Step 13 - Reset clock
Step 14 - Reset ESP light by turning steering wheel full left lock then full right lock then drive slowly in a straight line
Step 15 - Reset auto windows 'one-shot' by putting them all down and then holding the switches in down position (one by one), then all the way up and hold switches fully up (one by one)

When the second piece of plastic is being removed you have to push the 2 tabs in at the bottom,you didn't have terminal wire outside of plastic when you reinstalled it

Hi there! What about radio? I heard the radio in your car will have an error after battery replacement and won't work. I have Golf 5 1.9 TDI (2006 year), should I care about radio code?
Hi Vadim! I don't know if all the vw golf mk5 have a radio code after you change the battery, but our vw from the video didn't need a radio code and was also a golf 5 with 2.0 TDI engine.
Mine didnt need it either but power steering sign came on. Turning the steering wheel left all the way then drive sorted it
I followed this. Now with my new battery the left side of my car central locking and windows (front and back) not working. Any ideas how to fix. Battery is great, get clean starts first time every time but now issue with electrics in left hand side!
