- In this video we explore an Abandoned Glass Mansion From 13th Ghost Found In The Middle Of Nowhere Getting 13th ghost vibes from this place! It was built in the 80s and abandoned in 2003! So many rumors about this place that a druglord lored lived here or an Arabian prince but I think the dude just went bankrupt and left it.

NP Steve!! Take of yourself☺I love your videos, you are adorable!!
No worries bro ... ;)
Ur Shyte is haunted

What state was this in Steve?
Wow Steve, you were in my neck of the woods! This home was built by a Saudi prince in 1979. He purchased the property for $6 million but then sold the property to a development partnership in 1986 for $16 million. The 12,000 sq-ft home has an indoor pool and squash courts. He only lived there for a month before abandoning it. In 1996 another developer purchased the property and opened a golf course but it went under. Around 2013 the owner at the time was arrested for a $5 million Ponzi scheme involving his purchase of the golf course/property. In 2016 it went back on the market as a golf course with plans to renovate the mansion. Obviously that never happened. Basically, it's a money pit due to the attached golf course. I'd post a link to the articles but I don't want to give away the location. Hope you can get in!
EDIT: I didn't disclose the location out of respect for Steve's wishes. It's not hard to find. Take my research and figure it out for yourself. (The ones being rude about it are likely the ones that will destroy it.)
Great information, thank you.
Thank you!
Based on all that great information you shared, it would not be hard at all to find out where it's at, just saying.
@Sherry Rose Paeonian VA
Stealth Finger May I ask where you got your information because the website I was looking on said the house was built in 1981.
I about fell obwr and died of laughyer wjen he said "that's a huge radar" honey you must be young because that's a satilite for TV like old school dish network before there was google fiber. Lol
SAME. 😂🤣😂🤣
I said same thing!!-!😂
So true! Bahahaha😂😂🤷😂
Exactly! 🤣 I’m 40 so he must be 20
@@christopherpooler5398
Me too!! I even made my husband watch and we laughed together!!
My father still has a huge one out on his property and the grandkids made a pretty cool fort out of it!!
Literally wasted 25 minutes of my life just to watch three guys walk around in circles talking to each other about a mansion that we didn’t even get to see the inside of.
Thanks saved me 23 minutes lol
I was 12 minutes in & said hell naw! 😂
tHANK U, i'M ABOUT TO WATCH IT.
Screw that. Im only interested on the inside.
Thank you for the update. People like you are why I go straight to the comments.
The house in 13 ghosts was built on set, this isn’t the same house. Still really neat though. The house they used to film was built from scratch with glass and steel beams.
No the house in that movie was a movie set combined with CGI
@Whiteboy14 Really, how is what I replied with, what he said when the abbreviation CGI mentioned anywhere in his reply?.
Who's the moron now?
Cause you know that shut up
I was gonna say thats not the house because most of the original was built with glass walls inside and not even that the house had a big atrium style area in the front of the house. And
Its an eco house. The grass keeps the heat in and its better for water absorbtion. Architects are using it alot more nowadays.
Why would you want good water absorption on your roof? Couldn't that cause leaks in the ceiling? I'm not asking to be mean or a smarta** I really want to know:) thank you in advance:)
not sure about the water absorption bit but built into the hill that way is too keep cost down on heating and cooling... building underground requires a lot less to heat and cool going just a few into the mountain can make it so those parts of the place do not require any heating or cooling as it will stay a steady degree year round
@@dennisparker7541 I would guess the glass everywhere would balance those cost savings out. It must have been ridiculously hot in there during summertime without A.C
We have a lot of glass and it's unbearable in summer time even with windows completely shut.
The grass insulates from extreme heat and cold. The glass allows natural light and heat during cold months. There appeared to be some older solar panels on one part of the roof that would power the ventilation system that would assist in keeping it a bit cooler in summer months.
I also wouldn't be surprised if there's a rain water collection system in addition to a deep well for house water 👀
You guys explained it perfectly ..This old lady learned something today..Thank You for the knowledge ..Stay blessed and safe..
All that glass must have been a nightmare for the maids to clean.
Window cleaners,**
Maids don't do windows...that's a WHOLE separate job
@Jazzy AndCool not the smart ones
And expensive to heat and cool with all that glass
No maid is gonna clean those high windows. Gonna have to hire window cleaners once every so often. They will clean ones they can reach but they re not gonna get on any ladders that’s for sure. I pay my house cleaners bi weekly, they don’t even clean my upper windows and they are house cleaners.
After watching this I fell back to sleep and had a dream that I was there exploring it with Steve and the guys! There were lots of UA-camrs there as well and we got inside. It was so real. Great dream! I used to explore empty and abandoned places when I lived in Colorado. I miss it. These urban explorers are inspiring me to do it again!
Love, love, love this home!!! Gorgeous property!!! Love the structure!!! Yes, make it your home! Check out the origin 1st! Good luck & thank you for sharing this fabulous property!!!❤️
Been watching a long time now, watching this and the intro made me actually think , how amazing it is the places you've been and the buildings you've explored. You have taken us places we would never ever have imagined . I thank you , big time thank you for sharing your adventures, stay safe and wishing you well for the future . From Scotland UK
Beware of ticks guys in long grass ,they're nasty little buggers that can cause long term illness .
It's called Beacon Hill located just outside Leesburg, Va. It has issues such as water, but not haunted.
@Whiteboy14 Bitch, did I say it was?
@@karenc2796 Hahaha I love the energy

Wow someone needs a vitamin 🤣
@ChillyCloth I would have ran too LMAO.
No it's Hidden Hills
Would love to see the inside of this massive & unique mansion. Those windows leading to that view is incredible. Also, anyone else think it ironic a golf course on the property with all those windows?! Sounds like a horrible decision. 😂
Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones - or golf balls! LOL
Would LOVE a part two. This would be an EPIC adventure exploring that interior!
Well it’s definitely NOT the “13 Ghosts” house! I’ve seen that movie a hundred times..... but it is cool.
That house is in Vancouver BC
Well it was a movie set house built in Vancouver BC. Specially made so they wouldn’t get reflections
Thanks for not letting me be the only one that needed to correct that! Was driving me nuts!! Lol
I think he was basically saying it looked like and reminded him of the 13 ghosts house many times during the video. He said he wasnt sure it was but it looked and reminded them of it.🤷♀️😁
Honest i believe this is the home the movie was inspired by and after all these years its STILL abandoned an not in Use.THERES A REASON ITS SHUT DOWN LIKE THIS. Weather its state reasons or safety reasons. Its a beautiful home but wouldn't dare ENTER..
Steve I'm really disappointed you made a 25 minute video on a house you couldn't get in. I guess the good thing is it didn't really look all that spectacular on the inside. My curiosity lies in what's under the house!!
I'm thinking maybe a bunker.
Brittany Lanning At least they didn’t break in. It’s someone’s property and if thugs were allowed in the place would be destroyed inside with spray paint and walls busted out destroyed. So at least these guys don’t break the law.
@@MrJrsdts Don't break the law? 😂 They break the law every time they enter a building or step foot on someone else's property. No I'm not saying they should've busted a window out to enter, I'm saying he shouldn't have posted a 25 minute long video of the outside of a house. Yea the house was amazing and worth showing but 25 minutes? Of them just wandering around? No not worth 25 minutes. Maybe adding it to the beginning of another video and telling the viewer there was no entry point but he still thought we would enjoy the house then proceed to another house would've been a better option. You completely missed the point of my comment.
And I’m really disappointed that I have to scroll through the comments and literally see your opinions on every other comment. Like no one cares✌🏼
@@Lexyf05 Then don't read them, simple as that, but get used to it cuz I comment on a lot of posts. That's what the comment section is for. I really could care less if I disappoint some strange person on the internet that I do not know. Wtf? 😂
If you find random bones laying about outside like that (especially in rural, natural, & wild places), it simply means that there are or were scavenging species in that area that scattered the bones around after the initial predation, it's not weird at all, & they can scatter them quite far.
It's all done for drama. Excitement
ya a Wolf will play with a bone like a dog i’ve seen it before
Does it bother anybody else he keeps saying “The 13th Ghost”? lol. It’s just “Thirteen Ghosts”. Not the 13th Ghost. 😂
Yeah....and it's not the same house 🙄
Yes LOL
Didn't really notice till you pointed it out. You are correct but it doesn't matter, I knew what he was talkin bout.
Yep. Started with the title of video!🤣
Yess🤣🤣
Thats most definitely a ` Scarface Staircase" looks so beaufiful. The owner really had taste, love the house. I hope no one comes over to destroy those beautiful windows.
Great video Steve. So glad to see how respectful you guys are. That was a really creepy place you went to. Too many things you could think might have happened there. The bones would have freaked me out! Thank you for sharing. 😊🇺🇸
This is what we did for fun as kids, drive around at night looking for the old houses but never mansions! Thanks for bringing us along! So fun but safe in my house lol. God bless you all, stay safe. Always pray for protection & you'll be fine.
So my girl walked in and asked what I was watching lol, she said all she heard was "We are getting wet for you" and "look how big it is" and wanted to see what the hell I was watching. Thanks! LMAO
Lmao
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I spit my wine out
LMFAO .
Thats a deer bone. Probably carried up there by coyotes. They sometimes fight and go their separate ways with what they won in the fight.
That leg bone was far too long to be a deer bone. If that were a deer bone, where was the knee joint? Certainly not that far down the bone. This was a human femur with part of the knee attached and I would say it was female.
Imagine how the coyotes sound out there..sigh ! I would love to live there, really want to see the inside!
Thank you I was wondering what kind of bone that is,😇
@@FrankiesFancy OH it's a human bone OKAY WOW maybe the bone NEEDS to be analyzed for d.n.a,🥺

Not radar 📡 Steve it's what we had in the 80's as satellite dishes. My friend's parent's had a dish so big you could feel it moving in their house.
DirecTV used to have a 6' diameter dish! I've seen them behind old abandoned homes a few times.
My best friend had one in her backyard before Internet, it must have been 10-12 feet across, it was huge lol . It’s used to get tv stations from further away. Or they were anyways
@@kanadiankandy6647 Back in the 80's & 90's they got television stations from other countries. people in the US could watch foreign television channels.
Joey Barrelwilde oh I know lol that’s what I was saying. It was awesome lol
Radar😂😂😂
A three car garage “they probably parked three cars there once “🤣🤣🤣😂😂
That house is so beautiful 😍 , such a shame it’s not being used !
Wow I can't wait the part 2 that's why hit the like immediately hehehe stay safe guys, love to know the story behind that Amazing Glass Mansion.
"That's a huge radar!" It's not a radar it's a TV satellite dish. Young people now days know nothing!
Watched a show where a big group of 15-16 year olds were told to use a rotary phone. Funny asf..not one knew how it worked. I'm sure most kids do but..nope. These ones didn't have a clue
Y'all are probably too old to know what bitcoin is tbh so the road goes both ways here.
I mean, to be fair... Most people (regardless of age) don't know much about the things that weren't a part of their particular era.
@@cryptidamaranth7205 and nobody cares either...

"It's made of wood, kind of odd right? Wood and glass"

Most houses are not wood exterior because they can rot easily
Congrats, guys! It is very interesting. A beatifull place. I also enjoyed the drone, and the music. Who is playing?👩💻🎼🎵🎶😘
I absolutely love watching your channel. First, it's because of the structures you explore; second, your innocent take on things is so endearing to me.
That said, "the additional underground rooms" are a septic drain field. Definently not a room you want to explore. Haha!
Wow, what happened? I was trying to watch the Premier and it got cut off. Everyone hit that like button so we can watch the inside. Can't wait for it.
Ikr!
This was early attempt at eco friendly housing. All that glass is early solar panels. The grass over so much keeps everything cool.
Imagine having to mow the grass on your roof, must be a maintenance nightmare.
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 the first owner is extremely wealthy beyond your dreams. I doubt the Saudi prince even went inside after it was built.
Only true fans reach the end, love and support you man!
It’s currently, and has been for many years, owned by the local HOA of the community near it. There is a shuttered 27 hole golf course in the property that they want to revive. The house is on one of the parcels near the edge of the golf course (not in the middle of nowhere) and was built by Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz. In 1979 but he only used it for 1 month as his home.
It had changed hands many times and during that the golf course was built. There is a history of a scam involved with the course that caused it to close. The house was tied up for several years in litigation and the HOA purchased it to clarify ownership of it and the land. The intention was to renovate the 12,000 sq ft mansion as a clubhouse for the golf course once it reopened. Unfortunately, it has been 4 years since the purchase and plans are still underway.
This house has been documented a few times on UA-cam but the HOA has requested each removed due to last vandalism and the community wishing to protect it for the future use.
Thank you so much for the information.
Where is this? What state? Looks like PA
Angel Ramirez , you are the best! I love the historical aspect of each location, thanks!!
Kathie Davis it is in Virginia.
I usually wouldn’t help reveal a location but this home and the background on it are very well documented online. The legal battles and transfers of the property as well as history is easy to find.
It is amazing, watching the video, that it’s presented as some crazy, hard to find location
Anonymous Adult something kind of cool is the house has both a indoor swimming pool and squash courts.. from what I understand, The HOA bought the property for $1 plus the tax balance. The golf course is 330 acres.
They have been in the process of getting funding and plans to reopen the course and turn the 12,000 eq ft mansion into the country club since 2016.
So, it’s not technically abandoned, just waiting to be revitalized.
Oh, and no, it isn’t the house form 13 Ghost and most of the stories surrounding it is much. It’s just a house on a property, built by a prince that didn’t stay there and that has changed hands, some sketchy. A few times.
Hi Steve! This was a great find!! This house is beautiful! Hope your doing well and glad to see more and more awesome content from ya. Sending love and support from Kentucky
It would be neat if it had an atrium. Awesome house. Makes me want a house with a lot of windows, great natural light.
This is one of my favorite horror movies! I would be absolutely losing my mind.
Cool video guys! The newer release of 13 Ghosts, October 26, 2001, was shot entirely around Lower Mainland, British Columbia.
Keep exploring!! Keep adventuring!!✨✨✨✨
Love you for taking me where i cant go!! Xoxoxoxo
The architecture is amazing . all these mansions really need people to live in them . so many homeless people and so sad to see a gorgeous home just wasting away. We normal people can't afford these homes but it would be a dream come true
Is there a part two? I love this house it's amazing!!!!!
Big buildup "Premier" to see nothing but the outside of a building...meh

Well, im really glad they didn't break in. That would not he cool. So kudos to these guys for being polite.
Beautiful property! If it's not currently for sale someone has to own it. Thanks for sharing! 💜✌
Id like to know what's in ther basement/underground, secret rooms, secret panels etc lol
Nothing in there
You would have to find out if there is even such a thing first. The vent he pointed to and said it was probably for a basement or underground area? Yeah, that was a ventilation tube for a septic tank.
Would love to see part two, and if you consider buying it, make sure you do videos of the renovation of the inside. One of my favorite types of videos is watching renovation videos.
That is the most amazing building I’ve ever seen it is both unique in appearance and ominous looking and I watched the movie the 13 th ghosts and loved the movie ! Great video!
I am so glad you were able to upload this and that you have the patience and knowledge to figure it out. I was so worried that we weren't going to get to check it out. My grandfather loved horror movie's and got me hooked when I was a little girl , I'll give my age away Frankenstein and Dracula were in black & white , he would have loved 13 ghost's and especially Bran Stokers Dracula , that would have flipped him out 🐸 I wish I could give you 5,000 like's so you could straight to part 2 🤔

how come this video went up at 11pm last night, then was removed?, and now back on. very strange???. excellent video non the less steve. keep staying safe, and uploading exceptional videos
I grew up in a mansion (22 rooms) that was part solar (a lot of windows). So hard to clean the windows and they did not open. This actually reminds me so much of it. Probably closest to my old home compared to any other home I have seen before.
Your drone did a fantastic job of capturing the inside of the mansion! Very cool, but very mysterious.
Great find...if you get in check the vented areas to see IF they are rooms.
Some eco friendly places used vents ran underground with fans that pull air in as underground vented air usually is about 68degrees
Here is my comment: you brought me all the way here and didn't go inside! About the bones, animals carry pieces around and fight fight over them. You must do a part 2.

Always interesting to wonder about the back story
If they could afford to build this house, it probably has one heck of a good air conditioner in there.....and maybe blackout drapes too......love this place!!!!
But if half of it is underground, it would naturally be cooler.
It was built for a Saudi Prince.......
So price was no option! 💸💸💸💸
First video I've watched you having fun and relaxed! I am subed to your channel.
Would love to see you this relaxed and having fun again
The vent you found is most likely a vent for the inground pool
If you can't get into the house now then how you going to have a part 2 filming the inside?
Part 2 is a view of the inside from the drone
There's more to the inside than what can be seen through the glass!
Maybe they will get a bunch of UA-camrs to go in on it and buy the mansion. Surely the building is big enough to have their own studio and adventure/exploration web channel.
I've NEVER been disappointed with his explores until now. Why didn't he wait until he could have access to the inside to do this explore, because this was a big let down!!
Why'd they even bother uploading such a great video?!?!?! 25 minutes of fuc**** walking around calling things by the wrong names? Most explorers wouldn't have wasted the time for us to watch a ton of nothing...
Beautiful home would love to see the inside though.
Yes I would love to see part 2 it looks more like a compound

this would be the best youtube house ever! Be cool if you guys bought it and filmed the restoration of it! I want to see inside as much as you guys! Steve I am with you, I believe there are under ground rooms, the pool is under ground.
wow just wow and it's not all vandalized that's even cooler
It was vandalized a few times but a golf course bought it and fixed it up

It’s intended to be self sustaining e.g. the glass to bring in sun, warmth and underground/grass to cool off. That’s also why it seems partly underground. The inside if true to its purpose, should also be echo friendly and/or blend in with environment. Perhaps that’s why it’s all boarded up. Extreme weather would demolish it. That said, it’s creepy!
Please, please let us know if you are successful in securing photos of the inside.
Keep up the great work and making us part of this adventure. You guys ROCK! Be safe!
Eco-Friendly my friend 😉
There is a creepy vibe to this place ..Very cool design but maybe not a great history.
Imagine being in this building at night alone.
