- Choosing your days objective depends on a number of factors, the weather, the snowpack history, avalanche danger, the group you are with and so much more.
In this weeks episode of How To Xv, I go through some of the different ways in which I review all of the above before setting out for the day, or for an objective.

I like the way you explain: compressed, clear, and always to the point. Definitely looking forward to the new content.
Thank you - much appreciated. Xv
Xavier, I watched most of your videos and love the concise summaries you provide. I guess summer hit you hard as well huh? No new content from you for 6 months. I hope you make some videos again this winter! I'm excited for this season, hopefully we'll get more snow than last year here in Colorado.
Hi David,
Thanks for the support, How To is going to be back this winter - from about early November.
I just release them throughout the winter as feel this is when people can get the most out of them.
Hope you have had a good summer - winter feels like it is coming up fast - and yes, hoping for some excellent stable snow pack across the globe... surely we can't have less snow than last year! Cheers Xv
@@HOWTOXV We'll pretend like this didn't jinx us ;) Thank you for all the great knowledge and tips. Hope everyone enjoys and stays safe during this great snowstorm this week!
😎
Thanks Xavier!! I love HOW TO XV!!!
Thank you - that means a lot. Xv
Love all your content 🤙. Is there going to be a new 22/23 Sashimi regular and split version this year? I got both last year and it's one of the funniest boards I've ridden up here in AK
I have the bought both Sashimi's as well this season and was wondering the same thing :D
BTW a hands on review of your signatur boards by you would be amazing. Maybe even with some footage where you ride them ;)
There is a new design coming this winter but the specs will be the same.
Glad you like it. I think it is my favourite board!
Hey Tom - thanks, I think this should come up on the Rossignol page as I have filmed one for them. Thanks Xv
