Greece also won the Euro and England has not. He don’t say that.
I agree the England manager should be English, especially after Sven and Capello. The latter couldn't even speak English. That said, we don't have good enough English managers. On top of that, Pep can speak English, is Catalan and doesn't regard himself as Spanish, has spent 8+ years managing in England. He knows English players well, especially those that have played for him. Pep does have a good English connection, whereas Sven and Capello felt completely alien to me.

- won the PL
- won the championship league.

Annoying when weak pundits like Clink suggest a non-English coach and point to other nations that have done it. Yes that’s usually football minnow nations, not a nation a strong as England is, inventors of the game. Never would you see Germany, Brazil, Arg, Italy, Holland, Spain, France etc have a foreign coach.
So Rory, the next England manager has to be English, well how about Emma Hayes? After all she won more Premier Leagues for the Chelsea women than the Chelsea men's team in their entire history. But then again if Emma Hayes is excluded from managing England then there's probably an element of sexism from the English FA.
