Yeah, all of a sudden deluxe Krang started to be found in California last week. No warning whatsoever. Last thing we heard from NECA was this one and the Splinter set were pushed to sometime in 2021. I've heard talk about them actually being in the possession of Target since October/November. So Target just decided to capitalize on Christmas (as if these wouldn't all sell out any other time of the year), and dropped them despite what NECA said. Who knows though. I hope that's the situation and it damages the Turtles contract. Like, still sell them at Target, just don't make 'em exclusives. _Every_ deserves a chance to buy Turtles stuff for retail cost. Sell 'em on a bunch of sites like they do with the (much less popular) arcade line. Oh, and more rounds of rereleases with the movie figures, but have a normal open pre-order system for them all.
This classic krang or Kraang is what he looks like when they made him cross over to the tmnt 2012 season 4 trance-dimensional Turtles & season 5 Wanted Bebop and rocksteady, episodes. That's how they animated him & classic shredder & 80s Turtles. They've done a fantastic job on the action figures. They have done great detail designs on 'em. 😎😀😃👍
This figure looks to be roughly the same height as Movie Super Shredder.... I think if Super 7 does Toyline Android Krang he will dwarf this one.... Super 7 Bebop is massive!

A can remember me mother got is them wen they came out, they where hard to get even bk then they couldnt keep up wuth demand lol a got 4 fake turtles first a didnt know the difference lol but eventually i had almost all them, a canny few waves in aswell, then couple years ago sold all me turtles to someone on fb for 200 pund, the guy it went to was a collector so it went to good hands
Whenever I see Krang in their android body, I can't _not_ think of Master Blaster from Mad Max. Surely that was the main inspiration, with the splash of Voltron or somethin'. And for your mega-sized Krang, you can always do some photography with them fighting Godzilla...or use some of those Mega Bloks toon Turtles.
Found this guy at Target today. There was only one and the hangtag on the box was torn, but I got him. I'm not keeping him carded so no big deal. Picked up the Splinter/Baxter 2 pack as well. They had plenty of those. I'm like you with G.I.Joe with this line. I didn't play with these as a kid (was hitting my teen years) but I kinda watched the cartoon. Watching it more as an adult now. These figures really nail it...Still can't stand that April figure though.😪
I'm so bummed. Mine has so many paint issues. Big red line on the upper thigh from paint rubbing And sloppy line work. Also no matter how many times I heat up his left knee it just won't budge at all. So glad I'm done with NECA after this wave. I'll gladly wait for Super 7's superior version.
I'm definitely a fan of balancing aesthetics with articulation. I'm just wondering if it could've been made to look good with giving the android body double jointed elbows. Regardless...I don't care as long as it doesn't break on me lol. Besides using heat, putting figures in the freezer is another way to break a joint free. With this being the most scalped line, it's not so easy just walking into a store to get a replacement.
For some reason he’s not available for preorder in Europe. Any reason for that? Metalhead was, super Shredder is, but Krang for some reason isn’t. And he happens to be the one I really want. It’s not like he’s more exclusive than the other two are.
i want to have 3 in my collection these figures are going to be hard to come by in the next decade and be expecting to pay well over $1,000+ for this figure 10 years from now or may even be 5 years from now. All TMNT figures from the NECA Line will be sought after years to come
got him yesterday. one to open and one to display in box. saw a scalper come by and look at the empty shelf, then he look at me. not today disgusting scalpers.
For all you know that was a regular guy and he thought you were a scalper since you bought two. And I couldn’t even blame him for that because anyone who displays figures in box obviously does it with the intention of reselling them later on with no value loss. There is literally no other reason for keeping figures sealed in their box than to resell them.
Still gonna buy it, but I wish it included the angry face from the package.
This really hypes me for a Super7 version tho.

The only accessory neca missed was that little transformer chip that went into his arm to make him grow 🤦🏽♂️
This is the last figure in this line I was looking forward to. I'm hoping they do this figure in quarter scale too so you can use him as giant Krang.
25” would be nice lol.... they could go with a hollow design to keep price and cost low and I wouldn’t complain 😉

I got one the other day, the left foot is bent oddly, saw and got another one with a smashed box, same thing. I can't see that being on purpose.

You can try adding some dish soap with a q-tip to the joints that sometimes gets the joints lubricated enough to give them more flexibility.
Yes, it’s pretty sad with NECA. The sculpts are on point, then they ruin it with all the QC issues.

How are the QC issues on this one? I've heard complaints of paint chipping and sloppy paint apps.
