i remember that episode. shredder got turned into a baby thanks to bebop and rocksteady screwing around with things and the beam hit shredder and he was going to use it on splinter and the turtles to turn them back into just normal animals again so he could finally do away with them. that one was so funny cause krang was getting a headache from all of shredder's crying. lol. good times.
NECA makes such cool sculpts, but they might as well make their toys out of porcelain and paint them with colored chalk. The paint chips and plastic breaks just the same.
Personally i think it’s hit and miss. Their painted figures chip like crazy. But their movie figures seem to hold up extremely well. No chipping or breaks on my NECA Back to the Future set. My issue is articulation. I just want butterfly joints and double jointed knees. Hasbro can do it at $20, idk why NECA can’t do it at $40.
Missed out on Krang's android body in the 90's, but not this time! Actually, I just received my NECA "Wrath of Krang" figure today just before I watched your video, and I gotta say, it rocks! Can't wait until I can get Tragg and Granitor to pose along side him for maximum Dimension X potential.
I'm not collecting the cartoon line from NECA, but for some reason I really want this one!

I used to have a very old toy of Krang’s robot body. And this brings back so many memories, it’s a new improved version of it
Neca really does make good looking figures.. such a shame they design them to be fragile, to fall apart, not be posed and not last long like all other toy companies do.. too bad really
I actually found the easiest method of popping the two halves apart is getting a fingernail onto one side and gently pulling away from the side notch (you could probably do this by pushing a finger into the side through the hole too). If you pull up while doing that, you can then pop the front notch out and he comes apart without any tugging on the top half.
But yeah, again, love this figure. It's quite literally one figure that I've wanted since I was a kid. It's friggin' great.
NECA's version of Krang's android body is, without a doubt, one of the best figures, next to Metalhead. I like how the joystick controls had been included in the stomach cockpit. That's a nice touch. I also like how the new Krang figurine fits inside the bubble walker. I wish the same figurine had also been released with the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives set, the Donatello vs. Krang 2-pack and the Shredder and Krang 2-pack.
Plus, I really liked how Chris Raimo who did the packaging mimicked the artwork style that was done by the late Greg Martin who did the artwork for the VHS releases of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) TV series. He should've also did the same for the packaging of the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives and 2-pack figures as well. I hope he'll do the same for single-released figures too.

For my collection this figure is high in the running for figure of the year in 2020. Krang was my favorite part of the show. Now we need this figure in 1/4 scale (ish) to use as giant Krang with the regular size turtles.
Neca really really needs to make a Human version of Baxterstockman from the 80's TMNT
The regional manager of all of our targets said that the neca supply guy hasn't bothered to come to any of our targets in over a year.. so no supply here

I finally found Krang after weeks of looking. The torso joint is very loose, big gap showing. If he was a human character it would be upsetting but I am grateful for the find. Good luck, everyone!
This is at the top of my list of NECA figures! Don't know how I'm going to find one, but hopefully I'll get lucky! Loving the new reviews!
This is a great piece for the price. I think the torso design is a big miss though. It should have a plastic door that krang fit into without having to split or break the body. Also I think its a missed opportunity to have put an led in the top half of the body so Krang could light up, similar to the First Gokin.
NECA should add a protection coated on the figures to reduce the paint chipping.
UA-camrs and scalpers have no problems getting these figures. How do regular people get them?
going to Walmart or target every morning when they open. scalpers will literally sit outside of target for a hour before opening just to rush & snag everything

I love how the front of the box looks like an old school vhs tape box that makes me want to get it over the figure which also looks awesome!!
Thanks for the background/history info on the figure. You know you have too many figures when you misplace the accessories for your figure. Of course, I'll never see this guy on my toy hunts. NECA please ship more TMNT figures. I don't pre-order and just buy stuff on the store shelves. NECA TMNT figures are as good as non-existent in my local stores. Funko Pops figures are out of control in my local stores. Maybe less Pops and more TMNT in stores? That's never going to happen unfortunately. Pops cost less and takes up less room on the shelf than the NECA TMNT figures. Stores love that combo.
Actually Krang doesn't "snap" onto the peg. It sits loosely and easily falls off

Picked up this guy the other day. Love it!
I don't even collect the cartoon line, but I saw this guy and just had to have him. I might have to at least get the ones that come in the VHS style boxes moving forward, but we'll see.
The knees and ankles are sticking, but I'll fix that whenever I'm going to actually keep him out of the box. Right now it doesn't really matter.
They really should have I included instructions on how to remove the torso. I ended up scratching some paint trying to get it open. He(and a lot of the bigger villains of this line) tends to topple over in my display even on a NECA stand.
But even with those issues, I love this figure and this line overall. Perfect representation of the cartoon and packed with deep cut references to specific episodes.

I love it. I also wish it came with a Mutagen Canister and a Communicator. I remember you had alot of different Original Krang Androids that you showed when you compared them with the Out Of The Shodows Movie Krang.
It came without the bubble walker, they cheated on us because they show it behind the packaging box like it came with it, good figure though, nice review too

I wish I could find one! My Target just had the Splinter & Baxter set. Apparently I heard they had a couple Krangs but that was weeks ago and I had no idea they were already out smh 😢

I love my Neca Krang. But I gotta be extra careful. I got a light scratch on the side of the yellow stomach and part of the paint on the metal suspenders is rubbing off. These are meant for collectors. So I'll be more careful. But I'll say it again, I love this Krang

krangs one cool figure a pity its top heavy neca should of made the legs stronger mould equal top to bottom of the body. like the detail and weapons and shower cap n towel . great review dan.

Hey Pixel if you have the Gokin Krang he also fits in nicely to this body.
Looks great with any of the 3 Krangs available.
For some reason this isn’t available for the European market super Shredder and Metalhead are and as far as I know Android Krang isn’t an exclusive or a preorder only figure like Tokka and Rahzar were so it’s kinda weird we don’t see him for preorder here. Kind of a bummer since I consider him an essential to the collection.

Unfortunately, my krang broke while trying to take the top half off😔. Luckily it’s nothing super glue can’t fix.
Maybe it's a nitpick but it would be cool if they gave us a plastic cover for the belly with a picture of the cartoon art of krang if wanted to use the bigger krang on the walker .

The yellow cockpit piece broke as I opened it up. It also had a black finger print inside it. The fact that they included paper blueprints but not instructions is irritating.

Are they even on preorder in Ireland? Here in Belgium there’s no sign of him as of yet.
@@jarosbodytko6462 litraly only got preorders for the last releases of two packs from traag -too rat king and Vernon we won't get them till April in demand toys in the UK have put up preorders for krang other singles and the punk frogs , I think they have traag and granitor in stock too but with brexit I'm not sure how that would work out for you cost wise most european comic stores have the same suppliers so maybe keep an ask with them I litraly have my local orders what ever becomes available for me
@@panda1774 yeah, so far anything is up for preorder here except for Tokka and Rahzar (understandably), the newest announcements and Krang. Anything up to Splinter and Baxter are on preorder. Maybe the preorders will show up later but so far everything was really early announced. Has me wondering if everything will be released here.
@@jarosbodytko6462 I did contact neca directly as I thought the whole customs and shipping was a bit much for there european customers and I was informed tokka and razar will be offered again later to Europe thankfully

Opened mine up today, his feet were somewhat angled down. Went to adjust them and both feet snapped off, one right after the other. Just watched the video and they are suppose to be adjustable. I am never gonna find another one now!!! 😡

Yeah, I already pre-ordered him. That is because I'm going for all the Shredder variants and that also happens to complete Krang's variants too. Speaking of the Knucklehead, do we know if Neca or Super7 are going to be making the vehicles for the TMNT line?
The Party Wagon seems to be in the pipeline as the first vehicle for Neca.

Put your finger inside and gently push out the hinges from the front, left and right sides
these are cool but so many of them have paint problems and paint chipping issues.

I took a small pocket knife and lightly scraped the paint off the those elbow joints, the flesh colored plastic underneath is a plus. It looks a lot better after scrapping it off.

Comparison time was disappointing. I wanted to see him next to the original 11” playmates and the first gokin Krangs.

A neat figure but I absolutely can't get mine to stand up at all, even with the help of figure stands. Also the size of the figure is very disappointing compared to the size of the original Playmates Robot Krang figure. The super articulation is pointless on a figure like this because it's so top heavy you can't realistically pose it anyway. Honestly think I vastly prefer the original. Huge chunky towering figure with absolutely 0 issues standing up even after like 30 years. I really like the look of the Neca figures but I feel like in 5 years half of mine will no longer be able to stand up because the ankle and knee joints will be worn out from bearing the weight of the top heavy figures.

I honestly didn't realize how inaccurate the original Krang release was until I got this one. I think they are different enough in a display where you can use the first Krang as another character.

You really think he’s gonna go through his huge collection in storage looking for one particular figure for a 30 second comparison? I think you seriously underestimate how much crap builds up when you’re a collector. I sure as hell wouldn’t do the effort. Especially when I have the exact same figure ready in a smaller size.
