  • Shopping at the oldest market in Taipei 台北!
    On today's Taipei Vlog 🇹🇼
Home to the most festive Lunar New Year Shopping Area 迪化街年貨大街, Dihua Street 迪化街 in Dadaocheng district 大稻埕 is the oldest street in Taipei dating back to the 18th century.
From traditional snacks and candies to medicinal herbs, old-fashioned tea shops, to the most intricate vintage stores, we’ll take you along the long stretch of Dihua Street as we explore and celebrate the Lunar New Year in Taipei. Even Dihua's back streets offer specialty cafes for both coffee and tea lovers to keep you going (and shopping).
Dihua Street really comes alive at all times of the day! The Lunar New Year Market is well-attended every year by locals and tourists alike so be ready to face a fun-loving, wall-to-wall crowd.
Let’s welcome the Spring season with a lucky trip to Taipei! Just like our Tokyo and Bangkok vlogs, this video is part 2 of our Taiwan Travel Guide 2024, our first trip of the year.
Gong Xi Fa Cai! Xin Nian Kuai Le!
How are you spending your Lunar New Year? Let us know in the comments 🙂

I don’t usually comment on any vlogs but i must say I really like how you guys create travel vlogs, the aesthetic balance of it. It’s not a show off vlog; plus the creativity added with cinematic shots, brilliant. More power and travels to you guys.

Great video, we will be in Taipei in April and will be checking out the neighborhood featured. The new mic’s sound great and make a difference. You can definitely notice the lack of mic’s in videos from other travel vloggers that don’t have them.

I've never been to Taiwan but have heard of them being quite pro-Japan but I didn't think they would go to the extent of using hiragana on their packaging and the street basker was chef's kiss. What a lovely surprise! Looking forward to more of your journey 🙂
