Youu could just switch to the bridge pickup, dont have to remove it. but that wouldnt get his sound anyways.
he actually changed his pickups to be gibson thunderbird pickups, had modified marshall superbass 100 watt amps. that and his style is very aggressive.

Was great to see the ole Lemster on Motorheads recent tour of the UK. Still playing great rock and roll after all these years. They may be billions poorer than Metallica but they were always better .. they just never sold out.

Yep. They have just 5 albums, a lot of that written by Mustaine. The rest are crap. Motörhead had its ups and downs, especially since Eddie was fired, but overall the quality is light years ahead of Metallica.
