- In this episode of BlacktipH, we go fishing with TFUE, one of the best video game streamers in the world, and he battles a massive fish! The day starts with TFUE and Josh trying to catch Rudderfish (lesser amberjacks). After several fish get eaten by sharks, TFUE and Josh decide to go shark fishing. We dropped the first bait in the water and hooked a sandbar shark. We dropped the next bait after releasing the sandbar shark, and TFUE caught a massive Goliath Grouper!

from experience, those huge saltwater reels are very difficult to crank with any fish on the end of the line, let alone huge sharks and groupers, so the way he was cranking on that grouper at the end was very impressive
its just never a good idea to take new saltwater anglers and put them on conventional tackle, it takes time to be able to use that tackle correctly

@@CarRimRod low gear on those big reels is literally just, turn the handle lol. For their purposes you need no experiences
@@YuelexTV i dont fish clients on conventional solely based off of the fact that they have a negative experience when theyre coming from freshwater fishing and dont have the developed ability to use them.. you can make claims that "its just turn the handle" its not. You obviously fish recreationally but im quite positive that you dont take clients out or guide in any form or fashion. I have quite a few years of fishing both guiding commercially and recreational and commercial snapper/grouper fishing. Using conventional reels is difficult for non saltwater anglers and especially individuals new the the sport. Ive given my opinions on the matter based on my experiences. Im not going to continue to explain.

Tfue grew up in Florida on a house literally on the Beach like 15 feet from the shore. So it’s makes a lot of sense that he is good and familiar with fishing.

Hello. I have never handled a goliath... But I have handled tons of freshwater fish with similar fin configurations.
Most fish spines or spikes are on the top of the back (to stab into the upper mouth of preadators of baby fish), pectoral fins, or gill plates. Fresh and saltwater catfish have additional spines around their mouth and the ones on their fins can be quite long.
Tails are typically safe to touch on most fish. Rays have tails to watch out for though.

when you put someone that used to using a small mouse everyday... the strain on the big boy is pretty obvious with anything bigger than his mouse.. he struggled and its damn reel !!

I caught a rudder fish outta Galveston that weighed at least 20lbs... he kicked my butt for about 5 minutes
so you caught a rudderfish that would be double the largest rudderfish ever recorded? keep up the cap, just do it online so you don't get slapped irl
@@chris6054 Well I must be mistaken then... it looked like a rudderfish to me, might have been something else. Wish I could post pics so you could tell me what it actually was... all I know is the deckhands on the boat called it a banded rudderfish... didn't mean to offend
