  • This is the first segment in a series of videos where we show simple projects you can get done with equipment from Townline. This week we used our BX1880 compact tractor to spread compost and till it into the soil for our garden. The BX1880 is Kubota's entry level compact tractor for residential use and is a great tractor for property owners with .5 to 5 acres of land. I want two attachments for my 3 year old BX 1880 and the first is a good usable set of Quick attach forks and the second is of course a Roto Tiller. The tiller you are using would be perfect for my well established garden but would like to know if you had to cut the PTO shaft in order to hook it to your BX. Thanks.

Nice video, does the rototiller fit on the G1880 as well I wonder

Too bad it has no engine. My Gravely zero turn has 23 Hp. We need faster turning tillers. We need tillers to run like a Mantis tiller and make the soil like powder.

Is that tiller too much for this tractor? I was thinkingvthey recomment at least 15 pto hp?

This tiller/tractor combo works quite well for personal use. If you had tough soils or very compacted ground you may find the BX1880 to be on the low end of horse power.
