I've been wanting to buy this camera for a while. I need to get it now, great video, very informative. Seeing your photos helped a lot! I've been using a Mamiya MSX 1000 for the last 10 years, I want something slightly newer, this ticks the boxes I'm looking for.
I have the same camera & sometimes when I try & shoot it doesn’t take the phot, the shutter button presses down but doesn’t shoot? what does that mean? I have to wait for a while till I can shoot again. Is it because of lighting or? Im quite new to film photography.
Yeah every camera is different when it comes to what could be the issue but a lot of times if the shutter is buggy it’s because the film isn’t advancing correctly and is getting snagged in some way. Anytime the film isn’t advanced the shutter won’t go off. Hope that helps!
The film I used in these videos was a combo of ektar 100, the images that were high contrast and saturation, and fujifilm c200, the images that were softer and lighter in the color grading. I do not currently digitally alter my film photos and I upload them as is.
awesome video, mine is coming in tomorrow!!
