Thanks for the react to my video (& sub) I agree with you on the sound, some people have complained but they just expect too much, it's a small pub & I'm right by the stage, I'm not there with fancy recording equipment to make a Bluray. I'm just there to enjoy the show & made photos/videos to share with fans that wasn't there to experience it. During the sound check (Which we were present for) they were actually having problems with the ear monitors and played through 3 songs before the actual show started but Asami just couldn't hear through the monitors and wasn't singing, they were going to try performing without the ear monitors but they eventually got the problem sorted out.
Surely, when bands play at these small venues then they show what they really are made of. Lovebites is an amazing heavy metal band. Just look how joyful Fami is; she’s having a blast with this new experience.
I was at this show, and it was the most fun I've ever had at a concert. The vocals sounded louder in person, and the mix was reasonable considering the size of the pub. The 300-350 of us who were crammed in there got to experience a real treat. Can't wait to see them again (and meet them) on the 1st July.
You should check out one or two of the fancam soundcheck videos from London. There are a couple of them where you get good views of Haruna doing her thing, and you get an even greater appreciation of what an absolute monster of a drummer she is.
Fami's smile is just so infectious. Lovebites have completed the London (second show will be on July 1) and Belgian legs of their current tour and they should currently be playing LIVE in Germany as I type.
Cannot wait to see them in Atlanta, LA and SF. Three very different venues with different capacities, so we'll get the bigger venue and tiny venue experiences.
Haruna and Asami really stood out to me at the gig. I guess we all know how good the three guitarists are but even seeing live videos didn't prepare me for how good Haruna and Asami are. 5 world class talents.
LOVEBITES - When Destinies Align lyrics: It is not just some coincidence It is nothing like reality It is something very precious that not everyone can get It is like a dream, a turn of fate It is what the each of us can bring It’s a chemical reaction, only possible by these pieces Why must someone get in our way?We won’t let them We can go cause we believe Why must someone put out the light deep inside our hearts Can you see?We can create a miracle Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future All of our hopes are in these hands Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know We will always be together Carry on, carry on This is us, carry on It is failure that has brought us here It is made of our blood and tears It is something very strong that keeps us moving on and on It is love, ambition, destiny It is why we’ve been through everything It is what becomes the reason, shining bright into tomorrow Why must someone get in our way?We won’t let them We can go cause we believe Why must someone put out the light deep inside our hearts Can you see?We can create a miracle Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future All of our hopes are in these hands Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know We will always be together Carry on, carry on This is us, carry on Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future All of our hopes are in these hands Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know We will always be together Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future All of our hopes are in these hands Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know We will always be together Carry on, carry on This is us, carry on ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020
I've seen a bunch of fan made videos now (this one by Rob Arrowsmith) of the metal Queens performing in London and Belgium on their World Tour. Incredible how small of venue this is and how close people got to see the ladies perform. My favorite part on this video is when Fami looks right into the fans camera and smiles, So cute! Another great one posted from here is Shadowmaker in London where BenJPR almost gets head butted by Asami, lol. Shadowmaker at London New Cross Inn June 14th (ua-cam.com/video/U0bU3zIMLOM/v-deo.html)
The sound for the London show isn't as good as that as from Belgium. I recommend checking out some of the performance uploaded from Belgium. Watched the whole thing and it was fantastic. As a raw recorded off a cell phone the quality was pretty good, considering. Less so for London. I think the sound in the venue was maybe more limited as this was a pub. Still, they are amazing live and you can hear their technicality coming through. It's also amazing to see them so close! Great observation too re stage sound vs PA. Thanks for checking this out. Really looking forward to seeing them later this year!
I came back here to edit my post, but my comment is gone. It was in reference to their Strasbourg live stream. I just found out Sugiyama, ( their manager ), didn't want it up on UA-cam. So it got pulled.
I know this is an odd observation, but watch Fami-san's eyes and fret hand. She is not looking at her fretboard, and making five fret movements. How comfortable is that, on your instrument? They chose damn well!!
Awesome!! I wasnt in London but was in the Italy show, i thought the sound was great, i was on the far right front row and i could still hear Midori opposite of me in the far left, a bit lower than Miyako right in front of me, but i could still hear her fine. The Italy venue was better than this London one maybe that also helped having better sound. The show was amazing!! 🤘😊
Sadly every fancam video from their London gig ( in a TINY venue ) has had really rubbish sound . Having said that anyone I've spoken to who was actually there said the sound was OK - but IMHO when fans post these I really don't think it does the band any favours 🤷♂
The sound in the venue on the night was nothing like as bad as this video might suggest. It was not the best I've ever experienced, but given the limitations imposed by the size of the place it was OK. The Ladies made the best of what they had to work with. The variable quality of the videos that have been going up on YT are probably due to the equipment they were recorded on and the position relative to the speakers. I was in the venue whilst they were still doing the sound checks prior to the concert, and they did seem to be having some trouble getting acceptable levels, Miyako in particular spent quite a lot of time working on it. They seemed to have only one tech guy working with them, but in the end it was a great show and I'm glad to have been there to see and hear them.
@@tonym480 I did mention that and my comment wasn't intended to be disparaging about the band ( I'm a massive fan ! ) but rather about people who post fancam videos , most of which are TERRIBLE , although as I said this is one of the better one's, just for views and likes . IMHO it's disrespectful to the band and as I said does them no favours . Ask yourself this - if one of these videos was the first time you'd heard Lovebites would there be a second time ? 🤷♂
Thanks for the react to my video (& sub)

This is the most pure sound we can hear recorded with a CELPHONE. 😂😂🐺🤘❤️🤘🐺

彼女たちの話では、この会場の音響設備や電波状態による問題で、イヤーモニターがほとんど機能しておらず、「自分たちの声や音が聞こえない状態」での演奏だった様です。

Most bands would be think they were too big and precious to play a tiny venue - not Our Ladies! They still brought their A-game. 🤘🔥💜
This performance was in a London Pub! Very small venue, lucky audience 🤘
Haruna and Asami really stood out to me at the gig. I guess we all know how good the three guitarists are but even seeing live videos didn't prepare me for how good Haruna and Asami are. 5 world class talents.
Lovebites in Lindau, Germany is live in just one hour! YES!!

I was there, awesome gig. Venue was 500 capacity.
Watch the LOVEBITES concert in Ittre, Belgium, it has better sound quality! 🤘

it’s worth pointing out. there was no air con in there. by this point you couldn’t see out the windows for the condensation and it was hot as hell.
This band is incredible all around so talented

this young lady is a beast on bass!..not sorry but give her more freedom she is better than Misa in my opinion🤘🏽
was it me or could i hear Haruna s ice bell
Midori💚💚💚💚💚
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yes Racer X ..PAUL GILBERT the Best Guitarist Ever
Lovebites deserve a big stage not small like this. I never expected this
🐺LOVEBITES RULES🐺
Their producer who plans the Venues must dislike them always booking smaller places.
