Why would anyone want to leave passive aggressive comments on you tube@suz4359 ? Who knows, they must find it fun... and I find this fun. And btw... the 90's is back in fashion...
It is good you are back again. Have a great season. Stay safe and strong. Thanks to your brother for creating Jones Aviator 2.0 - i am a proud owner and one more time thank you for the splendid YOGA section before/after snowboarding. These helps A LOT.
Yes - Will put it on the list, I will have to get out a hard boot board for some backside Euro's as I don't think it is possible with my set up - will try!! Xv
@@XVDLR Ahh no! Soft boot only... I've watched many Japanese riders cruise in squads laying massive front and backside euros with soft boots, it must be possible - maybe just an ultra wide board!
@@XVDLR Hi Xavier!! 👊 Waiting your video, I'm your big fan, love your videos, and very informative short movies for me. 🙏👌👊🏂 We are before the season, and waiting the new videos. 😉 Thank you!! Bye!!
@@XVDLR Hi Xavier. You can try offsetting your bindings as much as possible to the toeside, you should get enough clearance on the backside -> Record the heelside euros on your soft setup. No need for plastic to eurocarve on the heelside
Welcome back Xavier! Ma chérie et moi venons visiter Paris la prochaine semaine, mais la neige est fabuleux ici en Colorado. En attandant un Powder Dump pour les tree runs et back bowls, merci de nous montrer le Eurocave dans les groomers. Happy shred season!
Safety note: always have a quick glance uphill before you commit. This traversing uses up a lot of the piste, and you need to check for fast-movers not expecting this movement!
@suz4359 lol you are in every eurocarve video saying the same thing. Did you get scoliosis or what? Also what do you mean riding on arms, ideally you are not supposed to touch the snow with viteli turn. People just do it cause it looks cool.
For me and most of the people I've met in the snowboard community, a vitelli turn and euro-carving turn are different things. Vitelli turn: big wide turn with enough momentum to climb up hill, but not necessarily as close to the ground. Eurocarve turn: big wide turn leaning as close to the ground as possible, but not necessarily climbing up hill. Comment what do you guys think?
Thanks for your feedback, I have never heard that version of it but why not. In my mind it’s more a US/ Europe thing but what you say makes sense - so reckon you are totally right. Xv
Where to buy a board with a waist width 30cm? Nobody makes soft bord for carving. Why! Why! Head could make it, or nidecker or anybody else. Yes, boots is a huge probleme for Laid-Outs.
Weltrogg is looking for a waist width board of 30cm (due to boot size) and very few manufactures make boards that wide. Donek will make you exactly what you want. @suz4359
Hmmm... just seen @Rodrigo Alvaredo comment and he says Vitelli is climbing back hill and Euro carve is close to the ground... it appears I need to do some more research! - or perhaps as @goavegas says this is extreme carving from Jacques and Patrice - whatever it is... it is fun!! XV
Hi @suz4359 you have been having fun on the comments! Please read above - this is the name that I have always known it as (not my name by the way...) but I think you can call it whatever you like. Xv
Happy to see you'll keep making mountain lovers video for another winter!
You have the best freeriding, mountain adventuring content 🔥🤟
Thanks Maxime, really appreciate it. Xv

Nice to have you back! We would like some video-tips for the revert eurocarve... Let 's have an awesome winter!!! 🤘🙂
Thank you - alright, will look into the reverse - as in Backside - eurocarve. Whoop - fingers crossed for a good winter. Xv
@@XVDLR I could be wrong but I thnk akhs aks is asking about revert carves, not backside eurocarves. see here: ua-cam.com/video/gQ0x8oUKbrE/v-deo.html

Nice simple video, been carving since 1995. Heading to Chamonix in 30 days till feb !!
Siiick turns ✨🙏
Thank you - get onto it too! Xv
Back with the snow!
Yes - and more snow all week. Bring it on! Xv
Can do them heelside too if you have a custom board wider than your boots and bindings or go with an alpine stance with no overhang.
Yes - I need to get out a wide board, or one of my old hard boot ones and give it another go! Xv
2 words - 'Ryan knapton'
I'd say: "ToyFilms" (two words formed as one)
@@irontit2480 toy films for sure!
Happy Shreddin’...
..when somebody saying that backside eurocarve on soft board in duckfoot is impossible :)
@@Garufurendo01 well it’s only possible with extra wide custom built boards with man sized feet.
Spent days doing this in the early nineties, Vitelli turns!
Get back into it! Xv

Nothing about climbing uphill. Vitelli turn = eurocarve. Xavier is right in his vid.
impossible to do backsides.....haha Extremecarving riders do it for breakfast
Backside is more easy to do on hard stuff and front is more easy on soft just because of stance
Push pull technique from the Swiss school of snowboard, with hardboots look's better.
Definitely designed for the Hardboots - going to have to get mine out and give it another go! XV
Just get some hard boots and a stiff board and do real ones! :D
Yes - enjoy! Xv

Donek will make you aboard to your exact specs. They are near Denver USA but supply world wide no prob. I have one, pricey but worth it.

This is just carving? Euro carve you turn back up the hill
You can search for extremecarving to see how we do it with hardboots, technique created from two swiss guy,Jaques and Patrice from Zinal.
