music what an honor.
