What do you think? Should we behave online so as to purposely get kicked off of various social media platforms? Would that be evidence of a living faith?

I'll be honest, he's soured for me. Not because of you, but because of the times he's used autistic as a derogatory term, specifically towards alleged false teachers. I asked him to stop, he refused. As an autistic person myself, it's rather disheartening.

I used to subscribe to AD’s channel, but left his channel. The reason I left was because he stirs up quarrels within the church rather than spending time and speaking God’s truth from His Word. There are some bad leaders in the American church, but instead of spending time quarreling with them, I would much rather listen to someone that reads from God’s Word and speak the Lord’s truth.
To advocate meanness on Twitter/X isn’t what we are called to do (see Titus 3:1-11).

I never get this vibe from listening to AD Matt. For example He was very helpful concerning the Woke Church movement from the likes of Keller, Matt Chandler, David Platt etc. You actually need guys who will step up and call out teachers within the Church. I don't see that as stirring up quarrels. It's my opinion but I think sometimes we disagree more with someone's personality rather than what they are actually saying.

@@dougdozier8782 Building on your last point, I've known people that respect someone that tells them, "Shut up, dude, you're being a moron," and have zero respect for someone who says, "I'm concerned." But Paul spoke of being able to be all things to all people. I take this to mean he was able to relate to people from all over the Mediterranean world, regardless of their backgrounds.
The Holy Spirit can help us in this regard, showing us how to relate to different people. While someone like AD might need me to tell him, "Come on, man, that's dumb," likewise, folks like him should recognize that winsome isn't a four letter word. Such a fellow might need to say, "I'm concerned" once in a while, depending on the audience.

@@reformedpilgrimThanks for the response. I actually don't think AD would disagree with your statement. But then again I can't speak for him. There is a perceived "Winsomeness" used that is a default by some who disagree with other brothers in Christ. It is seen as more "loving" or more "spiritual" but it's actually neither and really about one's own personal preference. I'm actually fine with this I just wish brothers would just admit that instead of cloaking it with spiritual "Winsomeness." But then again that's just my opinion. I'm a nobody

@@dougdozier8782 This is where we have a disconnect. I don't see winsomeness as being "spiritual," but rather, it's about behavior; it's about how you say things, and how you act. Some Christians respect winsomeness. Others clearly do not.

The disparity between your dialog volume and commercial volume was very large...

AD and Joel follow Scripture rather than edicts of modernity. They're going to seem weird to you in as much as you value modernity.

I didn't appeal to any edicts of modernity in this video. I did appeal to Scripture, however, at about 1:53 & 6:11.

Very insightful content brother. Thank you for sharing this. I think you handled this topic with grace and Christ likeness. Personally I didn't feel you were being mean spirited at all. Unfortunately there is a level of immaturity and pettiness that seems to be prevalent in AD's comment section. Moreover, his conduct, demeanor, and (tone in particular) on this platform (UA-cam) have been brought to his attention before on a number of occasions and it seems to have no impact on his overall presentation as evidenced by some of his continued antics (mocking, voice imitations, and name calling to name a few) and rhetoric regarding those within the body he takes issue with. So the fact that you're showing concern over some of the troubling observations you've made is an encouraging sign. You are not wrong to be concerned about how the content that comes from channels like his and many others impacts the body. So at this point if he should end up getting kicked off of UA-cam for as you put it at the beginning of your video "being so annoying that you get put in Twitter jail" or in his case UA-cam jail... then all they'd have to do is look at many of his previous uploads as evidence against him😕. As Christian's if we honestly think that the world is turning against us then if we have to share platforms with unbelievers we shouldn't give them ammunition to use in their efforts against us on any platform. Acting intentionally annoying is not only unChrist like but it's also unfruitful. Just my opinion. I just found your channel by the way so keep up the good work😎👍.
    God bless you brother!

I agree 100%. I have gone back and forth with Robles in his comment section about his conduct and have been met with scorn and derision by him and his followers. He is incredibly arrogant and divisive.

I've never watched AD Robles but from what you said here, it sounds like he's going to far and thinking he's pleasing God in doing so. I have gone to far myself in commenting to folks on youtube. I need to be more gracious and peacful.

Same here. It’s one thing if we share the gospel, or read what Scripture says about how God made humans male and female in His image, or that Christ is the only way to the Father, and receive pushback from the world.
It’s another thing if I’m trying to be annoying so I can get thrown off Twitter and claim that as my good works. It seems like AD is advocating for the latter, or something like it.
