i use createx paint too and try to use UVLS 4050 instead of the 4030 it is better over all than the 4030, for the candy try doing more than one or two coat for more opaque look

@@MF_XCIII thanks for the suggestion! I tried the 4050 on the second project I tried, and it definitely laid down a bit nicer.

Very familiar with createx. Don’t use balancing clear as a candy carrier. Only use 4050. But I don’t think that’s your color issue. You can go 1:1 Candy 2.0 to 4050 and it’ll work straight for most airbrushes but be a strong tint.

Thanks for the advice! I went with the 4050 at 1:1 for another deck that I sprayed this week, and it went very well, though I used some darker candies that better achieved the effects I wanted.

Pro painter? And can you be any more Canadian? But.... You unfortunately did a wicked job on the lines and paint work, keep it up and can't wait for the next video

You bet! I hammered 3 coats of clear on there, with the intentions of either adding more graphics to it, or just doing a good cut and polish. I haven’t decided which route to take yet!
